  1. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Chambers

Drafted and played for Gailey in Miami AND Kansas City.

Brought to San Diego while Buddy Nix was Asst. GM.

High School AND College teammate and friend of LEE EVANS!

*I think this would be an AWESOME idea...and he probably would love to stick it to Miami twice a year!

Could you imagine Lee and Chris teaming up, and working together to coach the youngsters as well!?

    GET IT DONE RUSS...er....MARV...errr....BUDDY....errrrr....RALPH!

Its a good idea....but there's nobody that can throw the ball to him.

  2. Kiper projects the Notre Dame QB to us. Now let's get to work.

Kiper's a total sh*t. He uses a program based on numbers and needs only to make these predictions. I do like to hear what the computer spits out (i.e. whats coming out of his mouth) but all in all he doesnt know anything.

    Success rate is like 8%

  3. Good Post. Seems as if many people on this board might want to take some time to read the Vick court transcripts. If it doesn't turn your stomach and totally disgust you, I'd be very surprised.

Also, find some replays of a show called Dog Town...a humane, no kill shelter in Utah that accepted about 18 of the worst "Vick" dogs and showed the challenges of trying to bring these trained killers back to being pets. Very sad.

This is indeed a cultural issue - but my loyalty to the Bills has always been based on Marv's philosophy of hiring players of character. I'd rather go 2-14 with a team of good, honest, law-abiding men than win a SB with a bunch of wife beating, child beating, baby making, dog killing cons. Just my opinion.

I disagree with anyone who shares this philosophy. I welcome anyone that can bring a superbowl to this city.

I dont care what Vick did to those dogs.

  4.

I'd love for you to point out any of these "awful decisions" Clausen made during the past year. Two years ago was his first healthy year of college ball and he improved dramatically between then and the start of 2009. I can't remember ever watching a QB play as near-perfect as he did over the course of this season. And I watched every minute of ND football this year (as painful and stomach-turning as it was).

He had 4 picks....THREE were deflected passes. Not "out of his reach and tipped" deflected. "Hit him in the hands, face, or back" deflected. Golden Tate was quoted as saying he can't remember one instance where Jimmy didn't put the ball exactly where it should have been.

He is a stud QB...the best physical tools in the most pro-prepared offense. He will succeed at the next level no doubt.

You trade up for him if you have to.

Alright, well I did also watch much if not every game the past 3 seasons. I will admit, I did not jot down any of the bad decisions he continually made. Soooooooo you got me there.

    He's such a stud that:

    1. The HC was canned for 1 awful season after the next....Stud didnt save him.

    2. He got punched in the face, at his own school, by an ND fan.....Stud play didnt save him there.

    3. ND is considered a joke in the college football world.....Stud play didnt save face for the program.

All the physical tools in the world dont mean anything without a brain to tell them what to do. I.E. Losman.

Im just saying I disagree with you here, who knows, he may get drafted and blow it out...Im just saying I think he stinks and dont want him anynear this city.

  5. if we take mclain can he and poz be an effective two-some or would poz be regulated to back-up role. some have mentioned he would be more effective at OLB...but i don't know much about 3-4 or 4-3 schemes so i have no idea how this would work

Agree with both of you here....there is zero downside with Mclain if he's there.

QB's are a projects, some work out, some dont. I cant see picking a guy like Claussen over Mclain. But I can see picking a guy like Pike if he's there in the late 2nd or 3rd round. I mean, pick up a free agent (McNabb/Vick or some type of them) or just shoot the gamet with a guy like Pike.

...ps....CountDorkula gained a fan. Makes me laugh.

  6. Notre Dame lost their games due to their inability to stop anyone on defense. If Notre Dame had any kinof defense they would have had 11 wins this year and playing for a high ranked bowl game, and everyone would be clammering. Clausen played on a bummed foot, with his 2 best receivers out, no o-line, and a defense that ranked next to last in the nation. Tell me why claussen sucks. Not just because he does, but really why he is such a bad option at QB

You're out of your league here friend. Claussen is an asful decision maker and an even terrible leader. Go back and look at the previous two years. Claussen is highly overrated, in fact, I see him falling to late in the first round and possibly the second.

Just my thoughts, much of it based on games I watched.

  7.

Headline News- A bill board doesn't buy what it used to. The Bills fans pulled thier resources to try to get Cowher, but landed Chan Galey. But have been a clearence advertisement.

**What the hell does that even mean?

Charlotte Sports TV news- In other news, the Bills lost out on Cowher and had to settle for Chan. What else do you expect from a team that has to leave the country to find fans. *laughing "Maybe Canadians will think Galey is Cowher."

    **That....is F'n funny!

  8. I guess I haven't already decided this was a bad move and now looking for any crumb to back up my negativity. We get it. You hate it. You have two choices. Leave or stick around and see how it turns out. But reading the endless repetitive whining is boring. And if you are referring to the southern accents as "proof" then you are just a fool.

    PTR

Let me start by saying the following, RESPECTFULLY:

    18-14 over all record.....Not impressive.

2 years and ran out of the NFL....Not impressive.

I'm stating the obvious. I do not hate the move, because it could be much worse. Southern accents being called in as "proof" that its a bad hire...again, really? Just an obvious and boring prediciton..respectfully, you're awful at reading people. I hope you're not in sales man.

Leave or stick around...? Wow you couldnt be more in the middle. Which makes you incredibly boring.

    JFP

ps....dont waste your time responding, I almost couldnt get through the last three sentences you sent back without nodding off.

  9. Never has said that some at OBD visit TBD but policy is not based on what we post. But if we are giving cred to his posts then be assured the Bills really threw the kitchen sink at the A-list coaches, they were embaressed by the rejections, that Chan enterred the picture on Cowher's recommendation, and at the end of the day it's still Ralph Wilson's toy so every employee has to be judged through that prism.

    PTR

By the way, organize your thoughts and structure before you post this trash.

  10. It's clear that Nevergiveup has some sort of inside info. That being said, this board has gained an enormous amount of publicity over the years within Bills Nation, and due to this fact it's perfectly logical to believe that Russ and the F.O. keep tabs on this board daily. My question is... knowing full well what the response from the fanbase will be... WHY hire Gailey? He's had no real success in previous HC stints and will have a vast majority of the fanbase irate. I truly believe there is a plan in place to keep the team in Buffalo, and am not buying into the conspiracy theory of intentionally pushing fans away. That being said, however, WHY Gailey?

You're better than questions like that.

This piece of garbage organization did not CHOSE Gailey, they're stuck with him.

NOBODY wants this job dude, NOBODY. If I had to guess, Gailey didnt really want to come here either, but its like a last shot for him, and he really couldnt turn this down.
