What games have you been watching this year? Before his injury, Willis was running harder than i've ever seen him run. Anyone who thinks the A-Train is a better back is ridiculous. I understand Willis is from "The U" and comes off a little dickish. But some of you need to look past that to his talent. I GUARANTEE that Willis would have done a whole helluva lot better than 56 yards in 19 carries against Houston. I'm even more positive that he would have put better than 108 against Indy if he was force fed the ball 28 times against the worst run D in the NFL.

Ticket Sales for Jax game?
BillsFanForever19 replied to DPR4444's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
http://buffalobills.com/blog/index.jsp?blogger_id=1 SELLOUT STREAK: It looks like you'll have to be at the Ralph on Sunday if you want to see Buffalo's big AFC matchup against the Jags on Sunday. With 7,000 tickets remaining it looks like the sellout streak dating back to the Oct. 31 game against Arizona in 2004 will come to an end this weekend and the game will be blacked out on TV. The Bills have sold out 27 of the last 28 home games. -
I'd go for Vonnie Holliday. He's getting up there in age, but he hasn't shown much signs of decline. He'd bring some veteran power in the middle alongside Tripplett and would give McCargo and Williams a year or two to mature.

Monty Brown signs with WWE
BillsFanForever19 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah..... I sort of cringed when I saw that. I realize they've put the World Title on Sting. I realize they've stolen Christian and Kurt Angle. I realize they've gotten themselves a primetime cable spot. But I think they're pushing their luck calling out the WWE this early. But I love 'em anyways -
Monty Brown signs with WWE

^ I suppose you're right. I'm kinda biased because i'm more into TNA, ROH, and Japanese Wrestling than WWE these days. But i'm glad that Monty's onto the big show. He seems pretty happy about it too. They just put up a new article about him: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/montybrownspeaks -
Monty Brown signs with WWE
BillsFanForever19 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh wow, that's a good idea! I bet they do that. I'm guessing they'll put him on "Smackdown!". They have a lack of talent and could use a new exciting player. If you put him in ECW, it would take away from the newly acquired Bobby Lashley and of course my personal favorite wrestler, CM Punk. -
http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/3694976 Very interesting that they list him as "Monty Brown of the Buffalo Bills" showing pictures of him playing as a Bill rather than "The Alpha Male" of TNA. But I guess that would just be Vince refusing to acknowledge TNA once more

Today's Offical Gameday Thread

1st and Goal? Run, Run, Run, FG? That's not going to beat the Colts. Way to show your confidence in Losman (Regardless of my avatar, I want to see Losman get out of his funk and earn this job) -
Ashton Youboty STILL Inactive!
BillsFanForever19 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Nope, but it gives us 2 spots more than we usually have. Especially since Reed's replacement will be either Aiken or Davis who are always active. -
I don't understand it. I get that the kid missed half of training camp because of family issues. But here we are at Week 10 and still nothing! This guy was graded a 1st Rounder by most and was someone we were looking at to replace Nate Clements. Why wouldn't you at least dress the kid?! Could he possibly be that much worse than Jabari Greer or Kiwaukee Thomas? I have a feeling that Jauron and staff are "playing it safe". I'd bet they feel that Thomas and Greer have been playing all season and thus give us a better chance. But I just don't see it and the whole thing is getting ridiculous at this point. You'll never know what you have until you play him in a real game. Practice won't tell you sh-t. All they're doing is delaying the maturing process and as a fan of Youboty in college, i'm getting sick of it.

