This US team is pathetic. Forget the overall lack of effort, they're not even following the basic fundamentals of the game. Somebody needs to be far post on those crosses, the crosses themselves need to go far post and there should always be an atttacker following up. You learn this sh-- in youth soccer for crying out loud. They finally did all of these once and look what happened...they scored. Anyway....the refs are going to ruin this world cup for all the teams and the fans. I don't know whether to blame fifa for telling them to crack down or the refs for taking them too literally, but it sucks.

It's amazing the amount of irresponsibility in the media when talking about "global warming." On Good Morning America this morning, they were talking about the wildfires in the west and the connection to global warming. To drive the point home, they interviewed a firefighter that spoke of global warming basically like he was an expert and had a correspondent in Death Valley talking about the heat. What's next....reporting from the ocean and saying it's wet? Or how about a NBA player talking about how to perform by-pass surgery.

I agree he's usually not conservative and has a big history of stupid mistakes. In those three majors though, he did on occasion (even if rare) find a way to turn it off for even just one hole or one shot when he needed to.
