  1. My wife is a dyslexia therapist, and a couple of her students also have Aspergers. I showed her your answer, and here are her questions as a follow up:

Do you have issues with print/printed words?
Do you have any troubles getting the words in your head written down on paper?

greetings, I am a mom to a high functioning aspie and as being her mom I have learned a lot But IMO it would be better if she took time to talk to you herself. Do you think thats a good idea? I will ask her and show her the thread in any case.

If you look down the thread list probably page 2 or so you will see a thread I posted regarding Katrina.

talk to you soon hopefully 🙂

Muppy, that's an excellent idea having your amazingly talented daughter reach out!

  2. I think there's something that most of us have, that for one reason or another, has not come up in conversation. You would never know they are dealing with "x".

I have Bipolar I with Rapid Cycling. Thankfully I have found a medication that has kept it under great control, and found a wife that understands it and helps me through any cycling episodes I may be having.

What is the biggest issue you have with Aspergers?

  3. His name is Ronnie Littlejohn, and he hosts The Gumbo Kitchen which airs on Fridays from 9pm to 1am on jazz.fm out of Toronto. The show is all about New Orleans style of Jazz.

Sting's manager heard the show when he was in Toronto during the summer, and fell in love with it. Within a week, he had Sting do a promo slot for the show. After talking to the manager, Ronnie was informed today that Sting himself has heard the show via internet and wanted to be interviewed for it.

    Can't wait to hear this!

Your memory doesn't serve you correctly.

    Neither does yours...

I’m not calling this a “prediction” — just a feeling.  If the injury bug does not infect the team in our most critical spots I think it’s very possible for the Bills to run the table.  Five of eight at home.  A humbling loss two weeks ago to force a “reset.”  A smart, veteran defense.  A coach learning and getting better each week (McD said they left the starters in Sunday “to put the game away”).  And an MVP candidate at QB.  The Pats*** are playing well but they don’t equal our talent.  Tampa has been as inconsistent as anyone.  The Saints with Trevor Siemian?

Take it for what it’s worth.

During our home inspection, the inspector tested one of the GFI outlets in the kitchen, and it would not reset.  He mentioned he thought he heard two pop when he was testing.  Started looking and we found a second outlet behind the stove.  One of these days I'll get that removed and just put a blank plate over the box.  Seemed like a really strange place to have an outlet.  Only way to access it, is to pull the stove away from the wall.

I thought there was one behind the stove. We do have 2, but they're on either side of the sink. The one closest to the oven is the one that tripped.

I actually agree..........but I think we'd have all been more comfortable if you didn't weigh in hot so soon after you created a LAMP thread to predict that the Bills would win out right before the Indy game.

There were two threads about Indy. If my memory serves me correctly, eball created one saying he felt that Buffalo had a good chance to win. Another poster out right said Buffalo would destroy Indy. eball definitely didn't say that.

Chicago has a high crime rate, but not for tourists. Most of the crime is perpetuated against their own.

New Orleans on the other hand has a high rate of crime for tourists. If you choose to take that risk, so be it. I will not.

Re-read what it says. That article was written in 2019. It is talking about how NO has been the most dangerous city SINCE 1994.

I was there for 6 days in January 2020. Walked from one end of Bourbon Street to the other on multiple nights.

    Not. One. Problem.

And this was during the National Championship Game (Clemson vs. LSU).

If I would have listened to you, my wife and I would have to be locked up in our hotel the entire time we were there.

I think the 64 oz Hurricane I bought for $10 was more dangerous than the "actual" danger.
