Again, never said we were going to the playoffs. I'd still feel better not making the playoffs with marv than with someone else. Let's face it, we talk about all these college jocks like theyre gonna save the team. FA is the most immediate way to affect change, the draft is a crap-shoot. When all is said and done I just want to feel comfortable that my team is in the hands of someone that loves it as much as I do because I know they have reasons beyond a contract for being here. TD was always a cold businessman. Marv loved this town and this team and before you go listing all examples of all the hometown failures let me say Marv will never be a failure to me. He gave me some of the most exciting years football-wise of my childhood.

I would trade every pick in the draft for him. Obviously I'm not advocating that so before you tear my head off, know that. I just think he is going to be an excellent qb and I would gladly trade this year and next years 1st rounders and whatever else it took to trade up to 2 and take him. I don't care of Losman pans out, he's not half as good as Young is on Young's worst day. Face it, we're not making the playoffs with the QBs we have right now. So you can draft all the OL and DL you want, but we have nothing behind center. I'm not giving Losman time, I didn't see ANY indication last year that he was maturing or that he ever would.

Bell has upside and could be a pro bowler. I'd take him for a reasonable sum.

Spikes is coming back from a MAJOR injury, Posey isn't that solid and Fletcher is getting older and might be gone soon. Are you so shortsighted you wouldnt take Hawk?

Umm, why would we spend top dollar on an older guy? don't get my wrong I like Law, but wouldnt it make more sense to just pay clements. winfield broke my heart when he left, I wish they would just pay nate.

Oh cincy, you cut to the heart of me, please I beg to be back in your good graces (please note my sarcasm and incredible loathing). The request was just for a couple short lines (thank you Clements 22). HAHA Senator I love those, I read that book last year. Yeah tennesee they have been working us pretty hard, plus I volunteer for the PD's office whenever a I get minute.
I'll just recap and please correct me if i am wrong, since cincy would rather type smack than be cool with a stranger. As far as I can tell we 1)- lost mularkey 2)- still dont know what's going on at QB 3)- Still havent addressed Clement's contract 4)- Hired Jauron (did he run away with it or was it really between him and Sherman?) 5)- Haven't decided what to do with Moulds and Mike Williams? (I know they have huge cap numbers this year)
PS- has there been any news on Takeo and if/how he has been recovering?

Ok so I know it sounds weird, but I'm a second year law student and other than reading the front page of the drudge report once a week in class I really have been so swamped I have not read ANYTHING about the Bills in the news. Having just gotten a bunch done I have started the process of reading all the articles on the news page, but there are so many of them. Could someone PLEASE recap our offseason for me? I know Mularkey left, but all I have heard is he was unhappy with the direction the team was going. What is Losman's status? I saw my first game ever in Buffalo when they played Atlanta and he looked simply terrible. I appreciate any info you give me. I value all the members of this board.

Speaking of Fabio, that "I used to date Fabio" is the worst twist ending on any show ever. I saw on VH1 that in the UK they had a show where the good looking woman that everyone made out with turned out to be...A MAN.

BTW i know the idea is not good, but come on, what else is there to talk about. I am on Ngata's jock too. Although, i think it's hilarious how top 10 picks get write-ups like the analyst doesnt know how the NFL has ever gotten along without a talent like them. A couple websites have this guys walking on water and stopping the riots in Denmark with a single look.
