I don't hate him, and as a matter of fact, I liked alot of his moves that he made at the time........HOWEVER...... What I don't like is that he came in here with an excuse of cleaning up Butler's mess. He fixed that cap hell, and we are still failing 3 years later. So, it's getting harder to trust him. Also, he rode in and tried to strip everything that was precious to the Bills fan. And he did that so he could put his stamp on the franchise and it's not working. He got rid of some of our better players. Almost to a point to make it so that his regime had picked all the players that will get us back on the right track. He changed the uniforms. There was nothing wrong with the old one's. Our road uni's are the sickest looking uniforms in the league now. Changed the field color. Wanted to get rid of the Shout song. Changed the way we get season tickets. They used to come in a box with goodies that you could collect. Now, it's pretty much crap, IF it does make it to your house in the first place. He was quick and cocky in the way he came in to change things, and now that they aren't panning out, we all are wanting back some of the ole days! We were a little bit down when he got here, but it wasn't like he hit rock bottom with this franchise. Now look where we are. Tough to take.

Yeah, I hear ya. But, the teams I say we'll win against is BAD on BAD. I mean, Bad teams at other bad teams, is my reasoning. And you know we'll shock one team. Every team does that. The Phins ae just too depleted. The Niners game on the road could be the wildcard to the 6th win!

LMAO. Uh huh. The Jets also bumbled away the ball twice to us deep in our territory, and missed a FG. They also completed 70% of their passes. Pennington also had his first 300 yard game this season. They were also 60% on third downs. Wayne Chrebet had a season high 9 catches. They had eight WR's catch a ball. They had the ball for 34 minutes and racked up just under 400 yards. And they played sloppy. Yeah, the D was awesome!

finish at 6-10 and at least tie last year's record? That's 6-6 in the final 12. Will they get there? I say yes. We'll beat the Phins, Cards and Browns for sure at home. I still think we'll beat the Phins and or Niners on the road. That's 5. And we'll shock one team. That team will be the Steelers at home in the last game. 6-10.

Just a few other tidbits, outside of the many arguments against them in the other thread. I found these two on the Jets official site. Chad Pennington had his first 300-yard passing game of the year (304 yards) and completed 73% of his passes (31 of 42). Wayne Chrebet had a season-high eight catches for 90 yards, six of them for first downs. But, hey, we supposedly SLAMMED THE DOOR. Choked, Played decent, Torched, Torched and choked! And this doesn't even count all of the STUPID, STUPID, STUPID, personal fouls at the WORST times! I'm not even gonna get into dumb penalites agaisnt them yet! C- on the year so far!

You're right.....I rank them right up there....... The Super Bowl Ravens team, the 85 Bears, TB of 2 yrs ago, the Steel Curtain, and these Bills. They dominated yesterday, what could I be thinking!

I have to thank Petrino for starting this defense and it's A-1 season non-sense. We let Jax go the distance on us at home in week one with the game on the line. That is a Grade A-1 CHOKE. Jacksonville is a horrible offensive team. That's the main reason it's classified as a choke. Smash mouth, defense oriented team. We had JAX right were we wanted them. WIth our A-1 defense between them, 80 yards away from a score. And they scored. (Cough cough) Oakland - A bad team also. Also struggles on offense. And while I think we did OK on the road, there's still the blunder of what was it??? Third and 30 and they scored? Oakland has some of the worst QB'ing in the league. (COUGH COUGH) NE - Ummmmm, they lit us up like a Chrimmus tree. And now the Jets. LOL. Pennington completes 31 of 42 for christs sakes. That's over 70%. The Jets score 16 points, miss a FG, and Pennington makes a horrible throw to bail out the Bills when he hit Posey at the 25 with what was a terrible decision to throw that pass. Also, how about the play when a streaking WR lost the ball because he didn't cover it up (Priouleau punched it out) and that gave the ball back to us also. Ummmmm, they also had the ball for 34 minutes, and accumed about 400 yards of offense despite making numerous mistakes. See, why Jets fans think they easily could have scored 30 plus points? Ummmmmm, let's grade it now..... Choked, Played slightly above average, Torched, and Torched! They only things we can hang our hat on is run defense up the gut, and we are getting some turnovers. Season Grade C- Not saying the offense is any better, but this defense is no where near worth its money!

Was that the reason? Cuz the defense kept us in it? How come like 90% of the people didn't see it that way? Did the JEts shoot themselves in the foot? I don't know.....could it be that Pennigton's AWFUL pass right to Posey when he should have eaten it and they would have kept marching. Or maybe the play in which the Bills were torched on, when Prioleau punched the ball out of the JEts hands and we got it back. Kind of see how the Jets think they underachieved by not scoring 30 points? Shooting themselves in the foot with a brain cramp by Pennington, and a dumb NON conver up of the ball by a WR. The defense was awful yesterday. They were awful against NE. They choked against JAX Yeah, keep telling me how good they are.

Not a chance in hell. The Bills WILL win this week. This is one of the few locks of the year in the betting dept. Take the Bills this week. No doubt. This coming from me, who has bet agaisnt them every week this season and won. TAKE THE BILLS. This one is automatic!

