    I am not his biggest fan but he does, on occassion, make some good points. Cowhered believes that lack of spending in free agency and player movement is a strong indication that the owners believe that there will be a strike in 2011. Both sides are foolish - they are going to kill the golden goose.

    From my understanding, Chiefs, Blackhawks, Seminoles, Illini, etc. is different than Redskin, which was a deragatory term, not unlike the slang terms for other ethnic groups that would not use to name sports teams after. Use your imagination. I was pointing out some are offended by the name. It is not up to me to judge.

    While common sense might say that he is done, he will certainly have a chip on his shoulder and might just work his butt off to really stick it to the Chargers. He just seems like the type.

    But that is just it. Who gives a crap what fans might think, Buddy Nix is highly respected in NFL circles as a talent evaluator. For our sake I hope that it was Nix that was quoted becasue it makes perfect sense.
