I will. Hopefully we have some more healthy guys on Defense next time and play a clean game with no penalties. Allen will remember those guys trash talking him after that last drive, that is how he has always been. He looked super pissed in the postgame pc. -
For all you McDermott haters, who would you want? (Now a poll)

We have Josh Allen so we have as good a chance as anyone. -

I just watched Josh in the post game and he said "Bad Snap Exchange" when asked about the play with knox. Allen was clearly ticked off in the postgame pc. On the last play of the game after we didn't get the PI, you could see one of the pats lineman was taunting josh and he said shut up you effing B. Cant wait till we play them again. -

No, that throw was in the middle of the field which was very crowded because two wr were running similar routes at different depths. That was a really tough throw. Maybe he didn't throw to samuel because he didn't want to risk it since they were in fg range alread but there was a lot of open space and allen has an amazing arm. I am all for Allen firing away there and taking that shot, again though, in rhythm in the pocket and not after he is outside the right hash. -

I wouldn't have. I am not scared of Josh making that play and I don't complain about Interceptions. Sometimes you have to take shots. I have been pretty consistent I don't fear Josh throwing Int. -

Yes and if we had Sam Darnold as our QB I would agree with you. I 100% believe Allen can make that throw. I also think Samuel would score if he does but I am open to the idea that maybe he would have been stopped short. But I 100% think Allen can make that throw. -

yea my first thought was it was a fake to knox and then a pitch to cook or a fake to knox and then throw it to knox in the flat. I guess it doesn't matter. -

You can go through the back of a wr while the ball is in the air since the qb is out of the pocket? Since when? Illegal contact is forgiven with the qb out of the pocket but I don't recall when a defender is allowed to go through the back of a wr early and make that play. It was PI and he knew it and couldn't believe it when it wasn't called. He was sitting there waiting for the flag. -

He clearly just completely botched the handoff. Allen gave it right to him. They always statistically give these fumbles to the qb though which confuses a lot of people thinking its on the qb. This was clearly not. -

Diggs got a free release all game at the line of scrimmage. There were a few times where he ran like 5 to 7 yards before anyone was even around him. It was made so easy for him to get open and get the ball quick. -

To be clear with everyone who has confused this with a bashing allen post. I believe Allen can make that throw all day to samuel, over the linebacker and in between the safety and corner who is sitting at the 18 yard like. We have seen him make tons of throws over linebackers and between safeties. This is actually the opposite of a bash allen thread. here are two simple examples of Allens incredible arm strength doing just that. -

Here is the knox fumble. Gilliam and Kincaid on the line next to brown were blocking at the snap. This looks like it was a straight handoff to knox and the timing was sort of off and knox just fumbled the ball somehow. -

I am looking forward to the explanation on that play. Was it a handoff to knox on a jet sweep trying to be a surrpise ish play....was it a fake to knox with a pitch to cook? was it a fake to cook and a play action pass (Probably intended for knox in the flat) and knox just knocked the ball out of his hand because the timing was off? it will be nice to hear what that play actually was but they won't tell us. -

You are calling me an idiotic poster? I am not blaming Allen, just pointing out he had a throw to samuel if he stays in the pocket or even stops and sets his feet after taking those first two to three steps to his right. After he is outside of the right hash no one thinks or has said he is going to throw the ball to samuel, throwing to samuel is about staying in the pocket and throwing in rhythm to an open wr. Second, I am not in my moms basement. However, my moms basement is really really nice. My dad is a carpenter and our basement was her office for work, fully finished with all the perks including a bathroom. I would like to be in my moms basement because that would mean i am in ny and with my family. Unfortunately I am in North Texas at my desk working. I am I guess old though. -

Yes, this is the main point here. They called holding on mcgovern when it appeared his left hand was open and just grazed the linemans chest. That call was really tightly called and then to ignore the obvious one there was bizzare. -

to be clear I am not nitpicking. Every play has something else that could have happened that would have been better or worse per se. Just pointing out it was absolutely interference by 0 and I think allen could have fired one into samuel for a td or near TD. Swallowing the whistle on that play after all the calls all night was really odd. And a side note which doesn't really matter but Allen got two hands to the face on the throw right in front of hochuli! -

You don't have to tell me anything boss. You are the guy who was screaming in the game thread that Coleman should be benched in the first quarter and no one can get open down the field. So you know. -

I don't expect him to throw it once he rolled right at all. My point is if that is thrown in Rhythm at best Gonzalez is going to make a tackle short of the goal line or late after samuel has the ball in the end zone. He doesn't run faster than Allen throwing a dart. I am not basing it on any screen shots. I am saying repeatedly here that in rhythm samuel is open as soon as he cleared the linebacker. Its a throw and a completion, personally I think its a TD but it may end up being short. -

He is not making up nearly 8 to ten yards of space if that ball is thrown on time. It may not be a TD but he is not intercepting that ball. You are wrong. If Allen stays in the pocket and throws that in rhythm its a completion. -

look at the still image. Samuel is at the 8 yard line and 0 is at the 18 still. There is no way he is getting there if allen loads up and throws a dart. And that is late in the play, had it been thrown on time its a completion for sure, maybe not a TD but a completion. -

MikePJ76 replied to MikePJ76's topic in The Stadium Wall
Uhh no. If the ball is thrown on time and out in front of Samuel its a TD or an incompletion. 0 is never getting to a ball thrown to the corner there in any scenario. 0 is at the 18 yard line and samuel the 13. Even if Allen throws it shorter on a line and its not a TD its a completion. -
A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game - Post yours as well
MikePJ76 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
If allen simply stands in the pocket and throws the corner route to Curtis Samuel its 24-20 Bills and The pats have to go the distance and score a td to win. It happens. Even the best players make mistakes. -
So yes, Shakir was interfered with as you can see in the image...he is hit the ball is not there yet.....But If Allen just stayed in the pocked he had a simple throw for an easy 30 yard TD to Curtis Samuel. Not sure why Josh bailed on good protection. Shakir was 100% hit early and also as you can see in the other image Allen was hit in the head after the throw. Everything was called in this game and they let these go for some reason. There is simply no explanation for it. TO Be Clear the second picture the ball in front of shakir was on its way to him not bouncing off. It was as obvious as it gets that it was PI why the whistle was swallowed who knows?
