  1. Huff and Davis are not Luxury picks they would fill a hole on the team. The Bills have no play making TE's that we know of and need a replacement receiver to replace Moulds (I think with moulds gone the Bills are more likely to draft Davis if available) Huff is a Safety which is another position we need to find a replacement after milloy is gone.

A luxury pick for Buffalo would be to take another QB, or starting RB, or a Punter in the first round. We have enough players with some talent to challenge for those job and bringing in another would not help this team out much.

Huff is a luxury pick because we have two starting S who can play right now, I dont care about in a couple of years. Davis is about as exciting as Ben Watson was when he came out, you're just following the leader like the rest of the sheep. We do NOT have DL or OL, nor do we have a QB. We will take Justice, Ngata/Bunkley, or Young.

PS- If Ralph really wants to make money he should take someone people would actually be excited to go see play, like Young. I don't give a damn about what you think about him, the guy is a baller and gets 'er done. Oh yeah and maybe people would have something else to say about Buffalo other than we are perennial doormats.

  2. Screw the Huff pick giving me any hope. If we lose Clements that's the last straw for me. With the current ownership's concern about staying in Buffalo at all and the fact that our 8th worst record in the league team is markedly WORSE than last year as we stand right now, it's starting to become apparent to me that we won't make the playoffs this decade. This team has NO commitment to winning. We lose Clements and I'll lose all faith in the Bills, not because I like him so much, but because we've managed to re-sign exactly 1 good player (Schobel) in the past 5 years. The Bills have become the NFL's farm system, developing young players and letting them go to other teams to play the best years of their career rather than pay them.

  3. 2 years from now -- 9-7. I feel like our draft picks from this year are going ot be contributors, the draft is deep. High pick net year gives us some offensive firepower and we turn it around.

5-11. We're not gonna beat anyone in our division. I gave us the Houston win just because I refuse to believe we lose to them, but if they have Bush we can't stop him. So, maybe 4-12.

  5. Screw it I'd take Young. Maybe someone will say something nice about us for a change. it's be nice to have someone decent playing QB for us. Losman wasn't a big deal even in college, at least we'd have a winner and someone who would give us some hope. In that vein, I want someone that will actually give me hope for the future, Cutler doesn't, Young and Hawk do.

  6. Quinn is the real deal. We have a couple good guys here, Stovall whose in the draft this year, Quinn and Samardzija. Zbikowski is a decent S but he's overhyped. We won't get Quinn but he is going to be a great NFL QB. He has good decision making skills and is mobile with a cannon of an arm. He showed those talents BEFORE Weiss got here so he's not just a system QB. I wish we could get him, but i would be sad if we are in a position to deaft him next year cause he's a top 3 pick.

  7. IThe guy that i really want to see brought in is i think his name is Charles Spencer. Can anybody say Ruben Brown. Started at tackle, moved inside to guard, Pitt alumni. I was also thinking that if Maurice Stovall was available we could pick him up, mainly because he would give us a receiver that was over 6'0".

I just thought this would be interesting because we all B word about the first round but hardly ever look beyond.

I love Uncle Mo! Mark my words, I don't get excited about just anyone that graduates from here, but Stovall is a perfect recoever for our system. His 40 time is great on paper but he has game speed. He is a great leaper with size (6'6), something we don't have and need in the redzone. He has great hands. Route running is decent, he would be our #3 for sure, he's clutch and has worked in a pro-type system here under Coach Weiss. I like him more than I liked Givens when he was here and he's done pretty well. That's my 2 cents, I eagerly await all of you telling me I'm wrong for offering an opinion. Though I do admit that I have fallen victim to the increasingly negative posting on this board myself. Let's try and turn things around and be more positive guys.
