If those things are true, that's the kiss of death for Buffalo. And I have to believe it's true. I was much lower on him than most and felt he was over hyped. But even I had him going somewhere between Mid-2nd as a ceiling and Mid-3rd as the Floor.
The interview portion is integral to our selections. This brass puts an extreme emphasis on being impressed by not only the tape, but who they are as a person, their desire to be great, and their work ethic. If Beane and McDermott are wowed, they'll reach for you. If they aren't impressed, they aren't taking you.

Solid draft so far I think. They got younger at key positions. Especially with the Cole Bishop and D. Carter pick. Great depth piece that don't need to start right away. Love the Keon Coleman pick as well. I still expect the Bills to target a vet FA WR after the draft. Hopefully a guy like Tyler Boyd
Yes, it was very solid. I'll admit that I preferred different players at WR and S when we picked. But they were prospects worth taking when we took them and if they think they're the best fits - I trust their choices over my own.
Carter was my most often selected DT in simulators. I thought we had no shot at him in Round 3 after how Round 2 went. A real coup to get him where we got him without having to trade up.

Really? Name 1 player on offense besides Josh Allen who scares defenses or defensive staffs? You're straight up unraveling. If only people told you that your expectations were ridiculous when it came to the Draft.

Jefferson likely wont be thrilled about having a rookie QB / Darnold
2025 1st, 2nd, 4th.
I don’t care. F the picks
We need a baller
Stop with Jefferson.
Justin Jefferson isn't available. They moved on from Kirk Cousins because they wanted to be able to pay Jefferson when the time comes.
Jefferson talked excitedly about different Rookie QB's he wanted to play with during the offseason. He was one of the first people to reach out to J.J. McCarthy - https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jim-harbaugh-justin-jefferson-welcome-j-j-mccarthy-to-vikings-he-had-his-heart-set-on-minnesota/
As always, with guys like Tee Higgins and Brandon Aiyuk/Deebo Samuel as legitimate possibilities - you have to focus on ludicrous fantasy.

Tomorrow is simple, just draft a WR with each remaining pick and see who pans out and who doesn’t. You know that’s what we’d be doing on madden 😂
We're clearly circling back to Free Agency and/or have a Trade for later in the Offseason in the works. We're not relying on someone left on the board in Round 4 to be some kind of savior or Starter for us.

You would think trading some of those 5ths to get an early 4th for Franklin makes sense at this point.
You would think if anyone in the league viewed Troy Franklin as HALF the prospect posters on this board obsessed with him are - that he wouldn't be on the board in Round 4.
I wouldn't put all my eggs into the Franklin basket. I can easily see Buffalo preferring Devontez Walker, Javon Baker, Brendan Rice, Malik Washington, or Jamari Thrash over him.

16 WR's have gone off the board and he's still available as we enter Day 3.

In all seriousness, I didn't expect him to fall this far. I had him as a Late 2nd Round - Early 3rd Round prospect. But it's clear there's a MAJOR disconnect between the rampant overhype he had on this board all offseason and how he's actually viewed in league circles.

We better be trading for a WR this summer
We clearly didn't feel the WR's available after we picked at 33 were impact players for us this year and that the guys available in Round 4 or later won't be much different than the guys available to us at 60 or 95.

Know nothing about him but DT is a need. Is he more of a 1T or 3T?
More of a 3. Cover 1 guys were really high on him. Like him a lot and didn't think we'd have a shot at him at 95 the way Round 2 went. DT is EXTREMELY thin. WR still has quite a bit of meat left on the bone.
People need to relax on WR. I don't think Franklin is viewed any differently than guys like Devontez Walker, Javon Baker, Brendan Rice, Malik Washington, or Jamari Thrash in league circles. He's a sexy name on this board, but reality is that he isn't the prospect he was made out to be around here. Quite likely that we have one or more of those guys above him. They're all available currently and could be in play for us tomorrow with the ammo we have.

The Bills are clearly going big and physical so this actually wouldn’t totally surprise me based on what the Bills look like their trying to accomplish hereThis would not shock me in the least. RB2 is a sneaky need, we met with him at the Combine. and he's a perfect fit for what we need and 95 is around the area where I expect him to go. I'd be here for it.

I'd honestly be surprised if we went WR at 95. There's some guys sticking out like a sore thumb and still a number of decent WR prospects in Walker, Franklin, Baker, McMillan, Rice, Thrash, and Washington that we could move up for on Day 3. I don't think we view Franklin as significantly better than a number of them.

we’ll take LB again just to irritate fansI'd be surprised if it was LB. But I almost expect a Defensive Lineman. After the run in Round 2, DT's have gotten back to the value point. Isaac at DE is sticking out like a sore thumb. As is TJ Tampa at CB.

Four names that I think are likely that aren't on your list:
DE Adisa Isaac
DT DeWayne Carter
CB TJ Tampa
RB Braelon Allen

He claimed he was sick, which I think is plausible.
His game film is great. I'm really surprised he's still out there.
Again though - that doesn't explain away the measurements coming in less than expected. And if the illness effected his shocking times in the 10 (DEAD last amongst all WR's at the combine) and the 40 (not slow, but NOWHERE near as expected) - then why did he choose to stick to those times at his Pro Day and not re-run?
His Highlight Reel looks great. But beyond the YouTube clips, there's plenty of lowlights. He struggled against some Weak CB's who aren't NFL level prospects.

Listening to the PFF guys, they said WR Franklin is falling because he had a terrible Gauntlet in the combine - they said he looked like he was running the slalom
He had a TERRIBLE Combine, period. End of statement.
He measured shorter in height than expected. He weighed in lighter in weight than expected (and he was already underweight). He ran the 10 and 40's WAAAYYY less than expected (and then he didn't re-run those times at his Pro Day, meaning they are just what they are). And the Gauntlet? Was perhaps the ugliest i've ever seen. DJ was calling him out for it on live television.
His speed is a long gaining speed. He doesn't come off the line fast. All of these things don't necessarily mean he can't be good at the next level. But i'm not even remotely shocked he's still on the board in Round 3. The overhype train for him was rampant from the very beginning.

DE Adisa Isaac or DT Dewayne Carter seem more likely to me in a trade up here than another WR, honestly.

I'd bet even if we did double up at WR, they'd go Roman Wilson or Devontez Walker over Troy Franklin.

Bishop is a good pick. We’ll regret taking Coleman over Troy Franklin though.
We're approaching him falling to Round 3. I've been saying posters have been overhyping him all offseason and the way this is playing out is proving it.

Rd 3, Pick 95: DT DeWayne Carter, Duke

He wasn't ever going to be available in the Later Rounds. We were extremely lucky he was there at 95. Especially after how Round 2 went at DT.
