  1. I understand that. I'm just going by what I had read. I am far more interested in a Boba Fett movie than Obi Wan. How was Chewbacca portrayed as an imbecile? That scene with Lando was awkward. I didn't get it at all. Unless it was just the droid's database that he was concerned about, which proved to be helpful. Still....bizarre scene.
  2. I have to agree. I went into seeing this movie with modest expectations. The changing of director while it was still filming made me nervous. Then the rumors that it would be pushed back to December. Now that I've seen it, I enjoyed it very much. This was a fine addition into the Star Wars universe. The movie was a bit slow at the start, but it really kicked in as it went on. Donald Glover really stole the show as Lando, good roles by Woody Harrelson & Paul Bettany as well. Alden Ehrenreich did a fine job too. Then of course there is that one scene late in the movie that comes out of nowhere. You know what I'm talking about. Well played. From what I have read, they want to make more Solo movies. I say, Go for it!
  3. My favorite resource is by watching the games during the season.
  4. Seeing "Solo" tomorrow night. Aside from that, staying home all weekend. Indy 500 on Sunday, and my uncle will be coming over to visit. Very low key.
  5. The difference would be that Hyde had better production with the Packers than Poyer did with the Browns.
  6. Me too. I don't cry, I get enraged, then depressed. Which is probably worse. I just HATE losing.
  7. So you thought they had a chance, but did not expect it. I too loved the signing of Micah Hyde. I did like Tre'Davious White a lot, not as the top corner in the draft, but I also was not thinking cornerback with our first pick. For that matter, I wasn't expecting us to trade down 17 spots in the first round, as much as I enjoyed it. Are you less optimistic about this year's team than last year's team?
  8. Here is your answer... https://www.nhl.com/sharks/news/sharks-re-sign-forward-evander-kane-to-a-seven-year-contract/c-298762900
  9. Living in San Jose, I can also state that Levi's Stadium isn't all that special. They do have a neat museum dedicated to the history of the 49'ers, and the stadium is used for other events as well. For football, it is far better than Candlestick Park was.
  10. I finally saw "A Quiet Place". I thought it was good, not great. I agree with you about the atmosphere. It was a decent thriller. I thought the final shot was a bit silly. The creatures were a rip off from "Stranger Things", so it loses some creativity points there.
  11. OOOooooo.....Very competitive! I'm on the edge of my seat! Just make the damn announcement!
  12. What!? They said they would announce both drafts at the meetings! you Goodell!
  13. No announcement for the 2020 Draft?
  14. Yes, it's ridiculous how many threads we get about players being released. Some of them are not even worth it. However, signing this player, makes a lot of sense.
  15. Does this do anything for Connor Cook's confidence?
  16. So are you saying that you expected Jauron Ball to end the drought last year?
  17. I thought it was on par with the first movie. Ryan Reynolds will probably never find a better role to play than this character. Those post credit scenes were hilarious.
