  1. Who knew the true legacy of winning WWII was ensuring that no one from another culture could ever live in Europe. Strange how rebuilding shattered economies and forging global alliances somehow led to people moving around the world - who could’ve seen that coming? The classic defending cultural purity argument. Because nothing says strong national identity like fearing that exposure to different cultures will make one’s own vanish overnight. Perhaps instead of worrying about the so-called “conquering” by diverse groups, we might focus on how such interactions can enrich and strengthen a nation’s cultural tapestry. After all, a confident culture doesn’t fear influence it thrives on it. I bet you’ve spent so much time in London and Paris, soaking in the culture and diversity or is your only experience based on whatever’s trending in your deranged echo chamber on social media?
  2. Ah, yes, we fought a world war to stop tyranny and fascism, only for Europe to be “destroyed” by... people bringing different food, festivals, and cultures? Truly, the real enemy wasn’t Nazis, it was kebabs and halal markets. History books missed that one. What a twist—WWII was just the prequel to the real threat: diversity.
  3. This thread has been dormant for two weeks. I wonder why
  4. It’s interesting you bring up Iraq. Yes, the Bush administration was criticized and rightly so. But this doesn’t suddenly make Putin’s war “okay” or morally equivalent. And yes, you are justifying Putin's actions - and it doesn't make them any less heinous.
  5. No one's surprised by this - except, of course, Trump supporters.
  6. This aged well. Trump’s America has become a paradise for criminals of all kinds.
  7. Diseases are not constrained by secure borders. With a valid passport or visa, an asymptomatic polio carrier can easily board a flight to the US, pass through customs, and potentially spread the disease. There are numerous diseases and silent carriers who may enter the country legally. As I’ve mentioned, we will regret this.
  8. That's exactly what he said. Roll Call Factba.se - Speech: Donald Trump Addresses the Staff at the Department of Justice - March 14, 2025 Donald Trump 00:31:04-00:31:27 (23 sec) But these networks and these newspapers are really no different than a highly paid political operative and it has to stop. It has to be illegal. It's influencing judges and it's really changing law and it just cannot be legal. I don't believe it's legal and they do it in total coordination with each other and everything we do, we're restoring law, restoring order and restoring public safety in America. That's what we want to do. Oh, but it’s totally fine when the right does it, huh? Classic.
  9. 1) The Ruble: 2) Funny how many conservatives conveniently forget which President was in office (hint: not the black one) when Russia invaded Georgia in 2008. Fast forward to today, and Russia still occupies 20% of Georgia’s territory, flexing its muscles through the claimed annexation of strategic lands like Abkhazia, and making plans for a permanent naval base in Ochamchire. 3) Oh, and those same conservatives? They seem to have selective memory when it comes to Olympic locations. They forget that the President of the United States doesn't get to hand out Olympic bids. So, in July 2007, when Russia was awarded the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, guess who was in office? (Spoiler: still not the black one.) But sure, blame Obama, as usual.
  10. While global health initiatives can certainly help protect America, that’s not my only motivation. These efforts are primarily driven by humanitarian concerns and the recognition that diseases don’t respect borders.
  11. Hopefully, in time, we won’t find out firsthand just how effective those proactive measures really were… but there’s little doubt we’ll regret every cent of these "savings."
  12. Everything Trump does is in Vladimir's interest.
