It's interesting, I've heard both Josh and McD use coded language like more 'professional' and 'mature' than last year. I don't think he didn't take it seriously last year, but like any rookie I think there's a step/realization to really understand what it takes/means to be great pro - I feel like he gets that now. I'm excited to see him this year

Is it for pelvic soreness?

Fans will have opportunity to purchase items from Highmark stadium

My son and I were joking about this the other day, the thought when the final whistle blows just let the fans go wild and take anything they can. "Hey where'd you get that popcorn machine, soda dispenser machine, and industrial grill in your rec room?" "Oh, I was at the last game at the old Bills stadium" -
We usually try to get there close to when the lots open. They do fill fast, but last year when we got to lot 2 ADA it was already full and they just directed us over to the handicap spaces in the regular Lot 2 next to it, so it was not an issue (not sure if that is a guarantee they always do that) In ADA 2 we usually just hang out for a while after the game til they open Abbot up If you want, when you enter the gate there is staff there with wheelchairs who will take you to your section - you can arrange for them to come and get you after as well (we have our own transport chair for my Dad and have never used them but I've spoken to the staff before on how it works)

Groin is the new wrist

Benford's lower leg is in his groin?
-
Limited groins can lead to pelvic soreness
-
Not exactly the most rigorous drill to make the assessment lol
-
At least Benford is leg and not concussion- which would have been much more alarming to me

How much I hate when "Opposing Fan Coming in Peace!" enters the chat to do nothing but pollute a Bills pre-game thread with endless ramblings on why Bills fans are wrong about their team

Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

Just a quick fluff piece. Never knew Thurman's connection to construction going back to when he was young -
There were some examples for sure, but with all the hundreds of hours of footage there were comparatively few moments like that. I get that thay didn't want to make it the Josh Allen show, but my main point was that blaming the Bills for 'not letting them show any drama' as the reason for it being boring is letting Hard Knocks off the hook a little too easy IMO. They should have had plenty of fun/interesting content that was not dramatic/controversial/sensitive, but seemed intent on the structure of following the fringe player 'will-he-or-won"t he' narrative - instead of just including more entertaining/interesting stuff
-
The one thing I don't get though is they must have had so much content that had nothing to do with drama/controvery/secrets that they chose not to use. They have hundreds of hours of guys mic'ed up - there had to be lots of fun/goofy stuff that wasn't dramatic or controversial - there seemed to be very little of even that. It's kind of amazing to me they didn't really even fully reveal the humor/goofiness of Josh, which is almost hard to do. In this last episode they end up filming parts of other interviews with Brandt and the Bills social media as their content? I still enjoy any Bills content, including this, but think it is a letting them off a bit easy to just say it was boring because the Bills didn't want any drama.

The extended multi-shot, super slo-mo sequence of mixing gatorade broke new ground for sure 😛

Finally some requisite shots of the Falls, but isn't it law you need to pair that with wings being tossed at anchor bar? Guess they like the only two captains they started last year "Head Coach Sean McDermott stated that the team felt a smaller group of captains, supported by a 10-player leadership council, was a better fit for the team's needs."

McD doubling down on no one will ever get to 4 straight SBs again is him calling out the Chiefs this year 😛

Never knew that! -
As a transplanted UNC fan, it was really disheartening to me when the hiring was announced. I believe his success in the NFL was due more to other "factors" than just 'genius'. I saw it as nothing more than a money grab and a way for him to reinflate his ego and try to stay relevant after the NFL closed its doors to him. He doesn't give a sh!t about the school, and I fully expect him to bolt sooner than later if/when things continue to go bad - taking his bag and leaving UNC holding the bag - (or D-bag, if Steve Belichick becomes coach 🤮)

That is interesting - I've wondered about that if they had done any engineering to account for it, first I've seen it mentioned also. Would be cool if true. I have to kind of laugh at language like "Conceptually, the design centers around strength and resilience, adopting Buffalo’s historic architecture and transforming it into a robust and bold form" - I've seen that language about adopting Buffalo's architecture in other PR videos/articles, when in terms of general design it was basically lifted from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and I've wondered what architectural elements they are actually talking about. There is something later that says "The lower exterior, crafted with iron-spot brick, connects with the city’s architectural past and provides a solid base from which the modern form rises" so I guess that's something. Still think they should have incorporated Labbatt Blue silos There is another note "The key goal of the new stadium was to make it a multipurpose venue, the gathering plaza, the Family Circle north entrance, and areas where the Buffalo Bills host games and communities celebrate festivals and events, and to ensure the stadium becomes a focal point for visitors from across the country, symbolizing unity and belonging". I've wondered if they might open it up to weddings in the offseason - think that would prob sell out -

Pretty cool can see how the outer panels create a pattern - aren't just all flat
