  1. well, the environment is better. remember when rivers started on fire and all you could catch out of the niagara river was sheepheads. That was great. Salmon are better. Health care. huge advances in medicine. if we went to a single payer, that would be great. Public schools? Don't really know. you have an opportunity to make eat least one great. Universities are great now. Why are there so many top international students here. We compete with anyone in the higher ed field. Law firms? don't know but threatening those that are hired to prosecute those in power isn't great.
  2. No. D's are absolutely correct in keeping this issue in Americans thoughts. R's are absolutely wrong in not admitting the seriousness of this event and pulling all levers to stop it from happening again.
  3. Great article on the weaknesses of the Democratic Party and “strength” of the new Southern strategy for Republicans https://www.ncronline.org/opinion/ncr-voices/will-democrats-finally-start-place-class-issues-center Shor argued that the competing narrative — that Donald Trump's ascent was really a continuation of the GOP's "Southern strategy" after the Civil Rights Act, motivating white voters with racist dog whistles — was wrong. White voters did not shift very much in 2024. Trump's biggest gains were among Hispanic and Asian voters, especially immigrant voters. When Trump and Elon Musk portray themselves as blowing up "the establishment," working-class voters love it. The establishment hasn't done a lot for them in the past 40 years of neoliberal economics practiced by both parties. They aren't as scared of tariffs as college-educated people because free trade decimated their towns in the 1990s and they do not have robust 401(k)s taking a hit in the markets today.
  4. yeah, I'd guess alcoholic mobster from this one. Looks and talks like a real shyster. And these fools trust them with their retirement.
  5. listen to a well educated, erudite, reasoned argument about social security, trumpers. then start figuring out how to make ends meet.
  6. hope you're not depending on social security. that won't be fun.
  7. As we watch social security get dismantled and lutnick tell us that only cheaters will be upset if they don't get a payment or 2, I think the plan is to make the system so bad that people will accept privatization. Same for medicaid. same for the VA health system. Once privatized, ordinary Americans will be paying more for less or getting less from SS. trumpers will be harder hit than most. https://www.yahoo.com/news/senate-democrats-call-trump-revoke-212208588.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall "Now their goal is clear," Schumer told reporters flanked by Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., and Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore. "Destroy Social Security from within. Make it so unworkable, so inefficient, that Donald Trump has the pretext to slash benefits to kill it, and then privatize the program," he said. Can't say I feel bad for MAGA's sucking the teat of social security and disability and then losing their benefits. If privatized, presumably what you put in (plus interest) will be what you get out to invest. low earners are going to have little.
  8. except trump's budget doesn't do that. the 3 trillion in tax cuts isn't close to being offset by all of the program cuts together.
  9. criticizing crocket for this is ultimate hypocrisy. And trump's ugly gestures here don't bother you in the least. f'in barbarian.

  11. Some recognizable maga influencers who are paid by to promote positions. Not good places to get “ news” https://www.thebulwark.com/p/maga-influencers-break-with-rfk-soda-payola-scandal-influenceable-atlantic
  12. Those were trump’s words. You’re spiraling. Did you grandchildren get onto your account?
  13. no. he's convinced by this. a mountain of evidence couldn't convince him to take the covid vax but this washes right down, it's just easier to not need to actually think.
  14. goes to show, you don't need to be intelligent to be a special forces soldier, a congressman or a cabinet secretary. maybe he got knocked in the head a few times too many.
  15. are we talking personal scorecards or political teams? cuz I'd say we're winning personally and near the end of the first quarter as a team....
  16. i think he's trying to be an actual ethical journalist. I know how counterintuitive that is to propaganda reading maga's. if you had nazi or scummy tendencies, I'd definitely let you know. You don't.
  17. uh huh. it's a nursery school rhyme for you morons. that's the iq the propagandists are targeting. they know their audience.
  18. yes, you had data before Jan 6 and look how you reacted....
  19. bs...trump admonished biden for attacking the houthis. are you being purposefully ignorant or just run out of articles in high quality publications? https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/trump-attacked-bidens-crazy-yemen-war-now-hes-reopening-it/ar-AA1B6eMC Candidate Donald Trump thought that bombing Yemen was "just a failed mentality" when then-President Joe Biden did it. "It's crazy. You can solve problems over the telephone. Instead, they start dropping bombs. I see, recently, they're dropping bombs all over Yemen. You don't have to do that. You can talk in such a way where they respect you and they listen to you," Trump said in a May 2024 interview with podcaster Tim Pool. Trump is now dropping bombs all over Yemen.
  20. perhaps you should read the CIA directors words today more carefully https://www.yahoo.com/news/cia-director-flails-asked-added-164619410.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall “Now hold on Senator, you are mischaracterizing my testimony—” “You answered the question, let me ask you. When he was added to the thread—you’re the CIA director! Why didn’t you call out that he was present on the Signal thread?” “I don’t know if you use Signal messaging app—” “I do! Not for classified information. Not for targeting.” “Well neither do, I, Senator, neither do I, Senator.” “Well that’s what your testimony is today!”
  21. a female undercover CIA agent was exposed. No harm done, right? that's all it took to placate you fools...
  22. So this was a goldberg conspiracy to make it look like multiple cabinet members are morons...without even trying. The lengths your maga handlers go to in order to lead you around. It must be embarrassing for them. it should be shameful to you. the sad part is that it isn't.
  23. It evolved. paralleling the official story. First it was "nothing confidential discussed". Second was "tell the Houthi's that". 3rd was "someone screwed up". intermingled, was "I am whom I say I am". 4th was, "no harm, no foul". now you're caught up.
