I would do it and move Kingsley to the PS if possible. Look our top LB is gone, the secondary took a big hit with Tre and both safetys are slow. More pass rush would help. And let me throw this out there... The Johnson Defense that Mcdermott was raised in was a 4-3. Sign clark, move Miller to the WLB and lets roll with a 4-3. Think on that for a minute...

You will get bashed and negative rep for this, but my buddy and I had this discussion late Sunday. After all the injuries so far and letdowns like Sunday... I wonder if they are thinking exactly that. No matter what many fans say, these 2 are human, and they want to win, but you have to wonder if the "here we go again " mindset hasn't creeped in. I remember watching SB 28, and after Thurman fumbled early 2nd half, you saw the "$#@! Here qe go again" go across every Bills face amd it was over. Thank-you Bill. Many fans forget they are human. You know Diggs isn't thrilled as he wants a SB win. I am going to get torn to shreds, but I got big shoulders...you can't tell me at least once it hasn't crossed Josh's mind that he may not win a SB here. Sorry no way in hell it hasn't.

Honestly, Terry needs to fire McDermott if this is true. He keeps going back to former players in his system and this guy is 400 years old like you said. He SUCKED and became a national embarrassment for us the last time he played here. If he were still worth a damn, he would have been on this roster this entire time. I mean at some point he has to go and get someone else who may fit his scheme, it very concerning he isn't. And from what I saw Sunday, we need a guy who can come in and replace the totally inept Elam or at least play the nickel.

No. get Elam off the roster for a box of tape and a 5th next year for all I care. We are going to need him next year when we have to clear a ton of cap space/ have cuts. He and Groot need to be the starting DE's going forward. I don't even know if Von can come back at this point, but with his contract, we might have to keep him. With Von's age and injury history, he will be a situational pass rusher, not an every-down DE so AJ has to stay

At this point, I say 10-7 or 11-6 and the odds are a WC spot. If we play at home I say we win that one and get bounced in the 2nd round again. The harsh reality is this offseason there can't be any more "run it back BS" We have 2 old and slow safeties that have to go. As much as I hate to say it, we need to reach an injury settlement with Tre this offseason. ACL then a torn Achilles and with his contract and age... we have to think of the Business component. We are a ton of the cap so more cuts will be coming. I'm not saying full rebuild, but it's between a re-tool and rebuild and it just happens. We have had a nice multi-year run and it comes time to clean house and bring in new blood and it hurts for a season or 2, but we have Josh so that helps.
