Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
Einstein replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Bills will be within 1 game of KC with a win next week. Wow. -
Why call a timeout on defense there? The Chiefs are reeling and have no timeouts left.
-
You must have missed them losing 3 games in a row. Nearly all of October was L’s for them.

Technically, maybe. Realistically speaking, probably not. We currently are losing nearly every conceivable tiebreaker. We really need to win out. -

Yeah, as down as it has looked, we are only 1 game out of the playoffs right now. That's great news. Beat the Chiefs and it's game-on. -
He was mostly bad, so sure include him too.
-
Shanahan and SF would too. That team would be unstoppable.
-
Browns may get to 8-4 while starting Joe Flacco, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and PJ Walker this season. WTF.
-
"these" teams? Maybe SF. But we had 500+ yards against that Philly team, and are two missed/blocked kicks from beating them.
-
I think part of what we are seeing right now is a hangover from the Bills physically abusing that defense for much of last week. 6 days is not a lost of rest time from what we did to them.
-
Incredible head coach, athletically limited but smart QB, one of the best RB's of all time, great play-calling, and a tough defense. They look like a good pick to win it all.
-
McCaffrey's ability to turn 2 yard gains into 5 is so darn valuable.
-
That tush push is impossible to stop. Surprised they don't do that all the way down the field one drive ... just because.
-
Well thats a first. Never seen a heady of security thrown out before.
-
McCaffrey was worth every draft pick and every cent SF gave up for him.
-
Except he plays like he is 220. Brady was right when he raved about him after the draft. Guy is incredible.
-
Except 6 years younger.
-
So, that's what a defense that can make a stop in crunch time looks like.
-
Stroud does have Tank Dell, who I would trade anyone on the Bills receiving core for (including Diggs).
-
CJ Stroud is legitimately a top 10 QB already. Incredible.

To be honest I agree with whatever mod wrote that. Spencer Brown is still the biggest liability on offense. Not to be confused with the biggest missing component (which is a #2 WR and playmaker). The reason we don't notice Spencer Brown as much anymore is because the Bills are giving him a lot of help from the TE staying in and chips from from the TE's and RB's going out in pass routes. Last time I checked the advanced stats, Brown was 2nd highest in the entire NFL for number of times needing help from another offensive player.

Here you go. I did a breakdown of this going back 40 years. -
McDermott's Two Minute Defense This Year vs Past Seasons
Einstein replied to Scott7975's topic in The Stadium Wall
It does sorta feel that way. I feel he is overall a good coach. And we could do A LOT worse than McD. But I worry how in crunch time it just… falls apart. Over and over and over again. From Houston playoffs, to KC playoffs (13 seconds), to Arizona (Hail Murray), to NE, to Denver, to Philly, to Minnesota … even the Miami playoff game we barely held on after going up 17-0. Seems like the only way we can win is to blow teams out. People mention all the greats that took a long time to put it together… Reid, Cowher, Belichick, etc. But were those coaches losing games in the most asinine heartbreaking fashion like McD has? Am I simply forgetting the ways those coaches lost? Do any of those guys have all-time blunders like 13 seconds, for example? It would make me feel a lot better if they do.
