  1. Marv gave Nate his word last season that he would not franshise him again.
  2. Yes, we will make him an offer, but it will not be anywhere close to what he feels he can get on the open market.
  3. I want Nate back here. He is one of the best cornerbacks in the league and he deserves to be paid like one. However, he is not Champ Bailey, and he does not deserve to be paid like Champ Bailey. When he retires, Bailey may go down as the best CB of all time. I wish that we would be able to sign Nate for Chris McAllister type money, but I don't think that it will happen.
  4. Nothing earth shattering. Said that both sides will not discuss a new contract until the season is over. Clements agent indicated that after the season ends, the closer that Nate gets to FA, the more likely he would like to test the waters. The reporter (can't remember his name) felt that Nate will not be returning.
  5. From what I have seen of him this year, Whitner has not demonstrated that he has the coverage skills to play CB. He has had trouble covering Tight Ends, so Wide Receivers will be even harder.
  6. Or possibly third down HB option pass, especially in the Red Zone.
  7. This might be the simplest, best idea for those damn plastic packages...the package shark. http://www.asseenontvnetwork.com/packageshark/?cid=157123
  8. Just over 54,000
  9. Apparently you don't watch ESPN. The turnovers and two defensive TDs didn't beat the Jags last week, Vince Young beat the Jags last week.
  10. Her boyfriend's name wasn't Scott Tenorman by any chance was it?
  11. They both do. I understand that throwing her in jail might discourage other vicitims of sexual assualt to not come forward. However, this is such an incredible case of liable/slander that she needs to be punished severely. Nifong is another story altogether. He has been negligent and should be removed from the bar and forced to be restitution (as well as the city of Duruhm) to the real victims, the three lax players. These kids lives have been ruined.
  12. "8 Inches of Dangling Fury, and Other Hijinx"
  13. "If you can hear me, if it got into your brain somehow, that I spread my buttcheeks as Mike Honcho." Sorry, I couldn't let the thread die yet.
  14. I am a Daigo.
  15. I agree. Golden Flyers think alike!
  16. I'll sure say so!
  17. Hillary is very capable of getting goodwill out of me. She can start by being accountable for the promises that she made when she decided to run for office here. How quickly the voters of Upstate New York forget that Hillary promised to create 200,000 jobs by the time she was up for re-election in 2006. I think that you got to the jist of my post, namely the fact that tens of millions of people dislike her. Everything that she does is put under a microscope and it is my opinion that spending $20,000 to buy up football tickets would be a nice gesture and would probably go far, but buying $200,000 tickets would be viewed as excessive and wasteful and would probably backfire against her.
  18. I bet she is hung like a mule.
  19. She has not "officially" announced that she is running. And if you don't think that FOX News would have a field day with the fact that Hillary pissed away $200,000 on football tickets so the people of WNY can watch the Bills on television you are nuts. Spending this money would be a huge waste and the potential negative impact on her being elected President far outweighs any positive that can be gained.
  20. I am suprised that someone hasn't tried to bump him off yet.
  21. What campaign? She hasn't declared for the Presidency and she isn't running for the Senate for another six years. People have very short memories. Which goes back to the use of funds. She can generate publicity by donating the money to needy families, even if it is for her campaign fund. Again, spending $200,000 on Football tickets to appease a bunch of fair weather fans is incredibly stupid. Hillary would look like and would be an idiot.
  22. Couple of things: A.) She is hasn't even declared a run for the Presidency yet. B.) She is not in an election year So it would make it hard to justify spending campaign contributions. What you are saying is very logical, and makes a lot of sense. Unfortunately for her, this would also provide a great opportunity for the opposition to attack her, sayng that she is wasting money or buying votes. By the time her camp was able to explain where the $200,000 came from it would be too late. For the record, I do not like her and think she is a carpet bagger.
  23. Because of the amount. If it were around $20,000 then yes, I would see your point, but $200,000 to "boost the morale" of football fans (who obviously don't care enough to buy tickets for themselves) is crazy. How many of her critics would say that she was better off donating that money to a homeless shelter, or needy families, or Iraqi veterans, or Katrina victims, or instert charity here....she would be lampooned in the press and by her opponents.
