Funniest thing I read today was Phillips was on IR with a wrist injury this year. It was destiny for him to be back with the Bills this season.

Every CB outside of Taron Johnson, healthy Tre White, and Douglas has been part of a rotation under McDermott at some point with the Bills. They’ve done some things at safety when Poyer or Hyde are out as well. For whatever reason Edwards got zero opportunity, even with them playing a lot of dime looks this year. Cam Lewis is that extra DB.

Wait until Friday. This can still be an IR.

Did it a lot at CB over the years.

Not that I studied his game vs Miami but…

Hamlin didn’t do anything to lose his job, but if it were a true fair competition then Edwards would’ve gotten some reps during games. He didn’t. Hamlin was treated like the clear number 1 safety from the start, never leaving the field. We’ve seen McDermott rotate CBs in a competition, he didn’t do it here. I can understand why he wouldn’t be happy. He said all the right things up until the season started. Maybe when the season started and he wasn’t playing he decided he wanted out and that’s when the bad attitude started.

Thought I saw Diggs was hurt.

When? He missed all offseason and preseason.

Ugh McDermott still doesn’t have an update on Keon, won’t practice.

Did he get a fair shot in your eyes? I don’t remember him ever rotating with Hamlin. Even if he was told to compete, he never got an opportunity.

Joking aside, they’ll definitely help short term. Ive always liked Phillips in Buffalo but he’s so unreliable health wise. I was excited the last time they signed him.

Remember when the Eagles signed Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph on the same day to fix their run defense and make a Super Bowl? This is nothing like that.

Phillips will make a couple huge plays and then end up on IR.

Maybe the Bills told him he was starting. Then after the injury he didn’t get his spot.

I bet the Bills would’ve traded a 5th or 6th for a DT up until they saw Jefferson released.

They’ve got to be kidding.

I don’t even count that because we needed Miller vs KC the playoffs before signing him. Beane admitted trading for Von didn’t make sense because he didn’t know if he could sign him.

They really only made a move to get worse today.

So frustrating.

Crap, they’re just going to sign Quentin Jefferson.
