  1. Josh is back to having happy feet. I'm not saying he's breaking the pocket and running, though sometimes he is. He has plays where he could plant and through, but he is hoping around and not throwing from a solid base. IMO that is a big reason for many of the passes being off. The WRs aren't doing him any favors either. The only one I've seen pick up slack for a not great ball has been Shakir.

He’s the number one rated QB in the league.

That speaks more to the decline of QB play than his excellent form. 300 yds passing in 2 games isnt anything to brag about. He is missing wide open throws and still showing poor judgment in target selection.

Last week we ran the ball down the Boys throat for an easy win.  Was that wrong?

No problem with a great passing game.  Josh woke up and won the game for us.  But if he and the team had been awake from opening kickoff on that would have been an easy win yesterday.

It's Christmas Eve. How about you just let everyone enjoy that we didn't lose and we can all have a nice time with our families. Hope you all have wonderful days filled with love and treasured memories!

  4. It would sure be nice to be peaking going into the playoffs. I dunno what's up with Josh this season but I hope he deals with whatever mental crap he's got going on and remembers how to string positive games together. His ball placement last night was very poor. Yes, it's nice to win a game we would have lost earlier in the season but I don't like playing down to the competition - we have losses to the Pats and Jets for cripes sake.

That said, it's really nice to be going into Christmas with a win.

Felt Brady got away from run game for some reason. Chiefs got pass rush going .. enough of the wasted sideways bubble crap screens.

We needed ONE single run in order to get the clock to 2 min warning and we passed 3x. I agree with this statement.

I think it depends how they finish. There’s a real chance they go 2-5 down the stretch. If that happens I think there could be wholesale changes.

The biggest question is does Brandon Beane survive a coaching staff change?

I think his success in later rounds points to that. He can blame the terrible 1st rd picks on McDermott being overly involved there and i think Pegula will believe him. Not saying it's true, just that it's a believable excuse.

  7. Dorsey needs to be fired yesterday, he is simply not a good playcaller or coach. The defense is missing CBs 1 & 2, our best 1Tech, our all pro MLB and they at least appear to be trying hard to overcome their deficiencies in talent. The offense is pretty much at full strength and playing like a bunch of devoid-of-poise, talentless hacks and it has been most of the season. I blame Josh almost as much as Dorsey but at least he has talent so you have to change the things around him. Firings really NEED to happen.

totally with you. we need to lock him up and take away his freedom to appease our ridiculous passion about grown men performing entertainment for us.

    dance for us, monkeys! dance!

That's not what he said. I don't think it's asking too much of a franchise QB to put in some work in the offseason with what they are making - Josh has done it in the past and we see most others doing likewise - he did not do so this offseason.

  9. 177 with 2 ints is just who he is right now. His processing has been poor all season and he has not looked great thus far. I get flack for saying I don't think he's working hard, but I don't think he is. He has said he doesn't like to watch a lot of tape because he prefers to react to things on the field, he has also stated publicly that he uses the offseason to rest and heal and not to do a lot of physical training - these are not franchise QB answers.

If they wanted to move him, they would have.  That's how I feel about it at this point.

Not sure exactly why they are keeping him if they don't want to play him but apparently they like something enough about him to not give up on a 1st round pick.  And I don't think it's hubris.  He's been good in game other than 1 or 2 games.  They just don't trust him in the system for some reason.

There is zero value in trading a 1st rounder who has flopped during his rookie deal. Might as well just keep benching him until he learns how to play.
