  8. Congrats to son... Mom could have been a potential Darwin (or posse member...just kidding i've renovated my glass house to cinder block!!!) candidate... ALBION, N.Y. (AP) -- When Diane Viza got into an argument with her son over whether she was sober, she drove to the local police station asked to take a sobriety test. That turned out to be a bad idea. The 45-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated after she showed up at the police station in the Orleans County village of Albion and asked officers to administer a breath test. The unusual request came after she had picked up her son at a friend's house and got into an argument with him because he suspected she had been drinking. Viza is due back in village court on April 12th. AP
  9. LA Times That the NFL would discuss playing a regular-season game in Mexico is no surprise, considering commissioner Paul Tagliabue's desire to make the sport even more international. That the Arizona Cardinals would be the host also is no shock, with the Cardinals routinely drawing small crowds in their current home on the Arizona State campus. If such an experiment works, where else might Tagliabue propose in-season games? Toronto, which has the 53,000-seat Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome) is a potential choice because the Bills have a strong following in Ontario and they don't regularly sell out home contests. Vancouver might be another choice, but the Seahawks do draw well at home. Writer obviously researched this one well

Brolin, the son of actor James Brolin and the star of TV's "Mister Sterling," married Lane, the Oscar-nominated star of "Unfaithful," in a private ceremony in August. It was a second marriage for both. Brolin will be back in court on Jan. 13.
