The larger story that countries are trying to move away from US influence but getting away from the US dollar as a reserve currency even though the same discussions were had 10 years ago with laughable results.

I heard that other countries were moving away from the US dollar to the euro. At that point it was a done deal, then the PIIGS happened. It will be a long time before habits are broken.

I heard the same thing from 2008 to 2012.
