    well great….now you need to convince him because of the cold I guess the new stadium being “enclosed” with a heated field could be a sly way of convincing him

    the chances of drafting a rookie Edge to have an impact in playoff games is very low IMO

    You’d likely need to convince him to sign an extension to agree to the trade unless we’re comfortable parting with a 2nd potentially for 1 season. Let him see if he’s OK with the cold after a year?

    I think he’ll be brought back on an incentive heavy deal which would be great for us because he clearly has extra juice when those are within his reach

    I looked at his logs too and didn’t notice any difference, but Seattle hasn’t played many away games on the east coast or midwest in the winter. He did have 80+ yards in a KC december game a few years ago maybe Josh can convince him + the medical staff can help manage the asthma ?

    I don’t expect us to get him with his “ideally warm weather climate” but I’d offer a 2nd for sure 3 years 80 mil with incentives he can earn to push it up to 90

    if the cap never went up, I would agree with this. However since the cap will be going up around 90 million over the next 3 years… Fretting over extending your own solid players at less than current market value seems like complete absurdity
