  1. I started off doing mocks with the idea of trading up for that great WR to fill the major hole, but after enough iterations, came around to the strategy of for this team, at this time, I should be looking for trade downs to get 4 to 5 guys who can augment the roster this year. Day 1 through early day 3 is pretty much the zone for that stuff in this draft. The Bills are pushing their later picks into that zone. I understand what they're doing because they're going to the "value-meets-need" zone for their roster.
  2. The Xaviers are regarded as having mid Day-2 grades. If Beane is right and they are reaches at the draft picks he traded out, where the Bills reap the benefits, and gets his guy anyway after being pushed down (and lower salary!) then we're not Worthy. Day 2 will tell the tale, but the talking skulls are killing Beane right now for trading out of picks used to pick players they are sure the Bills needed.

  4. Trade with CAR, has to be for #39 and #101. The #95 and #101 picks are right in the sweet spot for getting those last few difference makers to fill holes and start sometime this year. This is a great mini re-tool depending on the results of Day 2.
  5. WOW there's a riser, Pearsall to SF
  6. The value will be lessened courtesy the trade back to 32, unless they do a similar thing to upgrade later round picks to pick up the slack. 32 = 35 + 138 from Arizona 32 = 39 + 101 from Carolina 32 = 40 + 100 from Washington
  7. I don't regard C as a pressing need for the roster. I don't think they'll go that way.
  8. They have to be using the Rich Hill chart. Bills give 227 points KC gives 227 points
  9. Rich Hill chart says moving from 32 down with Washington, should net 40 and 100 rather than 36 and 78 which would have been the net for #28. If Washington moves up to 29-31 and pay more than the Bills got, I'ma be pissed. Welp there goes Guyton. Washington may not have wanted to pay the price. Could be Beane has his eye on Ladd? Or... Dejean makes it to 32 and decapitates Worthy in their first matchup
  10. Trade is announced. And it's with arch enemy KC to give them the next player to let them win 3 friggin SBs I am sure.
  11. Darius Robinson ... well. My preferred outcome here is let Washington come up and get Guyton for 36 and 78.
  12. I'll let them have T.J. Tampa if they let Buffalo have Keaton Bills.
  13. Jordan Morgan is 2nd rated (projected) Guard in the draft. 1st/2nd round tweener grade from Brugler.
  14. "I'm a great player but an even better person" Sure sign of reading your own press clipping and possibly sniffing same.
  15. Him, or Rice. Klaus Fluornoy or Don Cornelius Johnson have a chance to develop.
  16. Arnold's suit is like when a red sock gets in the laundry with my tighty whities.
  17. Detroit trades into #24 Brugler's available 10 TERRION ARNOLD CB1 Alabama 18 GRAHAM BARTON OC1 Duke 23 JACKSON POWERS-JOHNSON OC2 Oregon 24 NATE WIGGINS CB3 Clemson 25 COOPER DEJEAN CB4 Iowa 27 TYLER GUYTON OT6 Oklahoma 28 JOHNNY NEWTON DT2 Illinois 29 JORDAN MORGAN OG2 Arizona 30 KOOL-AID MCKINSTRY CB5 Alabama
  18. Quick poll: Thomas Jr at 28. Value meets need or is he off your board?
  19. Who knows oatmeal better than Quakers
  20. Dolphin fans with requisite polite claps while internally sounding "WTF"
  21. Do it Fish, take Worthy. "He's 0.04 faster than the guy he's replacing, we gotta have him!!!"
  22. Dallas Turner apparently walked off a ski slope with those goggles.
