If the wind is blowing you won’t feel the heat.
I sat in my speedo inside during the patriots gameI wonder if they are just too old now.
When they were first installed, people in the 100 level said they could feel the heat from them.

If I take others to the game who can't take the longer walk, I'll park at ECC and pay the extra $10 but keep this in mind. With many lots scattered across campus, only one offers a shorter walk and it fills faster. As you enter the campus from Rt 20 ( SW Drive) and then pay, go to the left even if they say it's full. Just ask to check it out for yourself. There are usually spots in the lot near ECCs football field still remaining.
Also, an added benefit is the open space around those lots for some fun n games if you are so inclined.
Edit: Nevermind. Figured it out.

Buffalo is one of the smallest markets in the NFL , so the new capacity is much more in line with the area. 61.5k for Soldier Field and CHI ha millions more population than Buffalo. As for the wind , most of the issues stem from the sunken design of the lower bowl in OP. It’s a safe bet that won’t be incorporated in the new layout.
Market size is not why they are reducing capacity.

200 miles. If I recall correctly.

To be fair it's the organizations involved own fault for putting out a date like that.
Agreed.
I fail to understand what Tim Graham did wrong here.
The organization set a date and specifically said you “should be worried” if we reach that date without a deal.
The date arrives, there is no deal, we were told to be worried if this happen, and Tim Graham points it out.
What are people snarking about?

No. /close thread
Why do people on this forum say this?
”Close thread”?
I frequent several forums and this is the only forum that I see it said often.
Do you feel so entitled that only your opinion or thought should be elicited?

He's correct
McDermott took away play calling duties once from Frazier in 5 years and the entire Buffalo Media made a stink about..
He has admitted it once.
That does not mean it was the only time he did it.
Just now, Buffalo716 said:McDermott holds play sheets all the time because he's the head coach and he wants to be in sync with what's going on
McDermott has never held the play sheet when the team was on offense.
Ever.

It seems over the years, so many on here want to take any possible credit for the defense playing well from Frazier. What do you all think he's been doing the past 5 seasons?
I believe he does what McDermott directs him to do.

It is McDermott's scheme. Frazier calls the plays and puts together the gameplans.
I sure see McD holding that play sheet a lot…
1 minute ago, GunnerBill said:McDermott has taken over the defense once. Once in 5 years.
I believe that this is incorrect.

Yea he has only had 3 top 5 defenses in 5 years Leslie Frazier. He must suck.
McD? Or Frazier?

The problem is number of snaps played. It's just not that much compared to regular offensive or defensive players.
That is what John Clayton has brought up more than once when talking about how he doesn't see Tasker as a HOFer.And he's on the voting committee and talks to all the voters behind closed doors, etc.
Hester averaged slightly over 1 TD per year he played.I truly can not believe he is potentially a first ballot HOF'er.

Last question, I promise... Is there any authentic Buffalo food inside the stadium?
I see Bocce Club is there- is it the same pizza as their regular locations or just typical ballpark pizza?
Can you get good beef on weck inside?
Thanks to everyone for all the responses & tips.
Stadium food is trash.
Its quickly made food using the cheapest ingredients and designed to feed 40k people quickly.
Edit: You can also spend up to half a quarter waiting in line to get it.

How early should I plan on getting to there?
Was planning on getting there around 10:00, but considering the temps, not sure. Can you arrive at 10:00-10:30 & still get parking at ECC?
The main lots start to get pretty packed by 10:30 but since you want to get to the airport after the game, I wouldn’t recommend using them anyway.
I bet you would be fine at ECC at 10:30.

I wouldn't recommend making a fuss over trying to get beef on weck. It truly is not anything to write home about.
Someone finally said it. I didn’t want to be the first.
If you’re in the area of Charley’s and have nothing to do, fine. Try it.
But don’t go out of your way for it. People hype it up, but it’s nothing special. If you’ve had an Arby’s sandwhich then you have at least a general idea of what it’s going to taste like.
Personally I think that Rochester’s garbage plate is far more of a true “try this” than beef on weck.
Edit; I would also make it a point to have italian while in town. I’ve traveled the country and western NY has the best italian food. In fact, the best italian restaurant that i’ve ever eaten is in Irondequoit NY. It’s called Pasta Villa and I can’t stop visiting. It’s perfect every time. A lot of italians settled down in that town and it’s truly something special.

Hammer has spoken about this and I know he posts here as well on occasion, but paraphrasing basically Ron was intending on scaling it back to 1/2 games a year, even before Covid. So no Covid is not the main reason for its hiatus. It was just getting too played up and played out.
Ahh. That makes more sense - at least to me.

Retire that, just for sanitation sake.

I think it's a covid measure
I believe it's coming back in the future
He’s worried about covid in the ketchup and mustard?
Or about people congregating to watch?
If the former, that’s ridiculous. If the latter, perhaps someone should tell him 70k people are about to congregate in the stadium with him.

He also could have flipped it to Diggs.
It doesn’t look like any of the linemen are more than a yard downfield.
EDIT: Just saw that someone else mentioned the same thing before me. Never mind.

Not impressed with Sanders’ reaction here. We score, we win, celebrate. The team, the team, the team.
Agreed.
Someone mentioned that perhaps he was upset about being held. But who cares? You just sealed the game. Go celebrate.
-
Is Sanders unhappy?
-
I'm sure he would say he's just trying to punch out the ball, but considering that Allen is already on the ground, I feel that this is excessive.

Club seat question
in The Stadium Wall
Posted
It was hit or miss whether my seat ever turned the heat on.
