It's the right call, ball still in hand when coming forward. But we'll enforce the "just in case" flag anyway -

Major holding there by Houston in KC's own stadium leads to a TD. You hate to see that. -

Hicks was a flat steal in the 4th round (5 picks after Ray Davis, and another KC pick that was originally Buffalo's) -

If you're gonna ignore the false start on every snap at least call a borderline hold or two. -
Probably Chick Bizkit. Or Richard Cheese.

This arrangement is so much better than the live, the dry piano and drums on the break just pop. Pretty dark for '65, but caught my ear as it's epically cool.

I voted for the one at 0:57 in this clip. The amount of subtle absurdity to pull the ball down to drop the defensive players arms, then put it right over his helmet with a quick release, right into the middle of 3 defenders hitting a second level receiver dead in stride that he shouldn't even have been able to SEE. I don't think even Madden lets you do stuff that.

I'm still on record that it was the game plan. Reviewing it Josh did what he always does when nothing was there, extend, drift, extend. The problem was in that game, even the scramble drills the receivers were all plastered, he had easily double-digit throwaways/dirtballs to avoid sacks/negative plays. There was nothing to work with, but the narrative was like he was completely missing wide open receivers. Still almost won the game, and with some proper game management this season the Bills may well be #1 in the conference right now with wins in Houston and LA.

12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game Post Game Thread
Ralonzo replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
It was pretty nuts. Tight side-to-side window, but even more nuts to me was, that it was a second level throw. And the best play on it might have been made by Mack Hollins because it zipped right over his head, but somehow he knew the pass was intended for the next level beyond him and he deliberately kept his arms down and let it by when I think he could have reached up for it and maybe disastrously tipped it in the air, and was almost celebrating before it was caught like Allen did on the theft-pass (stolen by the refs). -

Herbert plays the position like a kid with expensive coaching since peewee to play the position. Allen plays the position like a kid who played the game just to compete - whatever the game. It's the difference between Don Johnson and Kevin Costner's characters in "Tin Cup" -
