  1. and you still cant define nor explain psychometrics, kind of like you dont understand telomeres
  2. i forgot about some of those concepts. like how when parents take an IQ test, it is error filled, but when their kids take the same test, it is error free. So having kids fixes the error of the test.
  3. Lets see, the holcombs arm list of credible sources... 1. wikipedia 2. a movie on electric cars 3. celebrities when do we get to add: 4. The bum fred from the corner of 3rd and madison
  4. sorry to be an optimist, but you could look at it this way (regarding the loss of clements, fletcher, and mcgahee)... 1. Losing clements hurts. sure we have youboty to step in, but he is an unknown. He does, however, have more upside than a 1st rounder, due to his being in the system for a year. 2. How is Spikes - Fletcher - Crowell better than Spikes - Crowell - Ellison? Fletcher is on the decline, and Spikes will in all likelihood be better in '07 compared to '06, due to more recovery time from injury. Crowell should be able to replace the ability of a declining fletcher, at least on the field. 3. McGahee? 990 yards isnt easily replaceable, especially with a vastly improved o-line? thats 62 yards per game. a back that can get a bit over 3 yards per carry, is easily found. 4. D-line - we have the same DL at the end of '06, but have a healthy McCargo. A healthy versus an injured McCargo, is an improvement. 5. Jp/Evans,etc will improve this season, as will our rookies. sure, replacing Clements is tough, but overall, i highly doubt the march 07 bills are significantly worse than the december 06 bills.
  5. :worthy: your stupidity is priceless! I seriously want to thank you for amusing me on a daily basis with your very own brand of super-retard. So now, differences in intelligence are due to error and head injuries? :worthy: http://psych.colorado.edu/~carey/hgss/hgss...lity.intro.html Your inability to distinguish between a population with a distribution and an individual is one of your thousands of downfalls. First off, why do IQ measurements fall off with increasing age? Because IQ is an ok test, but overall is wholely inadequate when determining overall intelligence. Regarding the distribution, try to chew on this. There will be some conclusions you can draw from an IQ distribution. You can say that generally, anyone with an IQ above say 130, will BE MORE LIKELY THAN NOT turn out to be a "productive member of society". But you CANNOT take billy with his 140 IQ and say Billy will be a more productive member than fred because billy has an IQ of 140 and fred has an IQ of 90. Why? Because you cant make assumptions on one individual. Kind of like how you cannot ever, ever, roll a 3.5 on a die.
  6. read up on some of holcombs arm earlier posts. When you need more energy, you just run more power lines.
  7. Falsehoods are declaring that the heritability of intelligence is 80% because intelligence correlation between twins is 80%. (not to mention that mainstream biology states that the heritability of intelligence is 0.6, not 0.8) Falsehoods are claiming that IQ is a complete and accurate assessment of intelligence. Falsehoods are applying heritability to an individual and acting liek it has some type of merit. Falsehoods are the refusal to answer the numerous amounts of questions provided to you. Falsehoods are concluding that environment doesnt affect phenotype. Falsehoods are relying on wikipedia as your only "source". Falsehoods are essentially any idea that pops into that little idiot head of yours.
  8. can you go back in time and give that advice to HA's parents?
  9. 3.5 sesame seeds per square inch of big mac bun
  10. <searches for the part of the post where this concern is addressed:> <no surprise when it is found that it hasnt been addressed, like almost every other question posed to HA>
  11. you claimed that burning plants, which 1) releases carbon dioxide, and 2)destroys the carbon sequestering abilities, was somehow better than burning fossil fuels alone. Also, you forgot GG, ec-bills, syhuang, dave b, coli, and pretty much everyone else who has read one of your posts (with the exception of kurt godel) Now if you'll excuse me, i hafta go. I am working on building a hydro-electric plant in my backyard so i can convert solar energy into electricity.
  12. remember, car ownership heritability will probably drastically increase once a subject reaches the age of 16...now if we could only find the genetic component of why this occurs...
