  1. I finished mine tonight. 12 team PPR league. I got Josh, Motor, Diggs, Moss, Bills‘ D and Knox right in that order. Here’s my reasoning:

    1. I’m a huge homer and I don’t care who likes it or not.

    2. Due to the pandemic I’m drinking the Kool-Aid on continuity.

    3. Last year the Bills were pretty healthy. I attribute it to a few things but the biggest is their training facility. Having a couple of hyperbaric tanks certainly helps the cause as well. Another aspect is the type of athlete that McBeane is assembling. They have bought in and have a great mindset and take their profession very seriously.

  2. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if they do and they do it in a big way. No matter what you still have to watch it on tv so why not from the parking lot? To me the Bills’ Mafia tailgating isn’t just tailgating, it’s an event. All the activities from Pinto Ron to all the way to just chilling and grilling I have never seen any fan base get so up for a home game. Thoughts?

  3. They’re discussing Cam Newton vs Josh Allen and which you would rather have and Kyle Brandt just slams the door shut Schrager’s choice. I know 1 thing for sure about Josh and that is if there’s a fumble on the ground there’s no doubt in my mind that Allen is going to do his best to try and get it.

    Go Bills!

Kamara has elite route running ability and speed, the one quality our backs don't have. There are still plenty of options for featuring both our guys though.

Point well taken but what I like about the Bills’ offense is the potential of it. Having a big mobile QB like Josh who can sling it down the field to WRs  like Diggs and Brown and in addition a couple of pass catching TEs sure can open up the box for a couple of elusive power RBs who can catch out of the backfield make elite speed not quite as important to the Bills as it may be to some other teams’ offenses that are not quite so diverse as the Bills’. Someone earlier mentioned Christian Wade for the “home run” ability. I like that idea the more I think about it because why would the Bills keep such a project on the roster if they aren’t planning on using him?

I may be the only one here, but if the way Singletary was used last year is any indication and the fact they spent ANOTHER 3rd round pick on a RB, I don’t think the team is sold on DS at all.  He’s exciting, but the lack of breakaway speed is a killer.  Personally, I think Moss COULD be a top 5-10 back in the league.  He’s basically a prototypical size/speed for the position, runs down hill, has some hands and is pretty elusive.  Aside from height, he’s a like a shiftier version of Derrick Henry.  No I am absolutely not saying he will be DH, but the skill sets are very similar and if he puts in the work and the scheme lines up, I have no problem envisioning that kind of success.  DS could make you miss in a phone booth, but he’s still awfully short and will almost always be the slowest skill position guy on the field, that combination rarely translates to big success in the NFL.  He could definitely make a place for himself on 3rd downs etc, but I’m not sure he’s ever going to strike fear into the hearts of anyone.  Moss just might, especially if the line comes together with Ford and Williams doing some road grading, it might be awfully hard to stop that guy.

The exciting part in all of it, the line has a lot of potential to be not only good, but pretty deep this year, Allen should have some time and the RBs should have some big ole holes out there.  Every one of the linemen is pretty well built for the run, with Morse being more of a true pass protector, but still no slouch.  The running game should be a huge factor this year. Hopefully, they take a page out of the early Patriots dynasty play book, hammer the run when it’s there and torch you with the pass when it’s not.  This O can be awesome if Allen can do his part, there are 2 #1 WRs with speed, a crafty slot guy and I expect Gabe Davis to be a real factor as well, plus we can hope to see some more growth at the TE position, there should be a lot of room in the middle of the field if the run game pulls the Lbs up and the speed at WR takes the safeties deeper.  This could be a lot of fun.

You make some very valid points.

Maybe I misrep, I’m not at all worried about this season or either of these RBs, rather it’s actually the opposite. I’m ecstatic not about a RB but about 2 RBs! I seriously think that the Bills could possibly have a ground game that will be dominate for a few years. When was the last time anyone was able to feel like that about a Bills’ backfield? McCoy was nice but the best of him was mostly in the past and in the end he couldn’t stay healthy and/or played hurt.

This is a message board, I like to think about things before they happen rather than talk about them after they happen.