No doubt, but alot of cap money is sunk into this defense, eating at the salary cap. So WIN ME A FRIGGIN GAME ONE TIME ON DEFENSE when it's on the line with the lead. One fuggin time. It hasn't happened. And no Bills fan has any confidence that it will happen. We all knew what would happen yesterday. All of us.

Ummmmmmm, except that we aren't an offensive built team. We are the supposed, smash mouth, grit it out, and win with defense kind of team. And this defense CHOKES every time the game is handed to them with a late lead. It doesn't matter if we are up 10-9, 14-13 or 44-43. We are built to be a power offense-defense oriented team. And this defense fails at it over and over and over.

Yeah, 7 is standard. Or I thought it was. 10 % juice. The Bills are golden to bet against. EXCEPT this week. The Bills are GOLD this week at home. I will have another $300 on them for a change. ALSO, if you are a betting man, the hidden gem are the conferences that they aren't good at setting a line on in college. Case in point. The MAC, which is where Big Ben is from. The dominant teams ALWAYS cover the spread in the MAC. ALWAYS. Big Ben was golden money last year, and this year, you ride Toledo, Northern Illinois, and Bowling Green and count your money every week. Gold I tell you, GOLD!

If I'm not mistaken, he also got those yards against the Colts and Chargers. Those teams on defense are self-explanatory!

Leftwich has thrown for over 300 yards the last two games becasue they were losing late. Pure and simple. Watch them play. They are painful on offense. And Leftwich is a QB with a TON of limitations.

No I don't see a pattern. Jacksonville's offense is brutal. Pure and simple. And we let them go right down the field AND SCORE ON US AT HOME in crunch time. Outstanding D's don't do that. Period. Oakland........We just proved we are a bad team outright, when we looked like crap against them. NE - TORCHED US AT HOME. OUTSTANDING defenses rarely get torched, especially at home. And especially when we had clear momentum in that game numerous times. And the Jets.............they had their way with us. They got sloppy, and it seemed we were so bad, we kind of lulled them to sleep. When they had to produce, and when they received a wake-up call, they SHREDDED our D. In crunch time...AGAIN. It's not like this hasn't happened before. This D has a a PATTERN of collapsing in crunch time, or on big plays. All of you geniuses wanted a smash mouth, grit it out, win with defense football team. And with that type of approach, you need a D that can win it, when it's in their hands late. And this D has collapsed over and over with games on the line.

You've gotta be kidding me....again..... Jax - offense is every bit as bad as ours, and have been stopped by everyone this year. We were the only team that coudn't stop them when it counted. Oak - Bad team period. Have also been shut down by everyone, and their QB's have been awful. NE - Torched us, period. NY - Ummmmm, pretty much had their way with our D. Sputtered a bit by shooting themselves in the foot a few times, and also executed a lot of passes while hitting WIDE OPEN WR's. They also also, moved it with ease in crunch time. AGAIN!

Bet against the Bills every week to soothe your pain. I've won every week so far. It's really easy and it eases the pain of a gut wrenching loss. Although, don't bet against them this week. This is the week to bet on the Bills. The best bets, and automatic bets are simple. You tease two teams. YOu have to win both games. You always bet against the Bills on the road, and by teasing them, you can subtract 7 points from the pointspread the Bills are getting. And you always bet the Colts at home. No matter what. So yesterday presented a golden opportunity for me..... You see, it worked liked this.....and BANG I'm up $300. Teasing two teams.....you would have gotten.....the Jets +1, and the the Colts -2 against the Raiders. Now, how easy was that bet? I'm just pissed that my book only accepts bets up to $300. So, for good measure, I teased the Colts again at -2, and coupled them with Pittsburgh at +1. EASY Money yestesday. Up $450 for the day!

Ummmmmm, Big Ben is a stud period. He's better than Losman. I'm not saying this now....as a matter of fact, I said it all last year, as I am an avid watcher of the MAC conference. I am from a MAC school, and I never have seen a player come through a MAC school as good as Big Ben. That includes Randy Moss, Pennington, and Leftwich. Big Ben dominated the MAC like on other player before including Moss. His Miami (O.) team was pretty damn good last year. They were men among boys in the MAC and Big Ben rarely made mistakes in college. He is poised, and he is very accurate. He has the size......you could just tell he had something special last year when he played for Miami. He will easily turn out to be the class of that draft class. I'm not sure how good Manning will be, and I think Rivers and Losman will be productive.....but Big Ben has all the tools and the head to be great.

Another way of looking at how average this defense is...... JAX maybe has a worse offense than we do, if that's possible, Oakland is a bad team, NE torched us, and the Jets pretty much had their way with us, shooting themselves in the foot a couple of times. This defense is NOT one of the best in the league.

Exactly, the strength of this team and alot of the money of the cap is in this defense. And it constantly gets beat when it counts!

Ummmmmm, this defense has choked TWICE this season when it counted. Good defenses don't do that. Baltimore's defense is the focal point of their team. Their defense would have relished to be in the position ours was in in both the Jax game AND the NY game.
