Maybe he does base work. In that case, I don't think he does himself any favors with how he describes his offseason routine. I'm watching Mahomes in QB on Netflix put his body in crazy training situations to help his muscles perform better on off-platform throws and seeing guys like Peyton stressing how crazy their film viewing habits are and then I'm listening to Josh basically state he uses his offseasons to live like the Dude from the Big Lebowski.

Josh is on the record stating he doesn't like to watch film. The second I heard that this offseason I knew we weren't going far. He also said he doesn't really like to work out with weights all that much because he didn't at all one offseason and he did better on the conditioning drills. Kid got paid and stopped working.

At some point you should read what was written and realize I am blaming both the playcaller and the player. Running the ball and the threat of running is a major weapon for Josh, that has been schemed out of the playbook and he has been admonished over and over to stop freelancing and he chose to listen to that stupid bit of advice. He has poor judgment as it is but now we've removed half of his ability to create wow plays to make up for the boneheaded ints he throws.

Defense is just not good with all the injuries and Ken Dorsey has effectively neutered Josh with his garbage playcalling.

Regardless of the arm problem, Josh's biggest problem is between the ears. He has shown poor judgment over and over again.

The defense is dead. You couldn't have picked 3 worse season-ending injuries for our system. Teams will run the ball at will against us and then switch it up with sweeps to the edges because we are trying so hard to overcompensate for the gaping hole in the middle of the D. I dunno how or why but despite all the metrics of him being more efficient I just don't see Josh being clutch anymore. The offense is lost and uninspired and the defense just has no shot. This is a 8-9 win team maybe.
This team looks completely unprepared and that is 100% on coaching.

Air cast is used to immobilize the knee, I don't know what the injury is but hope it's neither a break nor a serious ligament injury and is just a sprain or strain.

If only there was a 1st rd quality cb available who knew the system and could rotate in with Dane Jackson...

Out of Allen's 19 2022 regular season turnovers, 12 of them were with the Bill's leading and 4 were with the Bills tied . All Allen's turnovers when tied occurred in the first half of the games.
Only three of Allen's 2022 turnovers occurred with the Bills trailing:
(1) An interception down 0-7 in the first half against Chicago.
(2) A fumble on first down trailing 21-26 at midfield at the beginning of the 4th quarter in the 2nd game against the Dolphins. Plenty of time left to make up 5 points and in fact the Bills eventually win this game.
(3) An interception ending OT down 3 against the Vikings -- this is the only one that meets the criteria for a do or die situation.
When McDermott keeps saying Allen has to play smarter, it isn't only about sliding at the end of runs.

IMO most of his poor decisions are made when he's trying so hard to make a play because we're behind. We never should have been in the position to have to get a FG to tie the Jets game, he lost us that game and it shouldn't have even been close. There a dumb thing that happens on this board (not talking about you specifically) but I think we should be able to express concerns or doubts about our players without being accused of not being a fan. I'm not saying he sucks, I think he's great - I just worry about his decision-making mainly because I thought he was getting past this shaky part of his game and it's still rearing it's head.

I have a hard time thinking we're going to win this week. Our D has been good to great this year but I still see our CBs as the weakest link on our team. I've lost confidence in Josh when he's not playing with a lead.

Our Defensive front 7 looks a LOT better than I thought they were. Our CBs look decent to average. Our offense is not great. I thought Josh was going to be off to the races but he seems to have regressed in his processing.

This game is horrible.

Josh has the physical tools to be the best in the history of the game and sometimes he pairs those tools with all the poise of a chicken with its head cut off.

Josh has thrown 2 of the stupidest ints I've seen. Between him running around all jittery with no poise at all and these horrible decisions I'm pretty down on him.

If we don't pick up some help on D I think you can probably call this season over. We won't be able to keep up with Cinci, KC, or Mia's offenses at all
