  1. I really miss it lol...didn't realize just how much I enjoyed it til it was over
  2. Yeah, there is a significant amount of the show that is in the native language...definitely need subtities.
  3. They come up with idea that I've never seen before...much of the show is very creative, and even though they do hit on the potty humor from time to time, it's relatively clean comedy. Often times the punishment for the loser at the end of the show is the best part...if you haven't seen any of those yet, check em out...it's hilarious watching them endure it lol
  4. I'm hoping Aaron Murray comes out after his Jr year and he becomes a Bill shortly thereafter.... I know much more about SEC players than ACC, but that EJ Manuel kid looks like a player. I'd rather have Murray, though. He's only 6'1", so I"m sure height concerns will drop him down enough that we won't have to be drafting in the top 10 to get him.
  5. I think we've improved a ton, but I think it will be in 2013 when we really make a push to go deep into the playoffs...not 2012. I think we'll start a bit slow this season and then by around week 9 or 10 we'll be playing as well as any team in the NFL.
  6. Just FYI, TruTV has a youtube channel with tons of clips from the show... http://www.youtube.com/user/truTVnetwork
  7. Let us know what you think after you see it
  8. Grossed 80mil in the first day...2nd all time. But worldwide it's already made over 300 MILLION dollars lol....unreal. I'm pretty sure there will be a sequel
  9. Oh MAN! I forgot all about Ed Bassmaster! lol I used to watch his youtube stuff at work a couple years ago...Mumbles at the drive in always had me rolling
  10. Thanks! Just added smodcast to my InTune RAdio app and tenderloin podcast to iTunes
  11. I think I heard someone in another thread mention Zweigles....mmmmmmmmmmm
  12. Did someone say "Zweigles"? MMMmmmmmm
  13. I've never been a diehard fan, but definitely enjoyed their music. 47 is way too damn young...it's really scary how many people are passing in their 40s nowadays...
  14. I tell ya who was working hard last night...the fan. That thing was pretty much blowing the dress right off her cooter.
  15. That song last night was definitely a departure for her...sounded quite a bit different than most of the contemporary country tunes you hear nowadays.
  16. I know, it won't happen...I just miss that little universe.
  17. I understand the move, but hard to see him leave after how encouraging he's been to our FA's. That being said, I'm loving the youth movement and I think we may have one of the best secondaries in the NFL if these young kids pan out. Thanks for the memories, DF! Best of luck!
  18. My hope is that Whedon cooks the books, skims about 30mil off the top and funds a sequel to Serenity.
  19. Dude, you gotta post again after you see last night's show...I think it's the funniest one I've seen yet. There is an elevator scene that will have you rollin', and the 4-way punishment at the end is epic!
  20. Just got back from the 2am showing...had a blast. The 12am and the three shows after that one sold out, so I was hoping I timed it right when I chose the 2am showing. Turns out it was just about perfect...had plenty of room in the theater, only about 30 or 40 people in there. It's not often you get to see the biggest blockbuster of the summer on opening night with most of the theater to yourself With too few people it's not as much fun, so it was just about right. As for the movie, it was a great ride. I have to give Joss Whedon credit...he did a great job. The running time is 2.5 hrs though, so with previews it ends up being close to 3hrs in the seat, so if you tend to get antsy sitting in one place for so long, be forewarned. I had heard someone say in a review that one of its strengths was how Whedon got all the main players enough screen time where it felt very balanced. I definitely agree with this and no matter which character you want to see most, you'll be happy. The plot isn't as involved as something like The Dark Knight, but it's not "surfacy" either. It felt about right, and the few times when I was JUST about to think it was slowing down too much, Whedon throws something in there to make sure you're still right there with him. I thought Ruffalo did a great job as the Hulk and Robert Downey Jr was fantastic. Also, this is probably the best looking film I've seen in a while...the CGI was very realistic and the action scenes were well done overall. Is it a GREAT film? I'd have to see it again to make that call. My initial reaction is 'no', but I don't think it set out to be that. But it's certainly worth a trip to the theater and it's a lot of fun. I do have one question for the comic nerds here if someone could PM me the answer to this question. I will use spoiler tags to protect the innocent:
  21. Have you seen an episode yet where you DIDN'T laugh? I always place a premium on shows/movies that can truly get me to laugh, and these guys accomplish that very consistently. They come up with some great challenges and the way they all work off each other is great...I'm really glad they got a 2nd season, although sooner or later they'll become too recognizable for the show
  22. I was really tempted to go tonight...can't wait to see this! EDIT: Screw it...I'm goin' at 2am
  23. I freely admit that I'm always never too far away from my inner child, and ever since I watched Candid Camera as a kid with the Funtster, I've been hooked on practical joke type shows. I laughed so hard at tonight's episode that I just had to mention it here and see if anyone else was a fan. In case you're not familiar with it, here's a link to the home page. Basically it's four guys from New York who have been friends since high school. They have an improv show that they do, and they've brought some of their schtick to tv. Each week they come up with prank challenges for each other, and at the end of the show whoever failed to complete their tasks ends up being punished (which is often the funniest part of the show). Tonight was the first time where they had a 4-way tie and all of them had to suffer the consequences. I laughed so hard that I nearly had to change the sheets on my bed. It's on Thursdays at 10pm on Tru TV and it was just renewed for a 2nd season. Anyone see it?