  6. I have a few questions that needs some time for the answers to come to fruition. There’s plenty of speculation that go around about these two but I’ll just streamline to what the Bills would do if both are extremely productive, like I think they will be, when both get close to fulfilling their first contract. Could the Bills afford to pay both of them big contracts? I don’t know if that’s possible, or if it is, would that be too much money to tie up at that position? If all things are equal between those two when that time comes and the Bills could only re-sign one of them, then who would that be? If both are healthy I think what might be the safer bet would be Singletary. Due to the way Moss runs and his college injury I would think that Singletary would stand a good chance of being able to having a longer career.

I’m also anxious to see how these 2 perform together as a 1-2 punch. I think that the Bills could have the top rushing yardage in the league. As much as I love the Bills and Singletary I’m excited the most about is watching Moss run this season. Matter of fact as exciting as these last 3 years have been with all the rebuilding process, adding, cutting and trading of players, that tandem of Singletary & Moss, and Moss in particular, this year is going to be the big difference between the Bills having a good team and a great team. I truly believe that between the pandemic affected season, the Bills’ great defense and their powerful running game they are a serious threat for the Super Bowl and at the very least the Bills are in the AFC Championship game. If neither of that comes through it won’t change the way I think and feel about them and where they are at as a team, it’s just an expectation that I think is a real possibility.

  7. Big difference. The 49’ers are going all in. That’s a lot of pressure in a asterisk season. If they come up short it just might make that a combustible roster/locker room. I like the lower expectation, it takes a lot of pressure off. If the Bills can’t take or seriously threaten for the division title this year then they might have to do some big time reassessments come next off season.

  8. I can’t speak for Belichick but I would venture to think that there is absolutely no way Belichick would take on Kaepernick. Steve Belichick, Bill’s father, served in WWII and was a scout for over 3 decades at United States Naval Academy. I would be shocked if that were to happen. Kaepernick represents everything opposite of what Belichick was raised to believe in.

  9. “20K of ice.” That was Shaw’s response after he left the locker room the day he had that dust up with Fournet. Also several of the players, including Shaq, matter of fact he spearheaded it, went to a jeweler’s almost immediately when the Bills went to Houston for the play-offs. Jordan Phillips was 1 of the several. The Bills lost and neither Lawson or Phillips are on the team anymore. I wonder if they weren’t a cultural fit despite their production during the season and if that had as much as anything else for not retaining either of them. Everybody has priorities and I wonder if theirs’ weren’t matching up with Beane/McDermott’s.

  10. Let me share a bit of what I recently been going through. I really want a Zack Moss Elite Jersey, sewn name and letters etc etc, and I can’t find one... nowhere! Apparently where these sport shops get their merchandise is from vendors who happen to be shut down at the moment due to the Corona virus. I’m led to believe that hopefully things will be up and running in about 4 weeks, I just found this out yesterday from the Buffalo Bills’ store. They are all waiting for it to go from Stage 2 to Stage 1 if I’m saying that right.

  11. I didn’t see any of this posted yet but thought it might be of interest due to the potential state of the Bills’.

Lawson tweeted about Fromm couldn’t be his teammate and that he had to check Josh Allen when he first came to Buffalo because of some of Allen’s earlier comments while he was still in college. I wonder how many other Bills’ players share Lawson’s sentiments.

  12. I’m jumping on The Pain Train right here, right now! Zach Moss is a hammer, RBs like him only come around once in a while. Moss no doubt will make everybody else around him on offense better because of what he brings to the table. No predictions on his personal stats but there is no doubt in my mind that he is a rare intangible to this offense. I’m getting an authentic jersey of his when I get my wash out next month. I already looked but I can’t find one. If anybody knows where I can get one it will be greatly appreciated. I’m prepared to drop $350.00 on one if I have to.

  13. Le’Veon Bell running behind a huge OL is a intimidating concept. Are the Bills heavy enough up front? Having Josh Allen racking up fast points would most definitely offset some of that grind it out philosophy. Scoring 17+ points in the first quarter and a half would also allow us to run behind our young tandem of Singletary and Moss. Bottom line is the Bills’ offense needs to control the tempo of the game, especially against a team like the Jets are gathering.

  14. Thank you for posting this. It should be easy to remember and hard to forget the bravery of the all the American men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom but in today’s world I’m afraid that maybe at times we get that ass backwards. Thank you for serving Mr Kalsu May you Rest In Peace. A true American hero.
