  1. Rightly so. Dorsey has been a disaster. I didn't like him when he had his schoolboy breakdown last year and I don't like that he's been all about himself and not about the talent at his disposal. A toxic hire. Definitely an act of self preservation from SM. But a good one. There's still a minor glimmer of hope of playoff football and SM is too central to so much of the side to get rid now out of spite. The season isn't mathematically over and it's not time to give up - but we miss nothing in Dorsey's absence.
  2. Yeah, at one point - early on - he seemed to not commit to flattening Wilson when he had him in his sights. Although it does seem unlikely and the camera can lie
  3. The announcer said something that summed it up nicely for me "Buffalo has tried everything they possibly can to lose this game, but the defence just hasn't let them" Pithy and felt spot on, up to that last drive. Also ... I mean, this has to be it. We're the only team in the NFL doing this (I think). And we're the only team in the NFL that *looks* like it's doing it.
  4. This is sensible stuff
  5. I love following Buffalo, you know. I'm sure Superbowls are fun and all that. But the ride of following the Bills is something else. Even going to my first game in London and - within 10 minutes - seeing my favourite player, Milano, getting ended. I mean, you just can't account for all this can you? It's just the Buffalo way 🤣
  6. he seems to have turned it around 360 degrees
  7. one of the most incredible examples of beating yourself you will ever see clown stuff.
  8. damar on. ***** this is getting into omen territory
  9. I almost forgot we had that, massively effective, tool in the locker
  10. this is where i worry about dorsey. when it counts. prove me wrong ken
  11. good lord. this is a FREAK game
  12. if we win this, as a result of them missing two PATS - and us getting a random 2 point PAT - despite everything else that's gone on, then it will be one of the funniest results i've ever seen. so let's have it
  13. run defence has been good today
  14. nice if we can get a run game going when JA is off
  15. whatever the magic touch is, dorsey lacks it. everything is wrong.
  16. I don't mind losing, that happens (and this one isn't over) but I really don't like how we've managed to make ourselves so BORING
  17. well taking the 2 points at least makes sense now.
  18. not sure i understand the maths of going for 2
  19. von miller is moving like one of those dudes on easter island
  20. Spoilt-childsy is the term Nobody has a right to win. That's why glory is so wonderful.
  21. Easy to criticises McBeane for failure with Elam as a first pick, for sure. But not one person here saw what they saw in our third pick of the very same draft. Nobody can see the future with certainty. You win some, you lose some.
  22. Von looked to have a few bull rushes that looked more effective than anything we've seen from him this year. I don't think he's finished quite yet.
  23. Only managed to see the highlights. Nice to see such a varied offence, and a free looking Josh. D was a bit of a worry - tackling in particular. Boy we miss Milano. But anyone who has real SB expectations might as well be expecting it to rain blueberries.
  24. I feel that Josh is being asked to think too much. I have no proof for that. But it just strikes me as possbile. Some players in any sport play with feel, and some play with brains. Josh looks like one of the best when he's feeling the game and playing instinctively. You could see it y/day when he needed to score two quick TDs on the bounce - no problem. But it feels like he's being asked to be more rational, more processed, more a tool of the OC's ego, and it doesn't suit him. Daboll truly understood Josh and how to get the best of him - Daboll knew how to make Josh look good. I feel with Dorsey that it's more about Josh working to make HIM look good. He's turning an inspired unpredictable and - without wanting to go too far - genius-type player into a fairly dull and predictable QB. We're not even really using his arm, let alone his smarts on the run. It's a really bad match, it seems. Dorsey might even be a good OC. Just not here. Or, at least, not now.
