  1. Gandy will be fine, at least until Peters takes over next year. And I'd favor seeing Preston being the starting center and possibly having Teague move to LG if Anderson is as much of a liability in pass protection as he was advertised to be. Teague HAS to be better at OG than center, where he won't have to snap the ball and then get into position. Baby steps with JP. Screens, play-action, roll-outs, short, safe passes. Lots of Willis, lots of defense, lots of ST's. Good to hear. Fletch was on Sirius and said that Edwards is actually BIGGER than Pat was. Now I've seen their listed weights and noticed Edwards was heavier, but I didn't believe it. Now I do. I've heard Stamer's looking good. Haggan as well. Crowell not so much. I'm disappointed with Geisinger. Several scouts called him a prototypical OG. But since he played OT in college, he may need some time to adjust to OG in the NFL and/or it may be a strength thing.
  2. Clumpy assures us that the Bills WILL have the cap room to tag Clements.
  3. JP's going up against a great defense. It will only make him better.
  4. Didn't he get paid something like $60M? That's a large chunk of change to have to return, if not pay on top for breach of contract.
  5. A report from today said that both Campbell and Euhus look to be 100%, or very close to it, judging by their cutting. It also said that both blocked well and that it might be a close battle to see who is #1.
  6. Conversely, several posters on other websites have said he looked good, and the coaches (according to a guy who has access to them) like him. And it's still just a few days into camp.
  7. I hope no one WAS expecting him to be an upgrade. I'd be happy if he were just a replacement.
  8. Repoprts of Gandy's demise have been greatly exaggerated. According to Paul Hamilton from WGR, the coaches like him. But he'll have a chance to prove himself against the Packers, going up against the likes of KGB.
  9. Uh, that wasn't the point of the thread. It was to say his INT% was low, meaning he made good decisions in college despite an extreme lack of talent around him. And I'll take past success into consideration when there's nothing else to go on except for a few bad moments in a disappointing rookie year.
  10. If he holds out, the Steelers' passing game goes into the toilet. As it stood, they had just Ward and Randle el and not much else besides promising rookie TE Heath Miller. Without Ward and an aging Bettis, it's NOT going to be pretty.
  11. Yeah, but Reed ALWAYS looks good in camp. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me thrice...
  12. And another (post #8): http://boards.buffalobills.com/forums/inde...=0entry962196
  13. And still more (See July 31st blurb): http://www.buffalobills.com/blog/?topic_id=11
  14. And the capital of Nebraska is Lincoln!
  15. Yeah, they definitely have a smilie for any occasion over there.
  16. Even more that says that Gandy isn't nearly as bad as the reports HERE say he is: http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php?t=76926
  17. True, but even then I would expect them (and the above posters are some of the smarter ones there) to say Gandy was "alright" and not "impressive." I guess we'll find out for sure in the Packers scrimmage, where Gandy has to go up against KGB!
  18. BTW, here they are: http://boards.buffalobills.com/forums/inde...=0entry961949 http://boards.buffalobills.com/forums/inde...showtopic=64680 It's just amazing to me that several people can watch the same player and get TOTAL opposite impressions.
  19. Actually make that 2 observers who have said he's looking good or is the best looking O-lineman.
  20. I don't know, but a guy over on BB.com says that Gandy has been impressing him AND the coaches. Not all-world mind-you, but decent. Take the reports for what they're worth, but the fact that you're not seeing McNally berating Gandy while he's doing it to other linemen says something to me.
  21. Thanks. Great job. How was Tony Brown today? Only a small mention of him.
  22. He's playing LT. Someone said he was the best looking LT out there today. Don't know who he faced and what-not, so that's all I can give you.
  23. You beat me to it. Oh and let me add
  24. LOL! Thanks for the laugh man, I needed that!
