  1. It's all just gab. I find it highly unlikely that the US would ever do such a thing....
  2. It's ok. I give them a pass. All you have to do is repeat..... 62-7......62-7........62-7........Bye, bye Danny-boy!
  3. Except when you trip over your own feet with no one around you. Just kidding, I am sad that it didn't work out, you can never have enough HBs...
  4. no one drives a hybrid?
  5. yep, see my post above...
  6. Surprisingly, my employer, a major US tobacco company, actually invests in these commercials! I thought the one about the execs trying to sell cigs as candy was farfetched. But actually, has anyone ever seen RJR's shameless packaging for its "flavored cigs". Talk about putting it in a kid-friendly package... My vote goes to that creepy guy for six flags or whatever...
  7. I saw more cell phones at that place than the mall...
  8. Why would they do that? Then they can't say, "The Americans are attacking us! Evil, capatilist infidels!...
  9. Yep. It was called the Buran I believe. It launched, made one orbit of earth and was landed by remote, as CTM indicated. That was it. It was nearly exactly the same as our shuttle, but I liked thier launch system better. There was actually a Buran prototype up for sale a few years ago, but I have heard that that was a hoax, maybe by a radio station? However, It is a fact that one has been converted into a diner in Russia...
  10. I still don't think that many women have the power to hit out of the rough on PGA courses. Time will tell, and I guess we will see....
  11. I tend to over-generalize at times. But the point is that the management of NASA nearly reaches the criminal level of negligence. In fact, what happened to Columbia nearly happened in 1998 to Atlantis. I have seem photos with holes the size of your fist in the RCC edge of the wing...
  12. He kind of looks like Forrest Gump up there...
  13. I was kind of expecting a lot of that psuedo-falsetto he does. Thankfully, I didn't hear many of those. Everytime I hear it, makes me want to wring necks...
  14. Wow! I knew the guy was rabid anti-Bush, but that is a little too much...
  15. You are correct, the bureaucrats are the problem. In 1986, the engineers at Thikol were screaming that you couldn't launch the shuttle at those freezing temperatures, and they ok'd the launch anyways, because Columbia flew two weeks before without incident...
  16. I assume from your title that MM actually refered to the insurgents as minute men?
  17. Exactly what I have been saying for years. NASA has an AWESOME unmanned probe program, but they bite the big one when it comes to manned flight, especially that flying death trap and wussy space station...
  18. I will preface this by saying that I don't like DMB's music at all. That being said, I went to the VA beach show last month with my sister. I will concur that this is one of the absolute worst venues out there. Impossible to get to, and to get out of. My sister said that most of the show was new material. Five songs in a row, as a matter of fact. I only recognized two or three, but I'm not a fan. Definitely lots of teenie-boppers there. It was definitely a different, more laid back crowd than you would find at an Ozzfest show. The band was alright. I think they need a new bass guitar player, but the drummer and the sax player were awesome. Didn't care too much for the crack-head looking dude playing the fiddle. Seemed like there was too much of that. To me, each song was like this: 1. Dave starts by playing some little riff really softly. 2. Band kicks in, plays even tempo for a while. 3. Band plays harder, louder, Dave screams louder, reaching a crescendo. 4. Repeat. Wasn't the best concert I ever saw, but it was certainly not the worst...
  19. Not sure if you are using sarcasm or not, but Tiger actually lifts weights. Not that there is anything wrong with little twig arms, I have them myself I might add, and it's hard to punch out. Imagine if she was in the rough at Sawgrass... Personally, I would like to see her go and dominate the amatures first, then play the guys some more. Nothing breeds success in golf like winning. It would help her confidence greatly, and could be the difference between making a PGA event cut, and what happend to her last weekend...
  20. Except, she has shown no poise at all to date. Every single time she has been in a position to win something, she comes up small. Has she even won anything yet? I will agree that she has the potential to dominate the LPGA, but she more than likely won't win on the PGA tour. No way she can hit the ball out of the men's rough with those little twig arms...
  21. Actually, they will be surprised when they don't make it to heaven. In fact, they will be very surprised to find themselves in hell, along with all the 9/11 murderers, enjoying the reaming they will get from the spine-weinered minions of satan...
  22. And what about Lou Reed's "Sweet Jane"?
  23. You forgot the ever popular "Ballad of Jane" by L.A. Guns....
  24. I believe the CTM is correct. They targeted at least two of his personal residences. Killed a number of his sons too....
  25. My brother talked some bartender out of a set of them. He moved in with me shortly after. However, the glasses mysteriously dissapeared during his move-out...