Veteran QB's for 2007
BillsFanForever19 replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm seeing a lot of this. But on the other hand, i'm seeing a lot of people say that if J.P. doesn't work out that we shouldn't draft a QB. That it would be dumb to start a new project all over again. So if J.P. doesn't work and we don't want to draft a QB or sign/trade one of the guys available, what's the plan?! Hope Nall is the guy? -
If J.P. Losman doesn't work out and the Bills decide they need a new QB now, which of these men would work the most? - Matt Schaub is a RFA and the Falcons would have to bow out of a bidding war or trade him. - Byron Leftwitch I feel could be traded or cut with the way David Garrard is playing. - Ditto for Trent Green and Damon Huard. - Jay Cutler wasn't drafted at #11 to sit forever (especially with how much fans want him). Anything short of a Super Bowl spells the end for Jake "The Snake" in Denver IMO. - Chris Simms is an UFA. IMO he hasn't looked much better than Losman and will be coming off of the horrific spleen injury. But he has shown flashes of his good genes and college stardom. Honestly, I couldn't really complain with any of them competing with Nall next season.

Evans not cutting it as #1 WR ...
BillsFanForever19 replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No. Evans has been playing pretty damn well while being blanketed. He needs some help. Unfortunately, Peerless isn't as good as Marv thought he was. -
I have a problem with that. This offseason (outside of Schaub who is a RFA) there is no QB's worth building your team around. Nall, who will be entering his 6th season next year and has little experience, is not that guy either. Every NFL team needs to have a solid veteran and a guy for the future. If Losman isn't the guy, I don't want to pass on more Leinart's and Cutler's and wait until Round 6. I want someone with real potential. If Losman doesn't work, a Day 1 pick needs to be used on QB. I don't care what anyone says.

I Fear That Right Around The Corner
BillsFanForever19 replied to Buffalo Baumer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Mike Schopp? J.P. Losman must and will have this entire season. I don't care if that means we lose every game. We need to know going into this offseason and draft whether or not we need to be looking elsewhere. I too am a big Brady Quinn fan. But at no time should you be rooting against J.P. Losman and the Bills. It would be MUCH easier for this team if Losman works out. Unfortunately, I am having a hard time seeing it as well. -
I think our FA focus needs to be on D. But I have a problem with focusing ANOTHER draft on D. Yeah our defense is playing terrible right now, but that's because we have a lot of new faces and rookies. It takes time. That's not to say everyone is worth keeping, but our rookies need time to groom and we need some veteran help at most of these places. I don't know if anyone's noticed or not, but our Offense lacks any real firepower (outside of Evans and McGahee once in a while).

Coming off of how he's been playing the past few weeks, I feel next Sunday will be a very important game. If he can't get it done..... a.) At home b.) With an extra week of preperation c.) A re-tooled line to better assist him d.) Against a horrid GB defense .... then his days are numbered in my opinion. But if he can pull it out and really play well, it could be an opportune (sp?) time to get a little confidence, momentum, and right the ship.

How many "Bills" fans are comforted by Sabres?
BillsFanForever19 replied to Mr. T's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm an NFL fan, not an NHL fan. While it's cool that a hometown team is considered the best, it doesn't really matter to me. I think it's kind of stupid how people are trying to say that Buffalo is a hockey first town. No matter how good the Sabres are and how bad the Bills are, it'll always be a football first town. -
http://members.tripod.com/sdogo/week2date.htm For the draftnicks, here's a page that is updated after NFL week with the order of April's NFL Draft. We're in the top 10, but will have to keep the losing up if we want a shot at Joe Thomas, Calvin Johnson, or Brady Quinn
-
I would love for him to prove everyone wrong and show that he's the guy. But right now, it just isn't happening. It's so easy to say that there is no offensive line. But a good QB makes an average offensive line look better. I've seen MANY times when the line has given Losman ample time and he still can't get it done. The guy is throwing bad passes, making bad reads, and showing zero football instincts. Not to mention, he turns the ball over practically everytime he's hit. He just isn't a difference maker. That's where my problems with him lie. Believe me, there's nothing i'd rather see than for us to actually win some games. But you can't attack fans who are fed up at this point. Most of us are.

The Bills were gonna trade Nate for Booger!!!

So they wanted Clements AND a draft pick?! What are they high?
