  1. I confess to feeling the same way. The Pats had their way with us for so long, you wonder if we can ever kill the demons. Last night was a pure Josh Allen exorcism that left me feeling blissful and free from Billy Cheats haunting. Even the refs couldn't save his ass from a purely joyful dismantling of the dynasty. I think it's going to take a lot to dethrone Buffalo from the AFC perch for at least the next year or two.

Hopefully we can keep Knox, Diggs, Gabe, Singletary and keep the building out the trenches. Losing a few coaches and key players could open the door for some competition, but I finally trust that this Front Office can draft well, develop well and continue building a winner in Buffalo.

The only team I think is on par with the bills in the afc are the Chiefs

Don't count out Tenn. Especially with Henry back and rested. They won a bunch without him and their defense is good. I don't know how they do it, but they do so I got to give that coaching staff some credit.

Here me out.  Is it possible the Bills actually commit penalties at the worst possible time?

Or do the refs flag them at the worst possible time? I stopped counting how often replays showed phantom calls that were not definitive of a Bills penalty or very close but not called even for both teams during a game. Hence, the PI calls that went against us while Diggs was getting raped on his routes and nothing was called.

Also, I find it interesting that there are a lot more playoff teams in the negative versus the positive on this scale.

That kind of goes into my conspiracy theory of better teams getting flagged to keep the games closer, keep them within the spread, or over/unders, etc... They want to keep as many games competitive as possible.

  4. I'm with the crowd who says what does McD, Frazier and Daboll have planned to counter in game.

What adjustments do we make to the hoodie to keep him off guard and take advantage of matchups.

If they blitz heavy, who is going to be the safety valve?

How do we set up the running game for success?

How does Josh react pre-snap and see Hoodie's disguises and diagnose where the pressure is coming from?

How does the OL react to protect?  Do we go with 6 on the O-line and let Josh work downfield?

Can we design plays to take advantage of Knox, McKenzie and Davis.  How does Sanders fit back in?

How can we scheme up pressure on Mac?

How do we keep NE from running down our throats like game 1?

    Do we keep Klein in?

How does the DL rotation play out?

4-3-4 or 4-2-5 or 5-2-4?  Do we mix it up to take advantage of the Pats personnel on the field? Can we keep NE's WR's and TE's in check if we dedicate ourselves to stopping the run?

I'm more concerned with our adjustments rather than the Hoodies scheme.

If McDermott and Frazier keep asking him to lose weight, maybe he doesn’t really exist.

If he takes off more weight, they should try him as an OLB/DE hybrid. If he learns to cover in space, take out TE's and rush the passer, he might be a good weapon in a bigger, more hybrid defense other than the 4-2-5 we keep trotting out.

By most if not all accounts, Rick Bates played quite well Sunday, which especially with current OL availability issues raises the question of whether he will or should start at G going forward.

All year (and before) he seems to have been kept in reserve as the backup C, but at what point do you throw caution to the wind, gamble on Morse staying healthy and putting your best 5 out onto the field?

McD was asked about this after the game but immediately deflected the question.

Curious to see what you all think about this.

Rick Bates. Is this Master's son?

That opening day loss is going to haunt us Pats fans. Wasn’t for that blown game we are still in control of the East ugh (lol I know it happened but you know what I mean by the frustration.. a game you lost that you know they should have won.)

We can say the same for the Jacksonville game. That was a cluster f'k of a game. No way we should lose. Same scenario. We could also have won the Titans and Bucs games if not for a few blown calls by the zebras and the players.
