  1. I believe the cross ownership is an NFL rule. For a long period of time, the same ownership group owned the Atlanta Thrashers and Atlanta Hawks.

When the rule came into being, Mr. Blockbuster had to sell the Marlins to comply with the new rule thus keeping the Dolphins.

As far as a new Bills owner goes, there is really no easy answer. I cannot see Rich owning them. Jacobs isn't a good fit, and there is no way in hell I would want to see Larry Quinn having his hands involved with the Bills. That would happen if Gollisano bought the team.

  2. Food for thought.

Are Young, Bush, Leinhart those one in a generation players, that you have to make moves to trade up to get?

I'm not saying I want one of those players on the Bills, but would Bush be better than Willis? Would Young or Leinhart be better than J.P.?

As for trading down, although I see the point and validity of it, it still drives me nuts! I think instead of stockpiling picks, Free Agency is still probably the most viable option of fixing what ails you.

  3. J.P. is having growing pains, but he is growing! He looks like he makes strides in becoming a very good quarterback every week!

Bledsoe threw 3 passes right into the ground, behind the line of scrimmage, without anyone around him. Caused the Giants winning Touchdown by handing off to Julius Jones, right on his left hip!

What would you rather have? I'd take today, as hard as it is, than trusting the offense to the droid.

  4. This coaching staff is pathetic . they are holding J.P. back. After the pick he threw near the goal line ,they went into panic mode. They ran poor Willis into a pack of wolves, with no blocking. They stacked the line and what do we do? What happened to the play action? Oh and fat Sam didn`t do much but go through the motions today. Sometimes I think this is a Donahoe plan to turn the fan`s against the Bills, so when they move them it won`t be as bad. <_<

Let me just highlight this as one of the most embarassing things I have ever read. I'm embarassed to be a Bills fan. Not because of the team, but for commentary like this.

Seriously. There's a football team in Hamilton, Ontario that would love to have you as a season ticket holder.

  5. Watching the game from the now torn down American Sports Bar and Grill on Transit Road. There were about 1500 people there for the beginning of the game, and there were 500 left at half time. When Christie kicked the FG in overtime, you couldn't move! A family right in front of me hugged, and fell right to the ground. Waitresses were dancing on the tables. I think the bar stopped charging people for drinks but I'm not sure on that. I do know it was just an amazing time!

  6. it's not just the quarterback position.''

That comment by JP could piss off some of those who have been vocal of JP. I know I'm up too late, and over thinking things, but I see nothing more than a bunch of grown men wanting to win, win badly, and win now. I see no problems with that!!

A nice revision of the "Bickering Bills". We know what happened with the Bickering Bills, Part I.

  7. The City? :(  San Jose is bigger.  Besides you don't have to pay to park at the Brit.

Primary reason why I go to McCovey's in Walnut Creek. Plus, we're talking 2 minute drive vs. 45 minute drive (with no traffic), which on a Sunday, is only a dream.

For a pure Football fan, McCovey's is a GREAT place to watch Football. The National games on 4 HDTV Plasma's, and all the others above the bar. Very easy to keep tabs on every game going on.
