  1. There was a post on the front page of TBD with McNally saying he expected Peters to be the LT and called him a phenom. I posted this a couple time, wondered why no one made a bigger dea about it If McNally thinks Peters can really be good that answers a lot of questions as to why we took Parrish instead of OL in the 2nd and Everett in the 3rd. Also, was anyone else as surprised as I was with MIA's coach saying that while Everett was less developed football skills-wise than the last 3 TEs there (Franks, Shocket, Winslow), he was faster and stronger than any of them and a better blocker? I tihnk he couldturn out ot be something special. If he develops into an every down player (which he is not considered to be now by the coaches) I would call him a big upgrade.

  2. I think its funny, we made a good move not trading Henry for some marginal talent or a low pick that wouldnt have contributed. he will play for us this year and will be the best backup in the league if we dont trade him. So at this point sportswriters are only passing judgment based upon the fact that they dont look like they know what theyre talking about cause the were way off. We ever liked Shelton in a straight up trade and i daresay we only really would have done the trade to move up in the 2nd cause he's only serviceable. The cardinals do not have fans, their stadium is always half empty, they are the definition of fairweather. Theres a high school football team there that gets more people at their games than the Cards and Im not kidding about that. In the meantime, we'll be going to the playoffs this year with the roster we have, they will be going home.

  3. I think the quotes were funny, some people need to relax and stop being defensive. I love how all of us here are CERTAIN of what is gonna happen. Well yesterday i was screaming at the TV to trade up before JAx and take barnes. When we took Parrish in the 2nd (who i love) and then Everett next i realized I dont have a Fuggin clue what the hell TD is thinking. I DO like our picks, though they bewilder me somewhat (I can rationalize them too so please dont bother to EXPLAIN to me why YOU are the only person in the world who understands the picks). I guess 1-we have much more confidence in Anderson and Edwards than we thought 2-I read McNally called Peters a "phenom" and expects him to start at LT, this either happens or Teague may go to left and we start our rookie C 3-Draft experts are giving us bad grades becase: They were very wrong. We didnt pick the people any of the "experts" commanded us to take, they are of course always right, so even if we got the best value in our picks we deserve a poor grade for going against their bandwagon-jumping, mandarich-praising @sses.

  4. Peters is huge, athletic and fast, i dunno why you knock the decision. just cause a guy was undrafted doesnt mean he's not good, it just means the scouts didnt know where to put him. He's a good player and we saw him motor in Special teams, and make big plays, Im excited. If McNally says he can do it, I believe him. With the addition of a good TE and WR, I can see our offense being WIDE open next year.

  5. here is my frustration. Barnes was there, I dunno if we tried to trade up for him or not, so thats moot. But, Miller, Terry and Hawthorne were all around, why not take a player we NEED because I havent seen anyone who rates Parrish as a better value PLUS, we NEED DL and OL. Dont get me wrong, I will be a big Parrish fan especially when we start playing more open sets and I know mularkey used 3 wrs well cause look at ward, randle el and burress, but it just feels like we had greater needs elsewhere. Hope Im proven wrong.
