I hope everyone subscribes to the Athletic. It's small investment to ensure the generation of good content.

Im subscribed (for over a year now) but i’m still on the fence.

Like most reporters, Buscaglia has no professional football experience. How do I have any idea if the way he is analyzing the film is correct? People bash PFF, who has analysts that watch thousands of hours of game film for every player in the NFL. Yet we trust local reporters that watch a few hours each week.

I agree.  The local callers are nearly as annoying as she is.  Her voice just seems to be a special kind of annoying.  Maybe it's the pitch or something.

Having said that, she seems to know her stuff.  And criticism of her on air voice isn't a criticism of her as a woman in the sports workplace or anything like that.  Kudos to her for rising to her current position.

For me, it’s not so much her voice, but rather her pacing.

She talks very… oddly. There are pauses in weird spots and run-on sentences, and it’s just all so bad.

I can't listen to the show with Maddy Glab. All she does is repeat what Chris Brown says, but in a way that makes it twice as long to say. She provides nothing of value. It makes the show unlistenable for me.

Steve is a little discombobulated and has strange things to say, but at least he isn't just a parrot repeating everything he hears from others on the show. Hope he returns soon.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up that she is still on the show today. I will not be listening to it later.

    Same.

Maddy is absolutely terrible for this particular job. I have no idea who gave her this job but she is not qualified for it.

Why? It's very likely that PSL's can be spread over a few seasons. So the impact will be blunted. It will be an extra bump of $10-20 per ticket. Personally I've been expecting this. But they better make this stadium worth it.

If what you’re saying is correct, then it certainly would have been better for them to avoid the buzzword of “PSL” at all.

Simply raise the price of tickets $10-$20 and let that be that.

I know last week at that time, the traffic in front of stadium was a gridlock.  Not sure if you arrived at 10:30 last week, if you would have made it into the game on time.  I know people that were there at 9:30, and didn't get to parking till almost noon.

Wow. Thank you for letting me know.

I don’t remember it ever being like you described in the past. Guess people are very excited.

Great point. Does NYS even provide some type of ID for kids that don't have a drivers license? Like a Sheriffs ID? I am not sure NYS requires kids under 18 to even have an ID. I'm retired Military and our kids aren't issued a GOV Dependent ID now until 12 yrs of age. And here in CO kids can get a Sheriffs ID if they aren't getting a drivers license.

Im sure there is some way for kids to get an ID but I don’t know any kids that have one.

I’m guessing that they’re going to let in anyone (within reason) that says they’re 11 or younger.

And no that wasn’t a “sure TD”, though it would have been a contest

I suppose Sanders could have dropped the ball. Or Allen could have overthrown or underthrown. But that was as sure of a TD as it gets in the NFL. There is not a safety in the league who would be able to get to Sanders before the ball did.

I’ve been to a bunch of preseason games over the years whenever we come up for the Erie County Fair, but this weekend will be the first regular season Bills game I’ve been to in 25 years and my son’s first regular season Bills game in Buffalo. Last regular season game I went to was in Oct 1996 vs the Colts, Todd Collins was starting in place of Jim Kelly and the Bills won in OT. I was home on leave at that time before getting stationed in Japan for a year.

What is a good time to get to the parking lot? I never tailgated before and plan on to this time.

When is a good time to go to the gates to get inside the stadium?

Also, if there are unruly fans around causing problems, is there a number I can call or text?

    Thanks everyone!

I will be at the Washington game as well.

Its not my first game in years (I go often), but it will be my first game with my child. I was never nervous for my safety at a Bills game before, but something about bringing a child does make me think about safety, though I know that nothing is likely to happen.

Long story short, I understand your concern but have fun!