  13. Telomeres, their function, and their degradation are a basic idea in biology. But the fact that an in-bred low life moron like you has heard of them makes me quite pleased to find that mainstream science in fact HAS found its way down to the dregs of society. Apparently our work isnt for naught. Of course, the problem with mainstream reaching those people who dont understand it (aka YOU), is that these people think they are all of a sudden experts on a topic because they read a sci am article and a wikipedia link. These folks (YOU) go on message boards acting like experts and trying to pass pro nazi beliefs and propaganda, all the while completely ignoring the truths of the science that undermines their stance. Then, when called out on their falsehood, these people (again YOU) try to back their way out of the corner by throwing out big words. Finally, these people inevitably just stop answering questions directed them (YOU), because they know they cant, and if they tried, they'd be proven wrong (as has happened to you thousands of times over the past 5 months). They then resort to simply posting their wrong crap repeatedly (YOU) and running around saying "i'm right", like a 5 year old.
  14. Holy sh--. Someone took basic science, strapped on dildo, !@#$ it 40 ways from sunday, finished, and then this post dripped out.
  15. Did you know that eating ice cream and drowning deaths are heritable? They must be, because they are strongly correlated.
  16. 9th grade history, we were given a week to study, and then were given a blank map of africa and had to label all 50 (at that point) countries. 2 points per correctly ID'ed country. At that point i got 50/50, dont think i could even come close now.
  17. I love when its pointed out that he is a moron and he has no clue what he's talking about, his only reply is "robble robble robble, you're a moron, robble robble robble, i'm right, robble, robble, robble, wikipedia, robble robble robble"
  18. Heritability for height will not change, because across a population, it is measured as full grown adult height. Not that your small mind can actually comprehend a concept of this magnitude. Because, according to your assinine logic, you are saying that there is a changing amount of genetics that accounts for your height. Newsflash moron: Genetics dont change over time! (well, aside from a slow degradation of the telomeres, and from some accumulated mutations, both concepts i wont even begin to try to explain to you, seeing how those are more of a basic freshmen level biology concept, and you have yet to pass the first grade proficiency level in your understanding of, well, anything) And again, heritability does not involve a single individual. It is worthless and cannot be used ot describe an individual. You need to grasp your grasp your tiny little brain around this idea, as well.
  19. This gem is priceless. You say that correlation = hertiability and tell ME i dont know what heriability is? :worthy: :worthy:
  20. 10% scored higher. 89 scored lower.
  21. Tom, can you do me a favor here? Please, please, please tell me he didnt just say that heriability changes as a child grows older. Please tell me someone cannot obviously be THIS stupid. Heritability changes? :worthy: Now, the genetic information passed on to you from your parents CHANGES as you get older? I cant believe you said that heritability changes as you get older! Wow. and we have no reached a new level of stupid. This is "special ed" level stupidity from crank yankers. Note to everyone that actually understands genetics: In the above statement, i am ignoring the following 2 conditions that HA fails to understand: 1. Heritability is a measurement of a trait across an entire population of organisms. 2. Heritability has NO, NONE, ZERO effect on any given individual. It has no value and worth, because heritability cannot and is not used to measure a single individual form a given population (But again, over 70+ pages, HA has never once even come close to understanding the differences between a single measurement/data point and a distribution of data)
  22. Most annoying? U2 I dont hate them, and i like a couple of their songs. But mostly they just annoy me and i wish they'd just go away.
  23. FSU got screwed. You're going to take worthless teams such as illinois, Mich St, and Stanford, and leave out air force and FSU? We beat florida, and duke in cameron. Finished 20-11, with an RPI around 40. Had a top 20 SOS. Won 8 conference games, and advanced farther in the ACC tourney than both duke and GT. Only reason we got left out? we went 1-5 when we lost our #2 scorer and starting PG, Toney Douglas. 19-5 with him, 1-5 without him. Including a total screw job vs BC.
  24. I wish i were around in a few hundred to a few thousand years when the current warming trend ends and we kick back into an ice age. I'd flip the bird to all the UN "scientists"
