  1. Agreed. Like it or not, Williams has been getting better and better. I have no problem with him playing RT or LG, either way I see him soon becoming a great player at either position.
  2. Hey Sue, I admit I bashed Teague quite a bit in the past but he has played very well this year. You can even ask some of the offensive line gurus on this very board. He and Mike Williams both are tied as most improved OLinemen in my opinion.
  3. by switching to Geico. Vincent and Teague both practiced today. We are getting healthier people. Despite al the Teague bashing this offseason, he has played really good this year. I'm not even sure center is a position of need anymore as a matter of fact. If Williams stays at tackle, I think only the left side needs to be upgraded.
  4. I'm not against it at all myself. In the early 90's it was go big on the outside and more athletic on the inside. Now DT's are huge and it's mostly speedrusher's at end. There are some guards out there making some big money RIGHT NOW because of this( Thomas on the Skins, Larry Allen, Damian Woody to name a few ) so sorry, the Mike Williams makes to much money to play guard argument just doesn't hold up anymore. You can still say he was drafted to high to play guard, but not overpaid if he plays at a Pro Bowl level there, which is very possible.
  5. They'll probably keep Vilma in the middle and put Cowart on the weakside. I'm not too worried about him either.
  6. I'm leaning towards JP or Willis. Evans just hasn't been consistent enough for me, though he will probably end up being a great player. Obviously, JP hasn't even played yet so he is even more unknown. Damn, I don't know what direction to go.
  7. You know what, if they would have let McGahee choose #32 like he wanted, I would definitely choose that one. I like that number, regardless of what happened with the last owner of it.
  8. I think if the weather is like last weeks game, we win. If it's a nice day weather wise though, we lose. The Jets have a better passing game than us so if they can throw the ball, it doesn't look good for the good guys.
  9. Oh, I think I'm an XL Pasta Joe. I'm 5'11 and 203lbs. I'm in pretty decent shape so it's not all gut weight(35 inch waist). I am still working to get my waist to 33 inches. Does that fit the XL size?
  10. That sucks Pasta Joe. It would suck even harder if I bought a Losman jersey and he turns out to be a bust. But, you gotta BILLieve............
  11. I already listed Losman as one of my darkhorses. I didn't include them in my first post but Fletcher and Evans are in the mix as well. #83...............ah, the memories.
  12. It will be a home jersey of either Moulds, McGahee, or Spikes. If Losman was healthy and played a little so far and played well, I would probably go that direction to be a little different. Since he is too unknown as to how good he will be at this point, I'll probably go with the first three. I know McGahee is still just getting started, but he has shown enough flashes especially in his all around game to merit top 3 choice by me. Help me out a little everyone if it's not too much trouble.
  13. You know, before the season I like many hoped for a bigger player at center. But, after looking at most teams centers, Teague is actually one of the bigger centers in the league and has played pretty darn good this year. I wouldn't mind if somehow we got a ProBowl center to come here, but I am more concerned about the tackle positions if MW was to move to LG this offseason. I think the Dylan McFarland as a starter talk is just plain silly, so we need two starting tackles if this happens. Jennings is 90% likely to leave, so there is work to be done. If J. Peters makes progree as a T, he could be a very good option at FT, leaving only LT as a big, gaping hole. I think Teague stays right where he is.
  14. Anyways, regarding Teague, the only two positions for him even being worth talked about at should be center of left tackle. Either guard spot or right tackle he would simply not hold up. You need a drive blocker at RT and the DT's in todays game are simply way too big for him one on one at guard.
  15. I guess the entire top 5 were busts then. I wouldn't call any of them, MAYBE Carr, franchise guys. None have made the Pro Bowl either.
  16. Because he isn't a bust. He just shouldn't of been drafted before McKinney.
  17. I thought Tucker was the best candidate before the season at LG. It could still very well happen Simon.
  18. Just wondering what some of you guys think on this topic. I personally can't decide. I think Teague gets to the 2nd level better but Tucker is a little more stout. This isn't a huge deal but should be interesting................
  19. I'm all for it man. Along with many here, I want a top level guy like Pace or Jones on this team so bad, but even if management took a shot at one of them, we don't have a #1 pick if we try for a franchised guy. Even if we are willing to shell out the cash, it's going to be extremely difficult to get a top Olineman in free agency. We may have to just go after Abraham a hope we beat everyone 10-6.
  20. Probably the Looney Bin. This team can drive you &%$*& crazy
  21. Agreed. When it comes to the OLine and the Buffalo Bills, you gotta take some chances. He is proven when healthy, so if we can afford to do it, take a chance.
  22. We wouldn't of had that #1 pick last year if we had Peerless.
  23. Jennings played and I expect him to have a much better game vs. Abraham this time around. I know people don't want to hear it, but Jennings was playing with lingering effects from his concussion. Abraham is very good, but I don't expect him to take over the game this time. If we are unable to get a top LT in free agency, we should throw that cash towards Abraham. We get better while a division opponent gets weaker. People will say, but Schobel plays RE. Who cares, they can take turns rotating on each side, with Kelsay providing an up and coming high motor guy( which we all love so much ) giving us a relentless rotation. Our defense would be complete. As of now, our defense is totally exposed when we play any team with an average or better OLine. This would turn the tide.
  24. I've checked Bills Daily, BB.com, and BillsZone and can't find anything on a Edwards contract extension, only his tender offer for only this year that he signed. Help me out Wraith, I gots ta know for sure.
