  1. Seems weird to go for it if you can't go for it successfully in the most basic way. Just take the points. .
  2. They won't know what hit them.
  3. I can't remember a game where Josh, alone, so obviously lost us the game. There have been similarly poor performances, but you could look to the O-Line and WR options to mitigate those somewhat. This was a game that could have been won five times over, and Josh let the side down. The upside, however, is that he will never have a starker realisation of what he must do/not do going forward - even if we've all sort of known it for years. And the best time to have that stark realisation, if you must have it, is on the road in week one. His interview suggests he totally knows he ***** up. If he doesn't improve after this, then he can't be called elite. But at least he 100% knows what he needs to do from now on. I doubt he'll want this feeling of letting down his teammates (who mostly did okay) ever again. I think he'll come out of this okay.
  4. Genuinely excited about this season. I don't know football as well as you guys, so I don't have SB expectations this year. Just not sure we've got what's needed. But I am really, really looking forward to seeing Josh and Kincaid this year. And, to a degree, Cook and Rousseau. I also actually get to see the team LIVE this year, for a change. And against Lawrence, which will be *****in awesome. Anyway, GO BILLS and I hope they bring you long suffering bastards all the joy you deserve this season.
  5. Good to see the calls for a coach to be fired starting in Week 1. Surprised they managed to come before Bills had played a down, though.
  6. I’m really excited by it. The red zone offence wasn’t at all what it should have been last season - or if stats show it was, it didn’t *feel* that way. Also way too much pressure on Josh on third downs. Seems positive to me.
  7. Well I thought all the straws had been grasped at, but we have a new level. We'd also have won the superbowl if we were the Kansas City Chiefs. Good grief
  8. The Pro Bowl came as a bit of a surprise if you (like me) didn't realise they'd changed the format.
  9. Anyone who refers to themselves as an 'Alpha' needs locked in a box for a thousand years to have a good, hard think about themselves.
  10. What a bull#### anticlimax game of football
  11. Niners forums want Shanahan OUT and Payton IN Which is reassuring.
  12. This Johnson is living the dream But it's that one where you are drumming for Led Zeppelin but can't hold your drumsticks.
  13. That's one of the worst things I've ever seen That's the sort of mistake that will turn a man into an alcoholic in later life
  14. Feels weird. These games were Buffalo free for most of my life. But these ones feel somehow painful to watch.
  15. I'm not picking a fight, I promise. But how was this our year? I get the argument at the start - no1 seed etc - but that vanished pretty much on contact with the season. But it was pretty early into the season that it seemed clear this wouldn't be our SB year - or at least not without a lot of luck. And we got none of that. After Miller's injury I really didn't ever feel like we were going to be SB champions. I felt we 'blew it' last year. This year it just seemed to fall apart for us in a lot of different ways.
  16. Ultimately it was still a season when all Bills' prayers were answered. But there was absolutely nothing left on that pitch today. Terrible from the start.
  17. Weird to me that we spent all that money on an old age Von Miller and didn't use him sparingly for playoff use. Having him beat up QBs in the early season was fine but not really decisive.
  18. I feel, with Dorsey, that it's all about Dorsey. He's calling plays for his career rather than the Bills as a whole. Perhaps unfair, but I don't really trust him. He's flash.
  19. least convincing i've seen us all season. shame. barely one positive in the whole performance. no heart at home divisional round exit is probably par for this season. no way there was a superbowl without a secondary.
  20. We've adapted to them quite well after a horror start. But we just look short on the players we need to compete this deep into the season. On the upside, it's a lot closer than it could be. That punt felt like a grown-up call to me.
  21. Haha. I remember people saying similar things in 1993.
