True and this is horrible to think about. But if Allen doesn't win the super bowl he still deserves to be in the Hof. The accolades will matter I mean it's common in sports. Ppl debate about who's the best, numbers, rings etc

I have always wondered like other Bills fans if we drafted Marino instead of Kelly.

It matters when he is retired and it's time for legacy conversation. The media painted him with a fake narrative about turnovers for whatever reason. Pay attention to the conversation when he is brought up, it's an endless diatribe about turnovers non stop Not only is the narrative not true it's actually the opposite. So I honestly don't know what the ap is going to think when it comes to accolades. I know Allen should easily have a lot more but maybe ppl disagree

He beat mahomes in 21,22, and 23 He beat Lamar on the road in 22 He was 6 passing touchdowns away from being the only QB in NFL history to have 35+ passing touchdowns 4 years in a row. Only QB in NFL history to have 40 plus tds 4 years in a row Someone look up his number of player of the weeks from 20-23 Allen during that 4 year span has more playoff tds than Lamar, burrow, Herbert and Lawrence combined Allen has a higher td% and lower int % than mahomes in the playoffs during that 4 year span... The only accolade he received was a 2nd team all pro in 2020. For context favre has extremely similar numbers from 95-97 and won 3 straight MVPs. No QB ever won a second MVP until he won a championship. That precedent was the case going back to Unitas if I'm not mistaken

I have to pull up the games. Everyone older has told me Bradshaw was better in the playoffs especially in bad weather. But maybe that's bias. Marino in the 90 division Rd was really good vs buffalo but Kelly was on fire. Couldn't stop lofton

What is your opinion of the 19 playoff game comeback vs the Texans. One of the greatest offensive performances I've ever seen by a QB imo. If Miami wins this game against a legitimate Superbowl contender in Green Bay against an awesome QB in love imo in 20 degree weather and lower temps with wind chill I'll be very surprised. If you took out all of Allens rushing production he has still tied Peyton Manning in passing tds in his first 6 Years starting with less ints Allen is 2nd in just passing touchdowns since 2019 ( like 12 behind mahomes), and 2nd in passing tds since 2020. ( He's like 6 passing touchdowns behind mahomes) Allen has already tied Kelly in passing tds in the playoffs I have to check but I think Allen is like 3rd or 4th or tied for 4th in just playoff passing touchdowns in his first ten playoff games Allen has a passer rating of 98 in the regular season and playoffs since 2020 Mahomes is like 101 since 2020 in the regular season and playoffs

I'm guessing nobody prominent wants anything to do with the jets so woody is bringing in tannenbaum because he trusts him as a friend. That's fine I guess But if he's smart he'll listen to Rick Spielman. A football guy from a great football family and solid resume. He's not perfect and has some misses but he's not a clown. High character guy Id honestly just hire Rick spielman as gm and let him run things if I was in Woody's shoes. If tannenbaum is in charge or he's making the hire this is going to be a disaster. Tannenbaum should simply be a friend here looking out for Woody's interest and nothing more hopefully.
