  1. Football is a but four-act play that has been on the stage, untold thousands of times. Everything that is needed to be known about it happened a long time ago. After a while, you learn that you don't need to watch another one to draw some conclusions.
  2. It goes both ways. After years and years of having ten or so GB games gracing my tv, it's down to six or so. Rodgers - to me - takes off in an instant, leaving his linemen to flail about. I would be pleased if one of them turned around, and chased down and planted Sir Aaron into the turf. He needs to learn a lesson. His incessant farting around cost then a win against CIN last season.
  3. "Hate on" - what an unfortunate contemporary usage of our language. More unfortunate - offer a differing opinion on anything, and expect hateful accusation and/or insult. What a sniveling, thin-skinned, cry baby society we have these days.
  4. Indeed - it take two to tangle. In the six years he has played - seven coming up - I never got the thought that he was the type to help out a QB or the team. I would have never re-upped his contract.
  5. Go ahead and make it legal. Pay no attention to hopped-up stuckincincy on the highway laughing, drifting into your lane and causing a crash, or happy-happy stuck giggling as he crosses the interstate median at 65 mph and hits you head on. Whee! Oops! The legalization folks seem to think that everybody will stay home and commune with the trees and flowers... "my bad."
  6. Right. No big deal. Untold thousands, millions live in producing nations, and are killed, beaten up. They see their nations controlled, with no hope except to produce the stuff or die or live a miserable existence. Kidnapping, murder, torture are the order of the day. U.S. production? Wow, what a nice bunch there. We have this idea - "make it legal and all problems go away." Right, once more. Each time one take a puff, there is blood, a trail of tears behind it. Fact.
  7. If I could put Jerry Rice in his prime on a Bills' team, we'd be talking about how gritty, spot-on, and resourceful those quarterbacks were.
  8. Eh. Evans cashes his check every week, seldom mixes it up and never puts his body at any risk to make a catch. He cruises on, pocketing the cash until he hangs it up and retires in comfort.
  9. 2001: A Space Odyssey. It droned on and on and on for eons...to deliver the same, old, shop-worn, piece of movie pap - mankind is F*ked.
  10. Ah, but Tati was a warm-hearted soul, who made others laugh at themselves and the world. Embiggenment...
  11. Yobouty? Wasn't he on the Official TSW Hate List last season?
  12. No - that was an old practice that Kings and such used - nuptial "rights".
  13. Since they seem to have tossed Cover 2 into the trash bin, and have embraced the 3-4, and will likely have a period of adjustment - I'd say a corner or a safety.
  14. Another qb with no camp and working out timing is a problem. I think they have to stick with what they have, at this point.
  15. 1st preseason game - Spiller is 4 for 16 yards, with an 11 yard run. Pfft. Let's see how how he does in the next games. He should get a bunch of attempts - with Jackson and Lynch being banged up.
  16. 2nd rounder Jerome Simpson, Matt Jones, and Quan Cosby are the likely cuts from the CIN team. Their question mark is if Bryant can play. You might recall Cosby - he was a draft day feature, sitting on a couch with comedian Bill Cosby. He wasn't drafted. CIN signed him as a UFDA, and he did a fine job on special teams and punt returning. But #3 Shipley and db Jones will take over the PR duties, as well as KR. He's 27 years old - no snot about him. Had a couple games at wr - not bad. He's the CIN wr cut that BUF should pay attention to.
  17. BUF's talent is a bit weak. If you are the HC, you try to get the opposition guessing throughout the game with a couple of end-arounds, a HB pass now and then. You are an older guy with young people. Spark up your players - try some pizazz.
  18. Thank you - a better choice. I really wanted David Niven or Maurice Chevalier, but alas... And you? Perhaps Jacques Tati?
  19. Why pile on Brohm? Wait until he gets some snaps...
  20. Yes, it can. But you have 53 active roster spots, and have to use them judiciously. Most all clubs have a parade of RBs that get some playing time and get cut, and remain out there. Some hitch on with other clubs, some sit around waiting for a phone call. The nature of the position is that they are decent learners of an offensive system, so if they are in shape when they get that call; they can be serviceable. As it seems to date, BUF will have to sacrifice a roster spot for Fred Jackson for a regular season game - possibly more. Not an uncommon thing.
