2 things you don't like about the Bills as of right now...
SABURZFAN replied to SKOOBY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
get with the times. NOT the 60's. how many atrocious seasons did we endure during the 70's and 80's? too many to remember. Chuck Knox was here for a short period, did well enough, and then it was the same crap after he left. Polian came along and did a helluva job until the Old Fart's daughter had to meddle. once he left, it's been the same crap. we're staring at nearly a DECADE of no playoffs. if i remember right, the Rams had to pay a relocation fee of $29 million to move to St. Louis. if i remember correctly, Art Modell had to pay a relocation fee to go to Baltimore. any NFL team that moves today will have to pay a relocation fee. i don't know if it holds true about "someone elses territory" but if so, they'd have to move to Hawaii or Alaska to avoid it then. -

1. Ralph Wilson- never liked him since Day 1 as a Bills fan. people can toot the Old Fart's horn all they want but in the 50 years as an owner, he never really cared about fielding a winner until the NFL became a cash cow and Polian thrusted the Bills in the spotlight with his incredible drafting. the guy is now cheating the fans by allowing "home" games in Toronto just to line his pockets. i don't want to hear that crap about how he could have relocated the Bills. he was too damn cheap to pay the relocation fee and Buffalo is a hop, skip, and a jump from Michigan. Bills fans need new blood for ownership and not some miserable old bastard who's only worried about his "tin cup." 2. Coaching- Dick Jauron looks more suitable to answering doors by saying, "You rang?" somebody stick a mirror under his nose to see if he's still breathing. -
Anyone Agree with Tim Graham on This?
SABURZFAN replied to toddgurley's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i agree for the most part but having a disgruntled player on your roster is not good for your team, even if he was the best OL. go back and look at that Jet game, where Losman fumbled, and you'll see that Peters didn't make any kind of effort and laid off on that play completely. that's not a Pro Bowl type player to me when you leave your QB out to dry like he did. -
i was born and raised in WNY until 1986. i left for the military for 4 years and moved to Vegas in 1990. last year, i moved back to WNY, after getting full custody of my kids, for the purpose of getting them both a better education. half the kids in Vegas can't speak English and stopping class to interpret to them only hampered my kids learning ability. my kids are in 7th and 2nd grade. i was amazed, at the beginning of the year, at how far behind they were compared to the other kids. now, they are right up there. i'm not too happy being back here (weather and NYS dysfunctions) but i'm willing to make that sacrifice for my kids education. i may change my mind down the road but i'll be leaving NYS as soon as my youngest graduates. it can't happen quick enough for me.

Just curious- how many Bills fans in Las Vegas?
SABURZFAN replied to LasBillzz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i never been to that bar but i heard it rocked. i lived near UNLV and never got over to the west side much. they used to have Billy's West (i think it was off Tropicana on the west side)and Rob Roy's (Maryland Pkwy and Karen) too. -
no doubt. any Bills fan who hasn't seen that game should definitely watch it.

they failed miserably. they couldn't even give away tickets because it was so bad. people that didn't understand CFL rules were totally turned off by the game. some people would walk out before halftime. -

Johnny Mac's blows. the Stake Out is decent but Santora's, out in Henderson, is the best Bills bar in the Vegas area. -
i've never tried heroin so i wouldn't know what that feels like.

Fergy could play in todays game. i don't know if his chin would be able to withstand the turf after an interception though.

i moved out of Vegas last year. it's probably a good thing because Lossman would easily hear me tell him he sucks. i seriously doubt that people will drive out to Sam Boyd unless KOMP 92.3 is giving away a slew of tickets. -
Cop that busted Bruce for DUI, gets busted for DUI

i wish i could do a bong hit to forget that i wasted my time reading another one of your posts.

Santora's is the better of the 3.

1. i don't have friends, nor do i wish to make any, here at TSW. 2. Skooby's threads are entertaining when the shortbus riders try to come up with something witty to say but fail miserably trying. 3. i guess i have no value with my time if i just read a post by Jim in Anchorage.
