  1. your arguments sound a lot like those of Mr Sauer (Trumps lawyer in front of Scotus right now). In both cases, let's let the system play out. Of course you don't trust the system in NY because it's a blue area. Do you similarly distrust SCOTUS cuz it's R dominated?
  2. Which is why trump will do absolutely anything including fomenting a civil war to get in the white house and pardon himself and/or throw out the cases....He's betting his life on "winning"
  3. and you apparently think Jan 6 was a tourist outing. Now that's dumb...
  4. Hmmm, Peacefully protest in quotation marks. He and all his scumbag cult know what he means: He wants violence and they're good with that...f'in trashy losers.
  5. He's intimidating witnesses. you know he is. the guy's a mobster and almost half of America wants to vote for him. WTF? Y'all grew up in WNY. Remember when the mob was big in NF and Toronto? Nice people as long as you didn't do business with them...I never had any trouble. In fact I lost a golf bet as a kid and couldn't cover and the guy I was playing with did. Bought me lunch too. but I'd never vote for him for prez...
  6. nope, never did...and I'm not running for prez as the religious choice.
  7. This song was recommended in an audio review. It's iconic. But it led me to Gunn which is even better.
  8. Fundamentalists don't support those 2. And they don't acquiesce to being called "god"...
  9. because just about everyone has a lawyer and accountant misrepresent a porn star payoff as a legal expense. Has anybody mentioned "Sleepy Don" in court. You can't make this stuff up; https://www.mediaite.com/politics/trump-glared-at-maggie-haberman-for-several-seconds-after-she-reported-he-fell-asleep-in-court/
  10. Fundamentalists all over America are ignoring the immoral scumbags actions just like you. The marriage is transactional? How Christian…
  11. That’s cool. Billsy is no more obsessive than many of the righties here tho. And he actually debates. As was said, it would be boring without disagreement. But I wish the two sides weren’t so far apart.
  12. you're always pointing these arrows at other posters. Perhaps some introspection would be useful.
  13. Any hospitalized pt was placed in isolation. That means a haz mat bag at the door that collected all workers masks, gloves and head covers when leaving - when there was enough PPP to afford this. Collecting the general population's used masks was never feasable. Nevertheless, death and infection rates in areas with high mask compliance were lower than in low compliance areas and even the best areas were no where near 90% compliance nor were masks disposed of systematically. That's what matters- real world studies.
  14. You're fixated on mask disposal. Mask use is what is paramount.
  15. and rightfully so. We're supposed to cure people not infect them.
  16. Of course we should and do follow Osha guidelines. The vax compliance rate among docs was 99% in my region. Masks were required at all times at work and compliance was excellent. Re fomites:https://stacks.cdc.gov/view/cdc/104762. Not a big player.
  17. you can't fix stupid. it's been proven on this forum repeatedly. There will always be the intellectually deficient. I need to do some looking but last I knew fomites (look it up) were not a significant source of Covid spread. Aerosolized droplets accounted for nearly all infections. Then it becomes a risk/benefit analysis which appears to be clearly on the side of masks as evidenced by the conclusion of the JAMA review I linked....
  18. I appreciate you taking up the challenge but one must look at multiple studies especially when they are observational. The strong preponderance of evidence points to this conclusion among most Infectious Disease folks: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8499874/ "all studies we analysed that did not find surgical masks to be effective were under-powered to such an extent that even if masks were 100% effective, the studies in question would still have been unlikely to find a statistically significant effect" A more recent review from JAMA: https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2811136 "Available evidence strongly suggests that masking in the community can reduce the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and that masking with the highest-quality masks that can be made widely available should play an important role in controlling whatever pandemic caused by a respiratory pathogen awaits us."
  19. They love their anecdotes. Real science is harder to understand
