    $45M sounds big until you realize it’s less than 0.02% of the VA’s budget - basically a rounding error. One Mar-a-Lago weekend costs taxpayers almost 10% of that. Cutting union contracts doesn’t free up money for vets it silences the very staff who care for them, leading to burnout and worse outcomes. This is about union-busting, not veterans’ health.
