Here it is: The addition of Kincaid was clearly made by Buffalo’s front office with quarterback Josh Allen in mind. Not only did the QB approve of the measure, Allen hinted he was part of the Bills’ decision, even if just ever so slightly, to select Kincaid in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. “He’s very fluid in his route running. He’s a very fluid ball catcher. He tracks the ball well, so any time you get to add a piece to your offense like that, I can’t help but be excited. He seems like he’s a smart kid,” Allen said via the Buffalo News. “He’s going to help us out a lot.” “We’ll just say I was persistent in my talks with (Brandon) Beane and who I wanted. I was very, very happy with how it happened,” Allen added. Gonna need to Stud WR1, plus a really solid CB and a supersized DT

I definitively remember Beane and Josh stating that he wanted them to draft Kincaid. I will look it up and post as soon as I find it. No big deal though... Kincaid had a great first season, part of which i credit Diggs for. Diggs did draw attention and that let others get less attention which opened the door for more looks and receptions. Same thing for Gabe when we had prime Beasley. Diggs and Beasley drew so much attention. IMO, we desperately need a Jefferson, Chase type of WR1. We dont have Andy Reid, McVay, or Shannahan type to out scheme opponents. We need a dominant WR1 that demands defenses attention, which will open the doors for the others

I agree, but Josh seems okay with everything the way that it is. In fact he has had more input than people want to admit on someof our offensive personal. He hand selected Kincaid and Coleman. Its well documented he asked for both. Both underperformed this year and I personally don't think our coaches scheme to the strengths of our players on either side of the ball, but Coleman is what we see. Its what he was in college. Why do we keep drafting guys that we think we can change? I promise you if Mahomes kept losing to Josh and the Bills, he would demand top flight offensive weapons or he would threaten to walk. Knoxx, Kincaid, Coleman were and have been obsolete this year. We trade a 3rd for Amari Copper but never really target him. If we had the squad we had in 2021,we beat this version of the Refs, oops I mean Chiefs.

I feel the same way, but this loss is only the coaches and players fault. Yes we got screwed on some calls, but we still had the ball in our hands with 3 and some change on the clock and couldn't do squat with it, so that's not on the refs. We also had another opportunity to get the ball back with probably around 58 seconds and failed to stop them on 3rd and long. As usual, we become small in the biggest moments and that is on the players and coaches, mostly on the coaches.

I laugh at the Bills fans that say they are done

Chiefs had to come to us last year with the same results as this year. Tell yourself whatever you have to to cope, but until something massive changes, which I completely lost confidence that it will with Beane and Mc, then they will come to our house and beat us there. It's been done already. The time to go for studs with attitudes is what it will take. Trade drafts picks foe those guys if we have to, because our 1st and seconds are blown on incompetent players. If it's not the players than it's the coaches and development of those players! -
Just some thoughts before I log off for a while...

Random talking head says something about the Bills

The media's main objective to to race bait. Theyve been doing it for quite sometime. The reality is most dont buy into it, but the few minority and that is their hope. Black, White, Asian, it really doesnt matter to most. We are fans of our teams and we could care less what color our superstars are. -
A vet on a 1 year deal isn't gonna kill us, especially since we won't have Von. There were many on this board who were clamoring for the likes of Clowney and Houston and Ngakoue. Mack is better than all of those guys.

AFCCG, Bills v. Chefs, PREDICT THE SCORE!
jaybeezee replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Buffalo wins! Thats my prediction. Dont care by how much, or how little. -
Stay the course my friend! They'll get over it. Its kinda like a frat here. The newbees get shamed and blasted (some deserved), but the usual's and long tenured can post all kinds of things and no one says squat to them.

I welcome your opinions brudda! I read your post and didnt think anything was wrong with it. I too have thought about the fact that we lost all of our SB's to the NFCE. If and when we get there this year, we aint losing to either of them unless Josh isnt playing in the game, which he would with One arm and no legs if he had too.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Whats crazy to me is how there are some (Clark) himself that stated that Lamar, out of the many other great, current Black QB's most identifies with the Black community, which is a slap in the face to Hurts, Stroud, Daniels, Love, Geno Smith, and many other Black QB's. I ask myself, why? Is it because Lamar wears Grillz? Clark is part of the problem that tries to rope in the Black community with stereotypes and there are not many that agree with his BS in the community. Lamar has 2 MVP's already, which the second one i dont agree with, so if it was a Black/White thing, then he wouldnt have even won any. He is praised way more than Josh is by most. Good thing is Lamar himself is a top tier human being and would never get caught up in BS that Clark and others stir up. Josh Allen loves Lamar and respects the heck out of him, going as far to state that he is one of the greats and he was honored to share the field with him. Clark needs to be fired from ESPN and moved over to CNN with a show that starts at 2AM on weeknights! I actually despise RC more that the other dipstick that said he couldnt stand Josh because his fans have American Flags and Dogs as their avatars. -
I lived in Baltimore working for the Orioles at Camden for several months. Buffalo and Baltimore are similar in many ways. Both cities have had our fair share of losing industries, crime and drugs ravaging our once beautiful cities, as well as being looked at as a Third tier city and treated ignored by our government because we arent DC, or NYC. You all have had more success than we have over the past 20 years or so, with at least 2-SB wins. Imagine being us, always on the cusp, but never quite good enough (or lucky enough) to actually win it all.

I'd take a 1-year flyer on him. I doubt he wants to play much beyond a year. I dont believe the Chargers will pay him big, so he will have to take whatever they give him, which probably wont be much more than 8mil, which i would pay to have his vet presence, as well as his productivity. Von wont be back with us and there are some prospects on the draft, but we will be taking a DT with our 1st and after that it will be CB and WR with both 2nds if we keep them, so we are looking at a 4th round project DE most likely, which is fine if we have Mack, or even better Kendricks.

Good stuff! The way to get past all that is just to keep a positive mindset. Visualize us celebrating on their field and watching Mahomes pout and storm off the field, while Kelce gives Josh props and wishes us good luck in the SB. Stressing it aint gonna do much for you, except stress you out bro. Keeping the positive mindset and visualizing us winning convincingly will manifest this victory.

Not nervous at all. This is the most confident ive ever been facing them. Yes, they aren't the team that we beat earlier in the season and the have most of their weapons on offense back healthy, but we are also different and are somewhat healthy as well. Josh and Brady just have to game plan for heavy blitzes. I would love to see a lot of play action and roll outs for Josh.

AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
jaybeezee replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
You are right about the psychological aspect of beating a team that ends your season consistently, but after that Ravens game, I believe that Coach McD is ready and has the team ready. What a great start to 2025 this will be when we beat them in their house. Most of America is already rooting for us to do this! -
He had 17 sacks in 2023/2024 season. I know he only had 6 this year, but they did change up their Defense this year. I agree that it is a risk, but watching him play in the post season showed me that he still has some juice, plus he doesnt have the injury history that Von does. Plus he would have to want to be here and from the way the he sounded, he would likely prefer to stay in LA.
-
I would be onboard taking him for a year. I think he has just enough left to make a difference and would be a suitable, potentially affordable replacement for Von. This would bring his career full circle. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/43518964/source-pass-rusher-khalil-mack-decides-play-2025

It's not negative to address an area that we may need to focus on going into our biggest game. He will be targeted quite often by KC.
