I think a big reason is the eagles draft BPA. They just sit back and let the best players fall to them, and take them. They don’t reach for WRs (Coleman) or Safety (Bishop) or CBs (Elam) because it’s a need. Seriously, go back the last 4-5 years and check out how good the eagles and lions have drafted. The Rams too but they trade a lot of picks. Our drafting by comparison isn’t close, and I think that’s the main reason we can’t get over the hump.

We have given out some pretty bad contracts. That deal averages $45 mil a year. That’s basically the cap hit of Spencer brown and Ed Oliver. or Knox, Samual, Palmer, and Rapp.

For whatever reason, Allen totally changed his technique in that game. He stalled and went way left. It was almost a full hesitation . Allen still goes to his left every time and hesitates a little, which is dumb. He also stands too tall. These things need to be corrected. the bills also need to show a fake tush push play. Like the Bledsoe/mcgahee fake, or a jump pass, something, anything, to keep defenses honest. A WR flexed out to the wide side of the field, covered one on one, and able to get open on a slant would also be an option (if we had competent WRs) find a 2nd or 3rd and 1, where we are in a 4 down situation, and run the fake. If it fails, run the push.

I think the coaches have been modeling him into a game manager for a few years now, and this is what they want.

Elijah Moore had a great hustle play and threw a block which sprung him. It was about 20 yards down field. I like that guy. Elijah ‘needs to play’ Moore
