8-time probowler at a "technical" position....and last i checked, we have a punching bag LT..
I think he's worth signing.
-
8-time probowler, proven guy at a position we desperately need. Does this make sense to anyone else?
-
How can our offense exploit their defense? Two very strong one-on-one corners and a first round pick that was the best cover corner drafted. They put these guys on an island and put nine in the box.
Running against nine in the box is tough and passing against their corners might be pretty tough too.
Good special teams coach and special teams in general.
Good offensive line. Addition of Holmes adds speed to receiving corp.
I don't want to roll over here by any means but man they look tough.

Good post. Easley has a lot to contribute and is just getting started. He definitely could beat out Hardy and/or Johnson for a big role on offense this year. Heck, with a little luck and some good coaching, he could turn into a pretty damn good #1 wide receiver, he has the tools necessary. Besides, I think Lee would be much more effective as a #2.
Just my two cents.
You're joking right? He's basically never played WR before...keep your hopes up.

how did it go?

Remember this?...none of that looks so good any more! That whole class of QB's can get flushed. It was my brothers wedding day and I remember having the bar tender running me draft picks. Young, Leinert, Cutler...sucks.
Watch the video, please! It is amazing after the draft to be ab le to see these kinds of highlights...and...now...(I tried looking for a highlight but you cannot recognize what has not been done.)
BA BA BOOEY BA BA BOOEY FA FA FLUNKEY

Exactly....
That as well as the Seahawk's obviously not offering enough to make it happen.
Yo that rec room looks like a great place to get krunk on sundays...awesome.
-
Why would any good executive tip their hand prior to the draft by telling their plans to a talking head on TV?
You mean talking hair?
-
It is possible.

THAT......my friend, was one of the funniest subject headlines i've read since I've been on here. I laughed out loud. Thank you I needed that.
-
Except for the fact that he has excellent hands and rarely drops passes, especially in comparison to other receivers.
I agree with you here....but he cant get open, and not being able to get open means it doesnt matter what kind of hands he has.
-
I read your post and thought "no matter how many letters this guy strings together, I'm never once going to say wow". Now I hate you.
See how that works?
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahaha that was funny
-
he wont make the team
-
I wanted a big name playmaker like Cody, not some turd out of UCF.

What's strange about it?
The Bills drafting Special Teamers with their 1st pick in the 4th round? Thats not strange to you? You know we're talking about Football, not futbol...right?
-
I have to disagree with you on this one. The Spiller pick was a lot of things, to include a marketing ploy. Furthermore, if their supposed hardcore interest in Tebow has any shred of truth to it, that to would only refute your claim.
well, i guess i just think that if their main agenda was Marketing, they wouldve thrown everything out the winda and went straight for Tebow.
Buddy did say he loved Tebow, but he was not in their future...and I believe it because so far they seem to do only what they say.
I also think they know Colt is they're guy and now they're making a move to get him....your thoughts?
-
That's what I was thinking too - give the Rams him and our pick for #33
Thats waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much
-
what bothers me about all this "return" crap is I do NOT even want him playing special teams. Special Teams does not matter in this game.
-
I hope that whole area of the country falls off the map.

Mark Gaughn's article had this:
'They could have taken the third tackle in the draft — either Iowa's Bryan Bulaga or Rutgers' Anthony Davis. They could have taken nose tackle Dan Williams of Tennessee or pass rusher Derrick Morgan of Georgia Tech.
"I told you guys the last time we met that need was important, but it had to be a guy who we felt could start immediately, not that those other guys couldn't," Nix said.'
What a great quote, " it had to be a guy who we felt could start immediately, not that those other guys couldn't" Totally illogical, but entertaining.
I guess he wasn't kidding when he said he wasn't the smartest guy.
They took Spiller to sell tickets and create some buzz. How about that shot at Lee Evans that the team had no game breakers? I think he was right about that unfortunately.
Now I wouldn't be surprised if they took a QB or WR.
Speaking of need, they will probably be shopping for starting OT's in round 7.
Like the intensity, but I disagree.
1. Of all the GM HC combinations in the league, this one has already proven to not be interested in Russ Brandon's "Sell Tickets any way you can" campaign.
2. Lee Evans is not a game breaker. He's a great wide receiver that can not get open...which is a huge thing for a WR. If he cant get open, he cant break open anything....and yes I agree, maybe if he had a supporting cast QB and other WR's, he would be.
3. Who touches the ball every play of the game offensively? QB. And we need one. Personally I like, McCoy. So I want them to go get him.
Just my opinion man.
-
Another thing I like about him is he's an academic all american, graduated in 3.5 years early and was coaxed into leaving college early.

Something tells me not to disregard Skelton for some reason. Pike and LeFevour are career backups at best or UFL backups at worst.
I think Armanti Edwards will actually find a niche in the NFL, just not as a QB.
eh, i disagree here. I think Pike can come in and make an impact right away. Im not a LeFevour fan.

Wow Berry....we're getting Bulaga
