I will certainly back off on calling out the OP specifically. I get it. I certainly didn't mean any disrespect. The intent was some friendly ball busting on what is a really silly post. I can admit I took it too far. Apologies to OP on that front.

It is OK to call a spade a spade without dumbing down the conversation from a very specific set of circumstances and actions to "see, streaming is bad. booo. hissss. Why can't you support your Bills brethren!" I was continuously responding to the thesis of this thread which was "I won't watch because I don't have access. And not only do I not have access. I refuse to get access. I am taking a stand against the man". All of that turned out to be hot air. Fabricated. The guy lives like 20 minutes from either of his two restaurants, where he already pays for Peacock.

You have to see why that deserves some friendly ribbing, right? (Granted, I went too far)

If the thesis of this thread was "I hate all the streaming services I have to pay for" the conversation would be different.

Your shifting of the goal posts from a very specific set of events and actions to a very general "isn't streaming bad" is convenient at best and disingenuous at worst.

Lol, yeah, I am the a hole.

How is it gouging?  They put the product out at a specific price.  It’s at most $7 for a game. I would gladly pay that for every game if that’s all I had to pay.

Gouging is making me pay for 100s of channels I don’t want just to get one channel I do want.

Gouging is making you pay for a streaming service you don’t want just to watch 1 regular season game, when you are already paying for the ticket and prime.

I guess if you don't understand why honest people are pissed that they have to subscribe to a third rate streaming service to watch this game, we don't have much left to discuss.

What is the proper internet message board response for a guy who threatens to miss his first Bills game since before the drought because he won’t pay $6 for a subscription, only to have it turn out that he likely has not 1 but 2 subscriptions for the product. A product that by the way, he’ll likely be showing for a profit at not one, but two different bar/restaurants.

And what I’m really curious about now is, does this guy have a Peacock Sports Pass (for business) or is he just using the standard consumer version?Based on a total lack of self awareness I’d be willing to put a good amount of cash on he’s using a single consumer license at both establishments.

When you lay it all out it’s hard to believe that this is even true. I’m not sure this guys even a real person.

Maybe ignore it? As a fellow Bills fan who has already said that he agrees that it's a racket, why lead the charge to 18 pages of dumping on the guy? Seems like a crappy way to treat one of our own,  no?

I’ve tagged him a few times. As the thread picks up steam it’s clear a lot of people are jumping in without checking.

Waiting for the OP to log back in and delete the thread out of embarrassment.

Hopefully he can provide us with a tagline so this thread can live in TBD infamy. It has a real “high level business meeting” vibe to it.

The high level business guy was a delta bravo and deserved to be piled on.  This is something entirely different, and frankly its kinda gross.

Billsy was right that much of the data was not verified to be from Hunter

Also, that there was data added *after* Hunter lost possession of the laptop just as shady actors like Rudy were shopping it around to try to claim that Joe Biden was involved (despite lack of any serious evidence) means that the info the laptop should be treated with a heavy dose of skepticism.

Originally, I had been concerned that someone might create fake business records regarding Joe, but given what we’ve seen from those leading the impeachment effort, they are probably far too dumb to pull that off.

    Gross, Goose.

Where is the nuance if everything he has been accused of is accurate? Truly you agree everything said about him is true and you argued the point as if you had a differing view. What was the point of getting involved if you were  just going  to admit I am right and Billsy was wrong?

I believe that Hunter was a drug addict who hired prostitutes and traded on his dad’s name.

Even though he seems to have mostly cleaned up his act, I will not be voting for Hunter Biden for president next year.

Is this your nuanced way of saying that you can't answer his question?

Brisket.  Low and slow.  Use post oak with an offset firebox or the easy way with a pellet grill.

Trim the fat to a 1/4" and hit it with lots of course salt and pepper.  Smoke for 12 to 14 hours.  When it hits 203 degrees remove it, wrap it in a towel and place in a cooler so it can rest for at least an hour.

So start the cook around 9pm Saturday night.

The guy makes awesome rubs as well.

Id add to this that you need to get a whole packer brisket, not just the flat from the grocery store, otherwise it'll dry out on you.  Look for a uniform thickness if you can, and don't be afraid to get the choice cut over prime, it's not worth the extra spend and can get too tender.

Assuming you are using butcher paper?  For the rest I usually line my cooler bottom with cardboard, insert the brisket, then put a layer of cardboard over the papered brisket.   That way you don't get murdered by your wife for beef grease stains on your towels.  Also fun to dry off with a brisket scented towel...

It has never been held on a Valentine's Day before. It was held on February 13 in 2022, a day before Valentine's Day. Women complained a lot on Tik Tok, apparently:

People are not happy after learning the 2022 Super Bowl will take place Valentine’s Day weekend

“I wanna talk to whoever decided that Super Bowl Sunday was on Valentine’s Day weekend because they are def single,” one woman named Elena, who goes by the username @elenaa_l10, wrote on TikTok, as she mouthed: “What’s going on?”:

In another video from a woman named Ava, who goes by the username @definetlynotava8, she wrote: “To the person that moved the Super Bowl to Valentine’s Day weekend… I don’t think you understand how much you ruined.”

There are lots more in the link above. I never understood why this day was such a big deal.

BS holiday created by hallmark and propped up by women to get free stuff.

One more rant.  Just like Fran Stalinovskovichdavidovitshky is the deadliest woman in the world with a dodgeball, Josh Allen is the deadliest QB in the NFL rolling to his right.  Why not have a couple of designed rollouts?  Worst that happens is a throw OB if nobody’s open.

    I can see it now:

1st and 10, Shnowman reports as tackle eligible. Josh rolls right, ignores a wide open Davis, sees Diggs triple teamed.

Throws across his body to a wide open Dawkins!

