  1. What an intelligent and composed performance by Rudolph so far.
  2. I've followed a lot of sports teams over the years. mostly soccer and rugby teams over here in the UK And I honestly can't think of a team I've liked more than these Bills. For a start I like McDermott - I know most people don't, but I do. I think he's an impressive leader of men who understands culture. I like Bean too. I think they've identified what the team's needed and made some fantastic moves to make it happen. Be it a run game. An o line. A red zone offence that doesn't depend on trick plays. Picks like Bernard, Cook and Torrence. It might be that I don't understand the Xs and Os of the game well enough to fully see what drives so many people crazy. But I see a lot of good in our management. Then there's the players. Josh Allen is the most enigmatic and likeable sportsman I've perhaps ever seen. Milano. Dawkins. Oliver. Morse. Phillips. These are just great, great guys. The whole roster just seems to be filled with character and the right kind of attitude. It's a pleasure to be following them at the moment after years of, well, not this. It guts me that so much of this season was wasted with the wrong OC - by all accounts a decent enough man but infuriating from game one. And I feel the NFL cost us dearly by robbing a home game to pander to the league's international aspirations (scandalous, really). So I am not very optimistic that this is the year . But I really do think the year is coming - the year we win the big prize - if we keep in the same direction. It feels like the side is growing and learning all the time. I know many will disagree. But I just hope we don't lose our nerve and find ourselves starting over, with a new HC, with a new culture and end up just spinning wheels. There's something special going on here. I hope it gets backed.
  3. Old man flacco is not to be under-rated either. He’s a terrific competitor when the heat is on
  4. This is all set up to ruin Christmas in spectacular style
  5. watching his presser now. he's such a lovely kid.
  6. Thought Phillips was monstrous on D and he seems to be a leader on that team.
  7. sad seeing the titans in oilers garb. the oilers were a cool franchise.
  8. We are the best team in the league We were let down by a silly choice of OC and some major injuries that we quickly made up for Cowboys are toast
  9. Does anyone else find it weird that the officials read out the overtime rules before it begins? Might as well read the rules of the entire game of football before every match. You sort of assume people at this level *know* the rules.
  10. Who do we want/need to win Steelers v Colts?
  11. I'd rather have Von coming into his own for a potential post-season than have him pillage the opposition for the opening few games like last year. If he *does* get his body back in time - and we *do* somehow reach the playoffs - it's going to be a hell of a boon to have him back. Maybe, just maybe, this is the year instead of falling apart, we come together at just the right time. And maybe it will be a white Christmas and there will be lasting peace on earth too.
  12. Alright! Alright! No need to attack Gabe's momma! 😄
  13. He was found out very quickly yesterday by a canny old bull. However, that’s to be expected. His whole vibe and MO is fantastic. That whole Dorsey tantrum last season should have been the warning. An uptight, intense guy try to lead a cool and carefree offense. Was never going to work. A dull logician who has no respect for magic.
  14. I thought Miller was offside on that play too. I was more than relieved to see he wasn't. Cos I was about to lash my laptop against the wall.
  15. It's just so great to watch so many entertaining games. I know it's all about winning an SB for Buffalo. But I sometimes think people will have missed out on enjoying one of the great eras or entertaining football in Buffalo for complaining all the time. I was watching Derek Carr yesterday and just thought "Christ, this is what watching football is like most of the time." Watching Buffalo play the last few seasons has been fantastic. Okay, it's been heartbreaking at times too, but you take that. Allen is an absolute joy.
  16. It's weird to give the team all sorts of ***** when this stuff goes against us, and then to give the team no credit when this stuff goes for us. If you are in the game, there's always going to be moments that swing it one way or the other. We're just unfortunate that more have gone against us than have gone for us. Sure, there's human agency in there. But it's the fabric of the game. Teams are under lots of pressure and players are human.
  17. Why does it have to be so binary? Form can come and go. People can have bad games. People can have bad streaks. People can turn it around. Was he great yesterday? No. Does that mean he's DONE? Of course not.
