and Hyatt continues to fall I wonder why.
He is not falling, he was never a top 2 rd player. He has speed and no route running skills.

Are there any decent OT's left? I'm afraid our crying need for multiple upgrades on our OL will go unheeded.

I believe he was in the green room last night (no idea who told him that was a good idea) and he's still upset about it.

Ok so Im like many of us Bills Mafians. I HATE the thought that we traded up unnecessarily for a pick Beane decided to make in earlier drafts. Welp here we are again, another draft, another trade up in the first. Some of Beane's previous trade ups were understandable while many others were highly questionable. FOR THIS SPECIFIC TRADE UP, do you feel Beane was completely justified? Even if you believe the Cowboys would have indeed selected Kincaid and for us to get him, trading up was necessary. If you dont feel the pick was worth the sacrifice, STILL VOTE NO. So my polling question here is, DO YOU FEEL THE TRADE UP IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE 2023 DRAFT WAS WORTH IT? Put your current opinion on the matter on the record RIGHT NOW!
Yes, the difference in value was 40 pts, our 4th rounder was worth 42 pts. We wanted a specific player, the team before us was long attached to the player. We made a move and drafted the player we wanted. Why don't you just add more instructions to this poll and tell everyone to vote not. Or better yet, just remove the option to vote yes. The question is valid, your attempt to get everyone to agree with you is not great.

Where did I say we would regret it? All I said was Mayer > Kincaid.
Your schtick is getting old. There's a difference between stating your position and running around trying to dog anyone who disagrees with you. Confronted with stats? Those don't count because they don't match my narrative.

McAfee just posts clips from longer interviews. I haven't watched it yet but it must be somewhere on the Draft Spectacular live stream.

Sigh
I liked Mayer the most too obviously. But his skillset is just a better version of Knox, good blocker with better hands than Knox, but has good, not elite hands. Kincaid gives a different version of the same position with Elite hands and his blocking is good when he's on the move but he's not an inline blocker. Two different skill sets. Would be like saying we should draft a Will guy at LB because Edmunds left, that's what we have Milano for.

Boston Connor asked the question "are you trading for Dhop"

I value Marino's opinion more than those of you poo pooing the pick.

I liked Mayer better. But hey, i’ll be a huge Kincaid fan now for sure.
Mayer is more the prototype. bigger guy, probably not quite as fast. I guess if the Bills are looking for the next Kelce, this guy has a better chance than Mayer.
Mayer is a much better blocker but athletically a little more limited and Kincaid has better hands. Knox was strictly an in-line blocker in college and can break out for some big plays and get open in the endzone. Knox will be the Y, take advantage of mismatches and get his catches while Kincaid will be the F (as per Beane on McAfee). What is F? F is a move tight end. Here's an article about it for those of you unfamiliar. F is basically a large slot receiver who gets moved around the field to create mismatches.

Jumping Dallas. Jerry Jones sad. Bills offense much more dangerous. Definitely worth it.
And just because I'm sure no one has noticed. Yawning Frog hates the pick.

moving up 2 spot was 40 points - our 4th rounder is worth 42. The trade was in line with the value of the move.

Beane was on McAfee and they asked him if he had been in talks on Hopkins and he flat out said they weren't pursuing him.

Paying one TE $13M and spending a 1st and a 4th on another? I don't get it. WRs and OT are much bigger needs. Harrison was there.
At least we didn't go defense.
You realize that TEs can catch the ball right? Kincaid is better than most of the WRs in this draft and we now have immediate mismatches when putting him and Knox out together. I've been hoping for more 12 personnel packages!

Tell your hubby that Kincaid is more athletic and that's coming from someone who loves Mayer

Absolutely thrilled with this pick. All of you bitching about not drafting a 3ft tall slot receiver - TEs are safety blankets too and this one can help with the OL blocking

Giants gonna take a TE, that's why they would trade up to stop Dallas from moving up. I could see Mayer here
