  1. Maybe Edwards is the next Javon Walker, there is only ONE Randy Moss, and his hamstring hurts.
  2. Trey Teague is not a top center in the league. Duh! We know this. But, he is pretty good and you don't bring in a center just to bring in a center unless he has Mawai-like potential. We have way bigger fish to fry..............
  3. do we bring in another reciever? I'm not talking about someone with our first draft pick or our primary free agent target, just someone who can actually contribute. I wouldn't mind a tall (6'3 or taller) guy who can jump who would be good on 3rd down and in the red zone. Since it seems we'll never join the modern NFL and bring in a big play TE, this wouldn't be a bad idea with like a 4th round pick or mid level free agent. How did David Givens last until the 6th round? The dude is huge!
  4. The only thing I'd like to add is I don't think Ricky Williams will play next year, even if he wants to. He will have to serve some sort of suspension first so I don't see anybody really going out of their way to make a play for him. I would like to know more about this situation if anybody has any FACTS. I'm just guessing about the suspension thing but it does make sense.
  5. Nobody is putting Drew down as a person! Why does somebody always have to bring up his character. WE KNOW HE IS A GREAT GUY! But on that football field last night the guy GAVE UP. You could see it in the second quarter. Ready or not, it's Losman time.
  6. I'd like to see what happens with a full week of practice and the start. Sure, there may be a couple goofy plays, but I bet the kid shows some flashes as well.
  7. Not only should JP start, Bledsoe should retire. By the second quarter, I could tell the man was defeated. That was a bad feeling. Even though Drew has improved in some areas, it's time to hang it up. Get JP some experiece, and hopefully Drew retires too. Even if JP proves worthy, we will need money from Bledsoe's contract to get at least one free agent Olineman and one pass rusher. If this at the very least is not accomplished this offseason, don't bother even dreaming we'll catch up with the Patriots. In the draft guess what? Go Oline some more. Get some guys who can get some serious movement up front.
  8. I know the board loves Marcus Price, but he is what he is, a back up flip tackle. Over the course of a 16 game season, he wouldn't be as highly thought of around here. I could live with him as a starting RT, but no way do I want him protecting the blind side for a full 16 games. I doubt Jennings stays, so this is a legit problem. I know, I know, Jennings doesn't ever play a full 16 games anyways, we know this. I don't know what will happen, but Marcus Price or Dylan McFarland are not the solution at left tackle.
  9. I wouldn't mind Gray throwing the defense the Giants used in SuperBowl 25 for a few play here and there, as long as the corners are right up in the recievers faces.
  10. For real, if you paid 50$ to see him YOU ARE A F@$%^$# LOSER!
  11. Career nickle back but a very good one. He's been in the league a season and a half, we'll have a better idea in about that much more time..........
  12. You also gotta remember all those RB's are free agents, and all will command 5 million plus per year. Henry will be cheap for at least one more year. As for the Wilson won't deal with Davis thing, I think he would. I can't see how Henry could really burn us outside the division, so who cares unless he rushes for over 2,000 yards, which let's be realistic, will not happen.
  13. Don't foget the Texans Kevbeau. Are they truly sold on Domanick Davis? Travis could be a missing ingredient for a team like the Texans. Also, me too JohnFromHemet, I was keeping my eye on Pearson as well. I think Micheal Munoz could be this drafts Mike Pearson.............
  14. McKenzie would be great if we lost Jennings. Abraham is gonna be looking for a Kearse-like contract and I don't think I'd give him one. McKenzie is a solid player who may not break the bank.
  15. We could tear the Jets a new one in free agency if we play our cards right! They got some guys who would help us tremendously.
  16. We may just be best off keeping two seconds Steve. The second round can usually still be a gold mine for top centers, guards, and corners and safetys who have high upside. Once in a while you can even find a Marvel Smith or Mike Pearson at tackle.
  17. OK, put this in front of you: We don't have Willis McGahee, but we have all our picks, 1-7, would you trade your 2nd round pick for him? I probably would, unless a quality back happened to be available. We'll just have to wait and see what other teams will need......................
  18. If we get 2 seconds, one of those picks better go towards the Oline. You always draft quality on the Oline whenever possible. It's just too hard to get a guy in free agency on a consistent basis. It would be wise.................
  19. Thanks, but I did read the article earlier today. I was only wondering about a confirmation on todays test. Something like, " after further test today Mike Williams will be just fine and will be practicing with the team on Wednesday" would be just great!
  20. Just don't let it happen again OnTheRocks! I've been thinking all along we'll get a 2nd, 3rd at the worst. Actually though, If I'm not offered at least a 2nd I'd keep him as a back up, unless he refused to play or something like that.
  21. Hopefully he was just knocked out like in a boxing match. Those neck injuries can be very dangerous. Hope you get better Mike!
  22. OK the guy is a great punter we all know that. But he is a PUNTER. Let's not get out of hand here.