2nd down and 7, because Shnowman is built like a snowman.

The refs were on the Bills’ side so let’s all have a big laugh about it.  No favoritism on this site.. none at all.  There are multiple pics of players lining up offside this past week and there was no flag.  This was a tainted win.  It’s all laughs until the Bills are on the other side of this sort of thing.  Then all the crying starts.  You guys cry and cry about rigged this, rigged that yet you’ll take every bad call and laugh about it as long as it’s in your favor.  What a shock!  Lol

    Lighten up, Frances.

They're called counterperspectives and unless they're way off base, why the ad hominem at large?

This should be a place for discussion and exchange of ideas.  If we were all that, then we'd all be talking about how we'd only need to go 2-2 to clinch the 1st Seed, which frankly, given the talent that we have, contrasted with every other team in the AFC this season, is where we should be.

I'm still chuckling at MLB's (OP) "... wail and moan ..." comment, in good nature, truly, imagining some Bills fans at home actually wailing and moaning.  LOL

But leaning a little more seriously, talk about "wailing and moaning," we wail and moan, and I'm not talking about those that you label as "negative types," largely talking about the others, but we "wail and moan" over our "inadequate" receiving corps of Diggs, Davis, Shakir, and Kincaid, but imagine if we had a 34-year old Kelce, Rashee Rice, Justin Watson, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling for a moment.  Imagine the complaints coming in then.  We have better WRs than any other AFC team besides possibly Cincy and that's even debatable.

At the end of the day we're a 7-6 team currently "seeded" 11th and incontention for the 6th and 7th seeds with 6 total teams, none of which we have the tiebreaker over.  There isn't a team behind us that has a realistic shot if even a mathematical one at making the playoffs.  Much like 2017, we need help from other teams, or at least a slump by most of them.  Unlike 2017 when we were the worst team of any in playoff contention, we're arguably the best team in the AFC this season on paper.

Do we have more talent than all of them?  Absolutely, and with Burrow being out for the Bengals.  So why are we 7-6 along with the other five then?  It's a fair question.  To label everyone that sees that and acknowledges it as some sort of negative type is simply not fair to them, do as one may there.

Every single one of the teams that we're in contention with also has the ability to go between 3-1 and 1-3, Denver and Houston in particular on the high side and possibly 4-0 with Denver being the one of the hottest teams in the league right now at what, 5-1 their last 6 I think.

We play Dallas next, which is arguably the most balanced team in the league from O to D and pass-to-run alongside San Fran.

Then we're @ the Chargers where we haven't won since the '70s under Knox, and where we'll be playing a game starting at 11 p.m. our time.  The last time we had time-zone or jetlag issues we didn't fare so well.

Then vs. New England, but most of us will be on pins and needles going into that game, don't you think, considering the way that they played us in the first game and given Belichick v. McChoke-in-Big-Moments?

Then @ Miami to finish the season, which will be like a playoff game.  Need we be reminded of last season where they nearly beat us with Skylar Thompson who hasn't taken a snap this season, or them nearly beating us at the end of the season, both games in Buffalo, with Tua.

Nothing is a given at this point.  Everyone's stunned the Miami lost to Tennessee.  If they manage to lose to the Jets while we beat the Cowboys, incredibly and against all odds the division is back in play, particularly with them hosting Dallas and @ Baltimore after that before they play us.  Our game could very well decide the division, which many thought to not even be possible if that happens.

Your association between contrarian comments and people being negative is misplaced imo.

This team is far from having an identity of stepping up in the biggest of games.  Factor in that our point-differential over our last 9 games is a mere +26, and -6 if we do not include the Jets game at home.  The combined record of teams that we've faced is 59-58.  On paper we're not all that different than the teams that we're competing with for those last 6th and 7th seeds.

There's nothing wrong with being critical of your team, particularly when it's 7-6 but should have been 11-2, or at least 10-3 and in the driver's seat, and we haven't even mentioned having Allen yet.  Anyone being critical and concerned about playing a team that's playing better than us, a team that already beat us, a team that we have never beaten on their turf in over 40 years and in a 3-hour different time zone with a game starting at 11 p.m. our time, and @ Miami is hardly being negative.

And lest we forget, absolutely nothing that anyone here says or does makes one iota of a difference in how our team plays.

I guess I don't understand the hostilities towards fellow Bills fans in simply discussing varying aspects of our team.

That's a lot of words in response to a 2 sentence post that wasn't even directed at you. Feeling guilty?

    The facts are also this:

    1.  Over 60% winning percentage.

    2. Took a joke of a franchise and culture and turned it into a perennial contender.

    3. Wins at least 1 playoff game the last 3 seasons in a row.

    4. Drafted Josh Allen instead of Josh Rosen and was in charge while he went from raw, Wyoming Josh, to a top 5 QB in the league (top 2 IMO).

    5. Developed Hyde and Poyer into All-Pro Safeties.

    6. Drafted and Developed White and Milano into All-Pros.

    7. Drafted and developed one of the best nickle CBs in the game, Johnson.

    8. Attracted high value FA including Miller, Floyd, Jones.

    9. Has improved in analytical usage, most notably, going for it on 4th downs.

    10. We are in every single game are rarely are beat by more than one score.

    11. Took the Bills to the Playoffs with Tyrod freaking Taylor as our QB.

Dude needs to learn how to better utilize his challenges and timeouts, no doubt, but he sure has hell has way more positives than the few negatives you babies always cry about.  I could not care less what Trent Murphy and Quinton Spain type scrubs have to say about a former employer who fired their worthless butts.  Especially when they are too chicken to even put their names to it.

If McD relinquishes the ability to:

*Throw the challenge flag without someone's else's approval

     *Call defensive time outs

*Make any defensive calls after the 2 minute warning

I'd extend him for 5 years.
