  1. Runyan is like Rodney Harrison, one of those guys that you hate if he is on the other team but great to have on your side. . He would bring the nastiness that this O-Line is missing.
  2. Take it for what it is worth, since they refer to Fat Mike as Pat Williams, but: "All things being equal, sure I'd like to stay with the Eagles," Runyan said, and quickly added that he has not heard from the Eagles about a contract. "I like it here. But we just have to see how it goes. "Last time, I was a little anxious; I wanted to get that financial security. This time I can pick and choose." When the market opens Monday, delayed three days as the NFL hopes for a new CBA, Runyan and New Orleans center LeCharles Bentley are the most attractive unrestricted offensive linemen. Buffalo, which released its starting right tackle, former No. 1 pick Pat Williams last week, could be Runyan's most ardent suitor. http://www.nj.com/eagles/times/index.ssf?/...2230.xml&coll=5
  3. You are dead on Promo. He is going to play for a contender for far less than even the restructured deal that we would offer him. His agents second proposal was a "hey look we tried our best to stay in Buffalo" ploy. I can't say that I blame him. He probably only has 2 or 3 good seasons left in him. If he is going to start over again, like he is here for the 5th time in his career, he might as well go someplace where he can win a title.
  4. More upside than Holcomb? I am not saying that Holcomb has any upside, but Martin has been in the league for 11 yrs. He is a carbon copy of Holcomb.
  5. It would have been great if the quote indicated a "source deep within the organization".
  6. "Coach Dick Jauron and general manager Marv Levy have indicated they might also bring in another quarterback to compete with J.P. Losman and Kelly Holcomb. San Diego's Drew Brees is the top name available but the Bills' Web site has speculated on the Rams' Jamie Martin being a more likely candidate, given his ties to offensive coordinator Steve Fairchild, formerly of the Rams. " Not who I was hoping for.
  7. I was thinking drawn and quartered on the grounds of stupidity...but shooting them is cool too.
  8. Did you ask any of the posters to restructure following their release?
  9. The start of Free Agency was pushed out 3 days...
  10. Bring the Stormin' Mormon back!!!!!!
  11. You caught me as I was correcting my last post...
  12. Bannan, Denney, Edwards, Matthews, Jerman, Josh Reed, Teague, Schneck (They are all UFAs)
  13. Aiken, Haggan, Stamer, Greer, Peters, Shaud, and Fast Freddie
  14. That is great, since Snyder is one of the greedy bastards that won't support revenue sharing which in turn is holding up the extension of the CBA. It is blowing up in his face.
  15. Good point Griz. I think that it certainly gives the Bills the upperhand. They can restructure his contract and he will still get significantly more now than he would on the open market. It also limits the number of contenders out there that can bid for his services. That could be why the Bills have waited to release him, anticipating the situation that we have now.
  16. Well that is just great. Our QB is so friggin bad that he could cause an entire team to relocate.
  17. How the hell did this thread get legs?
  18. If Moulds borrowed Favre's shorts maybe JP would have thrown to him more often.
  19. Just thought I'd let you know.
  20. Ngata is Big and Quick. He posted a 5.2 40 time, which is fast for a man of his size.
  21. We could do a lot worse. I think he has one or two seasons left in him.
  22. I am a Yankee fan as well, but not a baseball fan in general. It wouldn't affect my passion for the Bills, as they would still be my favorite team, but it might affect my overall interest in the NFL.
  23. I believe that you can only prorate siging bonuses over the first for years of the contract and I feel that he will not take less than $15M for a signing bonus, that is why I used 16. I can see where we can manipulate the base for the first few years to lower the cap hit.
